The war on your DNA may be happening in your bathroom

Chapter 6 of "UNBREAKABLE" argued that routine exposure to products such as shampoo, perfume, cosmetics, deodorant, detergents and lotions may place a cumulative burden on the body's DNA-repair systems.

Mike Adams focused on oxidative stress, explaining that normal metabolism already produces reactive molecules and arguing that additional chemical exposures could increase DNA and cellular damage.

The episode highlighted "fragrance" or "parfum" as potentially representing mixtures of undisclosed individual compounds, with perfumes, shampoos, air fresheners, candles and scented laundry products contributing to exposure.

Adams argued that detergent and fabric-softener residues – including quaternary ammonium compounds, phthalates and optical brighteners—can remain on fabrics, leading to prolonged skin contact and potentially contributing to oxidative or cellular stress.

The chapter urges viewers to reconsider products marketed as "clean," "fresh," beautiful or protective, asking what their ingredients may mean biologically and how the body's repair machinery responds to repeated daily exposure....<<<Read More>>>.....
