Using the Merlin Tarot
Insights relating to 'the Shining Star ' ... which is the significator for Madeleine McCann. Insights gained after The Star tarot image had been placed at the centre of the working. An exploration of the 'links' and 'inspirations' gained with The Star being associated with Madeleine McCann. They say the eye is the 'window to the soul' .. thus the focus for the working is the image of Madeleine's distinctive right eye pictured here ... it is so symbolic of the situation .... A visualisation here of seeing the eye in the image blinking. A sense of tuning in to a living breathing individual. Strangely and magically linked by way of this photograph. Using the will to find the means for the psychometric analysis of this special right eye to create a direct link to the locality of the little girl at this exact moment in time ... by day her distinctive right eye will blink perhaps a thousand times as Madeleine goes about her daily live in an unknown locality. Using the will to completely convince the awareness the connection is real and true at this point in time ...
In any 'act' of magic ... the 'force' which enables the 'ritual' to work is the strong sense of belief that it is real and it will work .... this 'experiment' is thus treated in the same way ...

There are clouds overhead. A yard or an enclosed space outside. Fresh air. A wooden gate and fence. The sense of dogs close by. 'aspin in the wall?' Aspinall? A tummy bug or is it an aversion to fish? Fish caught in a local stream or lake has a bearing here. Man with black hair and a cigarette ... fishing line. Watched a man with a fishing line in a boat offshore. Big stones and pebbles on a beach with little sand. A man with unkempt black hair has a bearing here ... watching every move. Safe. But like a watchman or guard. Cannot wander very far. This is much like a lake (or loch) ... with mountains in the distance ... but there are overcast clouds and chill ... a cold and a sniffle because of a cold breeze. Wiping a hand across a running nose. A cough. The man has a funny accent ... nothing like her own but can understand his words. He is quiet. A brown dog ... lean and agile on a rope lead permitted to run ... like a blood hound or even a Lurcher ... its running fast and is hunting. Rabbit. This is somewhere isolated. White building. Dirt track road. Up from a much bigger building. A track leads from the pebble beach to a trail? Towards the white buildings. Range Rovers or 4x4 parked there. There is a group of ... counts 10 or 12 people in total ... men and women and a child. Wearing woollens and woollen hats. Grey. They are a group. Together so often. Files and papers. Laptops. Into a warm room in the building. The little girl kept out of the way ... permitted to play. Then back into the back of the car. Along a bouncing trail .... great puddles of reddish brown mud on the trail ... the car drives through. Bends and twists. Black copter in the sky. Men with green tops now ... gates ... through to what has become 'home' ... long corridor ... wooden boards with carpet over it ... pictures. Wooden stairs. An old woman greets ... this face appears to be well known to the little girl ... familiar features.
Four 'Major arcana' images around the Star in the casting... 'The Tower, The Hermit, The Emperor and The Fool' ....
Not easily explained ... The Tower heralds the complete change in the life of 'The Shining Star' ... the total re-adjustment she has had to make. Isolation from the outside world and her family. Feeling rejected and unsure. Not aware of what is going on. But very accepting and very trusting. There seems to have been numerous individuals coming in and out of her life. She is strong ... very strong willed. A 'hot temper' ... not the easiest personality to be forced into doing things she does not want to do. There has not been cruelty directed at her ... but there have been a number of moments when she's been subdued and 'tricked' into those things she does not want to do. There is the sense of someone strict and matron like around her ... a constant 'discipline' it seems.
.... The Hermit relates to the sense of isolation around her. The re-adjustment and her learning a new way of life to what she had before. She is deemed the prized possession and the ways and the means to a prize ... the wren hidden in the eagle's wing about to fly even higher ... the sense again of the trojan horse. The kidnapping is the eagle ... apparently so ... the Wren not yet seen hidden beneath its wing ...
... The Emperor is most surely the controlling force behind the situation. Not the significator for GM in this instance ... but the ruling force within a family which controls the shots. The power which is at the central hub that dictates the situation.
... The Fool is the enigma here. Out of place seemingly in this working. Apparently ... but ... what I sense ... links The Emperor, The Fool and The Star together ... in the future ... behind the Emperor flies the very same Eagle referred to by the Hermit. It flies behind The Emperor. His back is turned. He is not permitted to see where it flies ... The Emperor bears in his possession some token or promise that The Star will be returned to him. It appears there is a sense of knowing around this working that The Star is indeed safe ... plus there is the wisdom that she will be returned. The Emperor is connected, by way of the tiled floor on which he sits at times, to those who orchestrated the kidnapping of The Star. There appear to be reverberations here ... not to pry in the affairs of those who have her ... and she will be returned safe. 'Turn an ignorant eye' ... do not decry any attention in our direction. Let us do what we must do and she will be returned. You do what is expected of you and there will be a happy ending. Put attention in our direction and we will make things difficult for you' ... a sense of blackmail perhaps?
