Opening The Third Eye
Opening the Third Eye is directly related to the 6th chakra; the psychic chakra, located on the middle of the forehead above the brows. It is closely associated with the "pineal" gland. The pineal gland id dormant in most people,as is the true 3rd eye. French Philosopher Rene Descartes believed the pineal gland to be "the seat of the soul" where mind and body met. In the average person, the pineal gland is atrophied and dormant. The following exercise will change that. Please read this thoroughly:
The pineal gland is like a grape in size; like a raisin in most people where it remains dormant.
Opening the third eye/pineal gland: This is done with a specific tone and chant. You only need to do this exercise for 3 days, afterwards, it is permanent. The mantra to be used is "Thoh," pronounced "TOE." It must be within the correct vibration. Not deep, not high pitched, inbetween, like alto range. You will feel it when you hit the correct tone.
1. Sit with your back straight.
2. Breathe in through your nose and hold your breath as long as is comfortable- open your jaws so there is a small space between your top and bottom teeth, place the tip of your tongue between the space of your slightly parted teeth.
3. Put a very light pressure onto the tongue with your teeth. This is like the same process of saying the "TH" part of the English word "the." Once your tongue is in position, release your breath slowly through your mouth saying T-H-H-O-H-H in one long exahle (say the word one time pre exhale) Your tongue will be vibrating between your teeth. You should feel the air moving past your tongue and teeth. If this technique is done properly, you will feel a pressure or sensation in your jaw and cheeks. The tone will also vibrate in your 3rd eye. It may take a few seconds to adjust this, don't worry, just keep going.
4. Do the above 5 times in a row.
5. It is very important the above exercise be done for 3 consecutive days, 24 hours apart. Then it is a done deal.

A Word on "The Ankh"
The Egyptian crux ansata, or looped tau-cross. This magic knot or cross, known as Nem Ankh, the key of life, was often used in the iconography of opposites. The loop over the tau-cross could stand for the Sun, for Heaven and Eath as the macrocsm and for man as the microcosm. It is generally interpreted as a symbol which expresses the reconciliation of opposites of the integration of active and passive qualities. This is amply confirmed by the fact that, when recumbent, the ankh symbolizes both male and female sexual attributes in precisely the same way as the very realistic Hindo depiction of a Hermaphrodite standing on a Lotus flower. Champdor gives a more traditional interpretation as:the symbol of the millions of years of the life to come. The loop is the perfect symbol of what has neither beginning nor end and stands for the soul which is eternal because it has sprung from the spiritual essence of the gods. The cross erpresents the state of trance in which te neophyte struggled, or, more precisely, the state of death, the crucifixion of the chosen victim, and in some temples the priests used to lay the neophyte on a bed shaped like the cross... The possessor of the geometric key to the hidden mysteries, of which the symbol was this very looped cross, was able to open the gates of the Kingdom of the Dead and penetrate the hidden meaning of eternal life. Gods, kinks and Isis (almost invariably) are depicted holding the ankh to show that they command the powers of life and death and that they are immortal. The dead also carry it at the time their souls are weighed or when they are aboard the Boat of the Sun God, as a sign that they seek this same immortality from the gods. Furthermore the ankh symbolized the spring from which flowed divine virtues and the elixir of immortality. Therefore to hold the ankh was to drink from that well. It was sometimes held upside down by the loop - especially in funeral rites when it suggested the shape of a key and in reality was the key which opened the gateway of the tomb into the Fields of Aalu, the realm of eternity. Sometimes the ankh is placed on the forehead, between the eyes, and then it symbolizes the duty of the adept to keep secret the mystery into which he has been initiated - it is the key which locks these secrets away from the uninitiated. Blessed by the supreme vision, endowed with clairvoyance to pierce the veil of the beyond, he cannot attemot to reveal the mystery without losing it for ever.
The ankh is often set in the same category as the Girdle of Isis, as a symbol of eternity. This is not because its straight lines may be lengthened in the imagination to infinity, but because they converge upon and meet in a closed loop. This loop symbolizes the inexhaustible essence of the life force identified with isis, from whom life flows in all its forms. it is therefore carried by all those who wish to share her life. Hence the ankh may be identified with the Tree of Life, with its trunk and foliage.
The significance of the Girdle of Isis is far more complex. Like ropework or plaited hair round the arms and the loop of the cross, it infuses the concept of life and of immortality with the concept of the knots which tie down mortal life on Earth and which must be unravelled to enjoy immortality. `Free your bonds,' says The Egyptian Book of the Dead, `untie the knots of Nephthys.' And again: `Shining are those who carry the girdle. Oh! Bearers of the Girdle.' The same meaning is conveyed by the Tibetan Buddhist book called The Book of the Untying of the Knots. While the plain looped cross symbolizes divine immortality, sought orattained, the Girdle of Isis makes clear the conditions under which that immortality is obtained - by the untying of knots - dénouement in the true sense of the word.

Looking to the skies, you'd be forgiven for thinking that something worrying was afoot. Surely that's a massive UFO hovering menacingly over the rooftops above? Well, no. They're clouds - but they were realistic enough to make those who spotted them do a double take. The 'flying saucer' was photographed over Crieff in Perthshire at the weekend by Brian Wilton and his wife Isobel. 'We couldn't believe it,' said Mr Wilson. 'It was like the scene in the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind when the spaceship comes down.' Mr Wilton believes the cloud was an altocumulus lenticularis - an almond-shaped or lens-shaped mass of cloud that appears dense but quickly evaporates. Anticipating the Good
When we find ourselves going through any kind of change in our lives, our natural response may be to tense up on the physical, mental, or emotional level. We may not even notice that we have braced ourselves against a shift until we recognize the anxiety, mood swings, or general worried feeling toward the unknown that usually results. There are positive ways to move through change without pushing it away, however, or attempting to deny that it is happening. Since change will occur in almost every aspect of our lives, we can learn to make our response to it an affirmative one of anticipation, welcoming the new while releasing the past with grace. One thing we can do is change our perspective by changing the labels we use to identify our feelings. We can reinterpret feelings of anxiety as the anxious butterflies that come with eager expectation. With this shift, we begin to look for the good that is on its way to us. Though we may only be able to imagine the possibilities, when we acknowledge that good is there for us to find, we focus our energy on joyful anticipation and bring it into our experience while allowing the feelings to carry us forward. We can also choose to do a ceremony to allow our emotions to process. Every culture has created ceremonies to help people make the transition from one phase of life to the next. We can always create a ceremony too, perhaps by burning written thoughts to watch the smoke carry them away, thereby releasing them, or we can welcome new endeavors by planting flowers or trees. Some ceremonial activities such as a farewell send-off or housewarming party, we may do automatically. Society also has built-in ceremonies, like graduation and weddings, which may satisfy the need we feel. Sometimes the shift from denial to acceptance is all that is needed to ease our anxiety, allowing us to bring our memories with us as we move through nervousness to joyful excitement about the good to come.

Sink or Swim?
The omens are not exactly good with England having played so poorly in their opening two World Cup games ... all attention will therefore be on their final group game against Slovenia. On paper, they should secure progression into the Round Of 16 ... but then, on paper they should have won against USA & Algeria. With the form book out of the window, it's sink or swim for England ... so the question here is, will England make it through to the Round Of 16?Using the Merlin Tarot ... and five apparently randomly chosen images commencing with The Blasted Tower as the significator. A card showing total change. The remaining four images are all from the Suit of Fishes ... 5 of Fishes (Sorrow); 4 of Fishes (Joy); 3 of Fishes (Affection) and 8 of Fishes (Excitement). There is no clear answer here ... with perhaps the only clue that of the Blasted Tower. First impression appears to be that of disaster and disappointment. However, it is a card of imminent change. England have played poorly ... does this mean they will play the opposite? The 4 Fishes cards confirm a game of great emotion ... great ups and downs ranging from excitement to joy to affection to sorrow. Sorrow could mean England falling behind to a Slovenia goal? Excitement may refer to the early stages of the game. Joy may indicate the end result ... is this wishful thinking? Most people, when given an opportunity to aid someone in need, are eager to do whatever they can to be of service. Those of us who have chosen to make healing the world a vocation are grateful for any occasion to send light and love to people in our immediate spheres of influence and beyond. As we apply our passion and our principles to this altruistic endeavor, we often forget to send ourselves the same bountiful gifts of wellness, though we ourselves may be in dire need of it. We overlook ourselves, not because we forget, but because we fear that focusing on the self is an indicator of selfishness. It is moreover much more difficult to heal oneself than to heal others because the seeds of uncertainty are more easily banished when we act on another's behalf. When we send healing light to ourselves, it is important that our intentions and our self-trust be stronger than ever to counteract doubt. As we bless ourselves in this way, we serve as both an active channel and a passive destination. This should not change the way we interact with the valuable energy we wish to receive, however. Though we may be tempted to consciously direct or influence the manner in which light impacts our lives because we know ourselves most intimately, we should not try to control its path. When we draw the white light of protection and purity to our bodies, taking it into ourselves with each inhalation, our belief in the fact that it will naturally move toward areas of dysfunction will ensure that it flows through every muscle and organ. Farmer's fury as crop circle appears next to heart-shaped wood on Summer Solstice
The summer solstice is traditionally a time of peace and love. So it was particularly fitting that this crop circle should appear in a field in Wiltshire yesterday - right next to a heart-shaped wood. But the sentiment wasn't exactly shared by the farmer whose land the circle appeared on. He blasted the design an 'act of vandalism'. A man claiming to be Gavin Davies, the farm's manager, posted an angry message on a website run by crop circle enthusiasts, urging them not to encourage people to visit the field. He said: 'I have this morning noticed the circle on land that I manage. I do not support this vandalism, and demand that this circle, and the location are not reported on your website. We will be posting notices on the field stating we do not allow access to the circle, and will regularly monitor the field to ensure this is obeyed.' Mr Davies said he was concerned visitors could trample on his crops, destroying them in the process. He said: 'At this stage, the crop remains harvestable, and as a result, we will leave the circle intact. 'If visitors to the site ignore our notices, and continue to walk into the crop, we will mow out the circle. I will be taking advice from the local police, and legal advice from our solicitors to counter this act of vandalism. Please let the teams behind the circles know they are not welcome here. Practical Exercise #2 ...
I'm speculating what to do for Practical Exercise #2 ... there are a number of ideas floating around. I'm considering using the colour grid shown left, which has been used in previous practical exercises. Because of the disruption tonight with the lack of internet connection, all plans have gone out the window. The likelihood will be a selection of colours/numbers from this grid, much in the same format as the ESP cards. I'm going to spend the next day or two perusing over the other options I have .... so watch this space.

The Dwelling Pulse
Our homes are filled with energy that we create and allow to flourish. In many cases, our relationship with the pulse of our homes is passive rather than active because we do not pay particular heed to the energy that has been established. It is only when we regard these spaces as unique entities that we begin to understand why it is necessary to take charge of the energy that fills our homes. Stagnant, inharmonious energy can find its way into our dwellings through many avenues. Previous occupants, builders, visitors, and the individuals who maintain a home leave a strong energy imprint behind. Objects and symbols can also have an effect on the energy of a residence. When we are aware of all that can influence the energy of our spaces, we are empowered to create harmonious homes that do more than meet our need for shelter. Exercising care with regard to who and what we invite into our homes is one of the easiest ways we can ensure that the energy within remains loving and supportive. It is not always possible to keep potentially harmful people and possessions from entering our homes, but we can take precautions. Individuals can be kept from private spaces like bedrooms and meditation areas, while property can be purified through cleansing or smudging. During periods of remodeling or construction, Reiki symbols and other positive imagery can be printed on surfaces that will later be covered by walls or flooring. Though hidden, these will continue to attract good energy and cleanse the existent energy. Blessings can also be drawn in plain sight, where they remind us of how potently our home's energy can affect our own. Crystal Divination: Three Techniques for Insight and Healing
From the Ancient Egyptians, to the Elizabethans, and even modern psychics, crystals have played an enormous role in many divinatory techniques. There are several divination methods in which one can utilize the power of crystals for guidance. Crystallomancy, Lithomancy, and Dowsing are just a few of these powerful divinatory methods.There are a number of steps to performing a reading using crystals as divinatory tools. These steps may be utilized for any type of crystal divination. First, one must formulate a general question about a particular issue in which he/she needs guidance. The question should be open-ended (i.e. it should not have a yes or no answer). Then, the diviner must focus on the question at hand. It may help to write the question on a sheet of paper and/or to ask it aloud at least three times.
Next, the diviner must prepare himself or herself for the reading. He or she must select the crystal(s) to be used while focusing on the question at hand. He or she should then clear his or her mind and become attuned to the energy of the crystals. The, one needs to clear and cleanse all of the crystals that will be used. There are a variety of ways one can clear a crystal. One way to cleanse a crystal is by soaking it in a solution of sea salt and distilled water (lavender oil is also often added to the solution due to its purification properties).
Another method involves holding the stone under running water or in a stream to be purified. Yet another method to cleanse a stone is by smudging it. To smudge a stone, one must pass the stone through the smoke of an herb or incense (white sage, juniper, palo santo, sweetgrass, cedar, and sandalwood are all commonly used smudging herbs). Also, one may choose to bury a stone in the soil of the earth for a length of time in order to cleanse it. The clearing process should be carried out until one intuitively feels that the stone has been cleansed, or by feeling the stone's energy. Then, after the reading, the diviner should always cleanse and clear the crystals to remove any energy that may have been transferred during the session. Imagine a strong, pure white light of love surrounding your body, this is a protective light and
reflects all negative energies. Make sure that the pure white light starts from your head and
is about two feet from the top of your head and flows all the way around your body and down
to your feet. Make sure this pure white light also goes under your feet, so as not to leave
anything exposed.

Haunted Canberra - The Graveyard Shift II
Here are two photographs that captured a strange 'mist' phenomenon which was experienced during our paranormal investigation of a Canberra graveyard. The image right was taken immediately after I became aware of a strong presence behind me. The resultant photograph depicts the strange mist which was not evident prior to the photograph. The second photograph was taken approximately five minutes after the first ... again I became aware of a strong presence behind me.
During this part of our investigation, all four members of our investigation team were aware of a very cold spot around a point we were taking photographs of the cemetery.
We were also able to capture 'interesting' EVP recordings in the same spot as the cold spot. There appears to be an attempt to communicate with us when invitations were made to the detected presence. There are also strange rustling noises and a loud cracking noise ... neither of which were audible during the EVP recording.
We also undertook another visit to Blundell Cottage ... but were unable to obtain anyclear evidence on this visit.

On the evening the strange orb & light phenomenon was photographed at the rear of the house, I'd settled into bed and was drifting into sleep state. I became aware of a sulphurous like odour immediately in front of me. Moments later I felt a physical jab around my solar plexus area. I was then aware of a humanoid face standing in front of me. I was consciously aware of the three stages of the attack ... first the smell, secondly the physical jab and then thirdly the appearance of the entity.

With the realization of ones own potential and self-confidence in ones ability, one can build a better world. According to my own experience, self-confidence is very important. That sort of confidence is not a blind one; it is an awareness of ones own potential. On that basis, human beings can transform themselves by increasing the good qualities and reducing the negative qualities.
