Two UFO reports describe 'unusual maneuvers' over Lees Summit, Missouri

Two UFO reports from Lee's Summit, MO, on October 3 and 4, 2011, describe unidentified objects making unusual maneuvers in the sky, according to October 4, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. A witness driving along Pryor Road about 8:30 p.m. on October 3, 2011, reports an object between 3,000 and 5,000 feet. "Once it was within maybe a half-mile of my location, I realized this was no plane," the witness stated. "I had my windows down and absolutely no sound coming from it." The witness described the object. "It had many white lights and some green ones. It crossed over the road and continued in a southeast direction maybe another 5-10 miles and then began turning back to the north." The witness telephone a daughter, who initially laughed at the idea of a UFO, but soon saw the object herself.  "It turned back to the north. It came into her view. She was about five miles northeast of me. She also was stunned and described the same thing back to me. Freaked us out." Then on October 4, 2011, a Missouri couple also in Lees Summit and driving along 350 Highway at 470 watched an object they first thought was an airplane make a sharp direction change. The object "turned completely sideways and showed a vast array of lights - white, green, blue flashing - in a pattern at first, and then quickly pulsating in a random pattern," the reporting witness stated.
