Sadly this was the last UK gig for Richie Blackmore. Although Steve Morse has been a fantastic replacement, Deep Purple have never quite been the same since Blackmore left ... the sheer power & energy of this opening track is quite phemomenal. Shades of Knebworth in 85' for me ... Highway Star is one of my favourite Purple tracks ....
