Well, okay, not quite ready to go.
Been back in NZ just over a week and it has been non stop organising things, packing, boxing, paperwork, taking things we don't need to charity shop etc.
It is getting exciting thinking about being back in Australia.
Matt's relatives have lived there for over 50 happy years, one in Melbourne, one in Adelaide. Both have loved every minute of living in Australia and neither would go back to UK, visit yes, but live, No.
We have a whole new city to explore as we haven't been to Canberra before!
Are we mad? Of course we are!
But we are not the type to sit night after night in our armchair, watching TV, moan about the weather or whatever....and wonder what it's like to live elsewhere. We certainly don't want to grow old saying 'If only...or 'I wish we had done this or that'.....
We are doing it, going for it and take the rough with the smooth along the way.
Life after all is one big adventure.
We may be offline though for a few weeks until we get sorted, our belongings take 6 weeks to ship and clear customs and then be delivered to our door.
Problem we have..we haven't got a door yet! LOL
Will be at first in a furnished apartment within walking distance to work then we will spend the weekends house hunting....hopefully within a month of being in Australia, we have somewhere to call home and put our feet up.
