Inner Awareness

We are all pelted with problems. Honestly, it should not even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks… or can you? Concentrate and take notice of your Inner Awareness Inner-Awareness, what does it mean? Well, lets us look at each word individually.

“Inner” means inside, within the essence of our being on some spiritual level.

“Awareness” means one's perception of reality from one plane or dimension to another.

Therefore, it could be said that “Inner-Awareness” is an attitude, an understanding of ones inner consciousness. An understanding of how one perceives themselves. A true understanding of how you really feel and why you act in the way you do. Every person in this world has access to their inner awareness. We all live in a very materialistic world that is run by logic and scientific achievement and discovery. For something to be real, you must perceive it with your physical senses. If you’re inner awareness has not been developed and fine-tuned, then you may find many activities and energies around have no conscious awareness for you, so you will be out of touch with your inner self....read more>>>...

Research: Pineapple Enzyme Superior to Chemotherapy in Treating Cancer

Every once in a while a study pops up on the National Library of Medicine's bibliographic database known as MEDLINE that not only confirms the therapeutic relevance of natural substances in cancer treatment, but blows the conventional approach out of the water.

Published in 2007 in the journal Planta Medica, researchers found that an enzyme extracted from pineapple stems known as bromelain was superior to the chemo-agent 5-fluorauracil in treating cancer in the animal model. The researchers stated:

The Basics of Chakras

Your physical and spiritual bodies should be in balance so that you will have an optimal learning experience while on Earth. Balance in this connotation is not staying upright and being able to walk a straight line, but rather keeping your chakras open to receive the universal life force. Understanding and using the light that surrounds you is a key to providing energy balance throughout your body.

Your body is surrounded by energy that appears in different colors. Many people can actually see this energy which is referred to as an aura. The colors in your aura should be clear and bright and will change throughout the day depending on your mood, feelings, or mind set. Some of you who are holding onto anger and pain may have dark or muddy colors. Your aura will remain muddy until your state of negativity and suppressed emotions, fears and pain are released back into the universe.

Collective Good

With all that takes place in our lives, it can sometimes be easy to overlook the fact that we're part of something greater than ourselves-a collective consciousness, the Universe, a greater cause. Because of our tendency to forget this, we might make decisions in our lives that don't reflect that responsibility that comes with this belonging. All too often, we focus just on the short-term, tangible gain to ourselves without worrying about its consequences. Other times, we may discard the greater cause because it seems like "hard work." The challenge is to expand our minds so that we transcend the distinction between self and others, so we are aware of how our choices and actions can impact a greater cause.

Contributing to the greater cause doesn't have to be all about self-sacrifice. For example, if you plant a tree in a community space, its shelter will cool and protect you as well as your neighbors. Or, your reward might be in the form of the beauty that you now see in that space or the sincere smiles of appreciation from neighbors. When you serve the greater cause you also serve your greater good. There is nothing that you cannot do for your highest good that will not benefit the good of all. For example, saying no to a relationship that isn't right for you not only benefits you but serves the greater good of the other person that you are honoring with your honesty. Saying yes to your dream job not only fulfills you but also serves the people that will benefit from your enthusiasm and productivity.

When you know you are serving a greater cause, there is little room for fear and doubt. You know that what you do will benefit others, so there is no way the universe is not going to support your efforts - even if sometimes it may not look that way. Serving the greater cause allows you to live from the space of your greatness. When you know that what you do can serve a greater cause, you are aware of your power and ability to influence and create change in this world.

Earth Must Have Another Moon, Say Astronomers

Scientists studying satellites orbiting the planet have come to an astounding conclusion: Earth has multiple moons at any given time, the MIT Technology Review reported. Mikael Granvik, along with colleagues at the University of Hawaii, first discovered a mysterious body orbiting the Earth in 2006. The object -- or RH120 as it was known -- turned out to be a tiny asteroid just a few meters across. Moreover, it was a natural satellite just like our moon. Since then, the researchers have been studying how this "Earth-Moon" gravitational system captures bodies into its orbit while also modelling their frequency and duration. The asteroid RH120 for instance was captured in September 2006 and orbited the planet until June 2007. But how often do these "temporary moons" actually occur? Quite often, the astronomers found.

"At any given time, there should be at least one natural Earth satellite of one-meter diameter orbiting the Earth," Granvik, Jeremie Vaubaillon and Robert Jedicke wrote in "The Population of Natural Earth Satellites," a paper published in online physics journal ArXiv.org.

'Absolutely No Progress Being Made' at Fukushima Nuke Plant, Undercover Reporter Says

Creepy Cloud Formation Hovering Over England

A creepy cloud formation was reportedly photographed today hovering over England and users on the social news Web site Reddit began spreading the picture. User "chriswalkerb," from Yorkshire, England, posted the photograph and asked other Redditors: "Creepy cloud hovering over England can anyone explain?" In return, he received 712 comments and counting. However, no one had an exact answer. "As an air mass blows across a mountain range at perpendicular angle to the range, it creates a standing wave, much like a river running over an underwater rock have standing waves. Series of strong quakes hits New Zealand city still recovering from killer quake

Christchurch - A series of strong earthquakes struck the New Zealand city of Christchurch on Friday, rattling buildings, sending goods tumbling from shelves and prompting terrified holiday shoppers to flee into the streets. There was no tsunami alert issued and the city appeared to have been spared major damage. Initial reports said one person was injured at a city mall and was taken to a hospital, and four people had to be rescued after being trapped by a rock fall. Mystery space ball drops on Namibia

A large metallic space ball fell out of the sky on a remote grassland in Namibia, prompting authorities to contact Nasa and the European space agency. The hollow ball, which has a circumference of 43 inches, was found near a village in the north of Namibia some 480 miles from the capital Windhoek, according to police forensics director Paul Ludik. Locals had heard several small explosions a few days beforehand, he said. With a diameter of 14 inches, the ball has a rough surface and appears to consist of "two halves welded together". No Reason to Worry

At times when we are detoxing our bodies, or going through the ascension process, we experience aches in our bodies and manifest flu like symptoms. We may find ourselves feeling fatigued and even sad, as if we might be coming down with something. This is a natural part of any cleansing process and commonly accompanies deep inner-work. As we are called to examine our emotions and our beliefs, which often prompts deep inner-changes as well as external shifts, our bodies grow tired. Feeling under the weather is the way they let us know that it's time to take a break. It's best to be easy on ourselves at times like these and not to keep pushing forward. Learning to listen to and honor our bodies is part of the process of becoming more conscious.

As soon as you notice you are not feeling well, make an effort to get extra sleep, whether by going to bed earlier than usual or working naps into your routine. You can also support your body by eating as healthy as possible, drinking plenty of water and herbal teas, and taking vitamins. Vitamin C is especially galvanizing to the immune system. Homeopathic remedies can also aid you in assisting your body in its time of rest and recovery. Talking lovingly to yourself, and your body, will also help. Beyond that, simply letting go of thinking and resting in the deep silence of your true self will speed your recovery. In addition, you can always call upon your guides and angels, asking them to ease the symptoms.

It is natural to go through times of feeling under the weather, so there is no reason for you to worry. On the contrary, feel free to let go of worry and rest peacefully in the knowledge that this too shall pass, leaving you stronger, healthier, and further along in your healing process.

Countdown to 2012 - Part 2

2012 countdown - T MINUS 7 days, 16 hours and 6 minutes ...... and counting

Without been seen to state the obvious ... we are now closer to 2012 than we have ever been before! It's a threshold that is so close now. A little over a week and we are all going to find out what is in store for us. A quick scan round the conspiracy sites on the 'w.w.w' offers tantalising hints of the 'scary' things that might be just around the corner. Alarming advances in the US laws suggests that the much publicized F.E.M.A camps could play a role in 2012 & beyond. There's horrible hints of a world war three scenario being planned. Advances in big brother technology to spy on us more etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. One thing is for sure ... the doom and gloom merchants are likely to have a field day once the threshold has been crossed. Who's to say at this point if their insights are right or wrong? We are going to find out. On the brighter side ... the lightworkers are all anticipating a brighter, more enlightened future for us all. They see 2012 as the threshold between us all and a more spiritual way of living. Again ... who's to say they are right or wrong? We are going to find out ... soon enough. My own viewpoint is to be 'non-committal' .... there are so many views and opinions out there it is hard to make sense of the tangled web of confusion. My own feelings are 'its always the darkest before the dawn' ... in order for order to be restored chaos must reign. There is an amalgamation of many centuries of suppression and control coming to a head in the very near future ... so many issues have to be resolved before calmness can be restored. 'They' who are out to depopulate mankind in order to gain real control ... appear to be in a real quandary as renegades & betrayers within their own ranks are putting real spanners in their works. It appears, intuitively, that 'sleeping lightworkers' have been placed within the 'elite/illuminati' families ... and have gone along with the brutal conditioning and viewpoints until now. Their true nature seems to be cutting the connections with the negative aspects ... and ... and what? Things are not as rosy in their stolen paradise as it would seem. Thus ... 1/1/12 is an interesting time to be alive ... I agree major changes are afoot ... but how are they going to manifest?

There is no doubt that we have entered a time of great change. Everyone can feel it whether they can comprehend it or not. The evidence is everywhere; in politics, the economy, science and technology, in earth changes and in consciousness. Change in this great arena called life is happening so fast now that it can seem overwhelming. It can feel as if time itself is quickening. It can feel as if we have no control over the outcome of this transition. When, in fact, the opposite is true. Only we can determine the future, but we must actively participate in the change, otherwise the future will be determined for us if we choose not to look in the mirror. Life is like a mirror. When we smile, it smiles back at us. When we scowl, it scowls back at us. Uplifting Showers

The simple miracle of water falling from the sky has been interpreted in many ways by many cultures. In various areas of the world, rain was viewed as a nourishing gift, given by well-pleased deities. Rain also served as a symbol of emotional cleansing and represented the unending union between earth and sky. Today, rain is often seen as an annoyance—something to be borne doggedly while attending to one's usual duties. But the arrival of one or more rainy days can also be interpreted as a signal to slow down and contemplate life. When Mother Nature darkens the sky and causes drizzle to fall, freshly opened buds close and many animals settle into their nests for a period of repose. We can honor rainy days by following the example put forth by the flora and fauna around us. Even if we must venture out into a shower, we can still slow down and appreciate our connection to nature.

A rainy day spent indoors can be wonderfully uplifting. As the rain pours down, fill your home with light, sound, and comfort so that you can fully appreciate the loveliness of being snug and dry during a downpour. Storms literally change the energy in the air, and you may feel driven to follow suit by burning incense or sage, ringing bells or chimes, lighting candles, or singing. You may even feel compelled to talk to each room in your home in order to express your gratitude for the protection they give you. If, however, you feel claustrophobic rather than calm because you cannot venture outdoors, you can clear away negative energy by getting rid of clutter, sweeping away dust, and freshening your up spaces. The happier you are in your home, the more beautiful and wondrous a simple rain shower will seem.

A sheltered spot like a covered porch, sunroom, or bay window can provide you with a wonderful vantage point from which to meditatively observe raindrops as they make their descent to earth. And the pitter-patter of rain on a rooftop or car window can even be a therapeutic and soothing sound—one that reminds us that while the unforeseen will always be a part of our lives, we should never forget that nearly every cloud that comes into our lives will have a silver lining

A Soulful Cure

Since time immemorial, certain men and women have felt called to heal the sick, to safeguard knowledge, to guide the lost, and to commune with the spirit world. These unique individuals, known as shamans, were mystics and seers, repositories of wisdom, and keepers of herbal lore. During those periods when ignorance loomed large in the world, shamans across the globe bided their time, peacefully practicing their practical yet refined arts in the jungle, mountains, deserts, and tundra that protected them from those who misunderstood shamanism. Today, however, shamanism has reemerged, as modern men and women feel the same call to service that their ancestors felt long ago. Also, as more individuals explore the notion that healing necessarily involves the soul as well as the physical self, people are consulting shamans in their search for wellness, wisdom, and guidance.

The word shaman literally means "he or she who knows." Shamanism is an art that has not changed in any quantifiable way for millennia and is not bound to any particular form of spirituality. It is grounded on the principle that the visible world is saturated with unseen forces that influence the lives of human beings. Shamans, in addition to acting as fonts of wisdom, are dedicated to diagnosing and curing human suffering-whether emotional, physical, or spiritual. To treat an illness, a shaman may communicate with the spirit world in order to connect more directly with the soul of their patient or with the force causing ill health. They often work closely with animal guides, plant and earth spirits, or your spirit guides, and may make use of use of herbal remedies to supplement other forms of treatment. Shamans, as intermediaries between the physical and spiritual realms, recognize that all objects are in manner alive and retain information that can be utilized to heal.

Shamanism is powerful in part because its practitioners tailor healing to the individual needs of those who seek them out. A shaman manipulates energy, giving you power where you have lost it and removing misplaced energy lurking within you. When you seek out a shaman, they will endeavor to know and understand you before treating you. In this way, they can provide you with therapies that act on your whole being, positively influencing your body as well as your soul.

Lying - like it or not - is a part of everyday life. Most of us will bend the truth every now and then, with even the most honest person telling the occasional "white lie" to avoid hurting someone else's feelings. Vaccines are so effective at halting disease that they confer total immunity, say vaccine advocates. "Take a flu shot and you won't get the flu!" Both flu shots and MMR vaccines are so safe and effective that everybody should beforcedto take them, they insist. And why? Because they claim all those un-vaccinated people will spread disease to the vaccinated people!

Our Evolving Language

There are many troubling phrases in our language that we use without considering their full meaning simply because they have been accepted into common knowledge. Even as our ideals progress, our language maintains some phrases from our past that no longer serve us, for example: Boys don't cry; good child; boys will be boys; problem child; illegitimate child; and many more. While these phrases may be used without harmful intent, they are inherently negative. Children can be especially sensitive to such phrases, which may stay with them their whole lives, adversely affecting their self-image and wounding their self-esteem. We can create positive change by choosing not to use these words and phrases as we come across them in our vocabulary.

It is challenging to examine our habits in terms of the words we use to express ourselves, but it is also exciting. Language is an area where we can exercise our free will, creating positive change in the world around us by simply choosing carefully the words we use. It may seem like a small thing, but our words have a rippling effect, like a stone thrown in a pond. People naturally pick up on the way other people speak, consciously or unconsciously changing the way they speak in response. We don't need to actively try to influence people; it happens without our even thinking about it. All we have to do is choose to be more conscious ourselves, putting to rest words and phrases that are outmoded, insensitive, or harmful. We can also exercise our creativity by creating new phrases that carry positive and loving energy to replace the old ones.

You may already have some ideas about phrases you'd like to transition out of your language, and now that you’re thinking about it you may come across many more. As you consciously decide not to use these phrases, you may feel lighter and more joyful, knowing that you have chosen to drop baggage that was handed down to you from a less conscious time. As you do so, you elevate the language for future generations who would no doubt thank you if they could.

A rocky planet the same size as the Earth has been discovered orbiting a star like our sun. It is the first time a planet of this size has been detected in another solar system. Scientists have hailed the technical achievement of detecting Earth sized ‘exoplanets’ - the technical term for planets outside the solar system - as it increases the chances of finding life-bearing worlds. Although the planet, Kepler-20f could have a thick water-vapour atmosphere, its surface is believed to be too hot for life.A second planet in the same system, Kepler-20e, is only slightly smaller than Earth and even hotter. Both worlds circle their parent star closely with 'years' that last just nine and sixteen days respectively. Dr Francois Fressin, one of the astronomers from the Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics in Cambridge, US, said: ‘It is the first time humanity has been able to discover an object similar to the Earth around a star, so maybe we will be able to find others. ‘This could be an important milestone. The creative power of the universe is infinite. A single molecule's destiny is as important as the consequences of the largest supernova. Human potential is subject to this power, but because we are sentient beings, each of us is permitted to choose whether we will struggle against it or work in tandem with it. When we give voice to our desires through focused meditation or solicit the help of spirit guides, we draw upon the universe's creative power to achieve certain ends. However, because our words are not all the universe hears, the response we receive may surprise us. The discourse we establish through our appeals is a blend of speech, thought, intention, and subconscious reflection. When we ask the universe for something, the unspoken message is that what we want does not exist, and the universe accepts this as truth. Conversely, we manifest completeness through affirmations in which we declare our desires as if we have already obtained them.

When we affirm that we are fulfilled instead of articulating deficiencies, we are asserting that contentment is a natural and necessary element of human existence. Our essence is an expression of fulfillment—the universe wants to satisfy our needs and desires. When we describe our realities in positive terms, we are not denying the challenges inherent in existence. We choose not to focus on lack or dissatisfaction because we understand that the energy of our thoughts will determine the response we receive to our entreaties. Ask yourself how you would feel if your wishes were granted, and then allow yourself to internalize that emotional state. Try to create a picture of satisfaction so vivid that its reality is unquestionable and tell the universe that your vision is fact. At the close of your appeal, express your gratitude, as it is your acknowledgment of the truth of your fulfillment that will set the creative power of the universe into motion.

Working in perfect unison with the creative power of the universe will empower you to manifest spiritual realities in your material existence. As you affirm the beauty, peace, and goodness that already exist within in your life, your capacity to sense and understand their influence will become increasingly sophisticated. To meet your needs and achieve your desires, you need then only banish all thoughts of emptiness so that the energy of completeness can attract fullness into your being.
