It's getting close .... the new English Premiership season begins in about 3 weeks. Sadly, we have no pet octopus installed in a aquarium in the house! So, as far as accurate predictions for the new season go, it will be touch and go! The King Of Cups? The King of the Cups in their hands? The Champion's League? Or is this the notion that Sir Alex's focus this season? The acquisition of players to attempt to attain this outcome? There appears to be an unexpected piece of good fortune ... but this is not evident at this stage. Holding the purse strings tight until ....? Will it be too late to ignite a somewhat average season?
