With most of Britain basking in glorious sunshine this weekend, you could be forgiven for heading down to the beach to enjoy the balmy temperatures. But forecasters have said the country unseasonably warm snap could end on Sunday with showers seeing sand hitting the country. A storm in the Sahara Desert earlier this week has sent a vast sand cloud into the atmosphere ....(Daily Mail) ...opinion: how coincidental!! We had exactly the same thing not long after the Chenobyl disaster back in the late 80's. There was a thin film of orange sand over everywhere when it rained back then ... and we were told is was because of a sand storm in the Sahara. Here we have the same scenario ... a nuclear fallout incident in Japan and a few weeks later a sand storm in the Sahara desert .....Coincidental ... or something else? (MJ)
