Managed retreat, also known as planned retreat, is a strategy
for responding to climate change and rising sea levels by relocating
people and assets out of harm’s way. It is a process where communities,
buildings, and infrastructure are gradually evacuated from areas
designated as uninhabitable or dangerous due to changing geology,
extreme weather, or climate change.
In Australia, this concept
is gaining traction as a necessary measure to mitigate the impacts of
climate change, particularly in coastal communities. In New Zealand,
managed retreat is becoming a necessary adaptation strategy to address
the impacts of climate change.
That’s the official narrative.
However,
independent researcher Kate Mason has exposed how this sinister scheme
is using exaggerated modelling of climate change effects to designate
certain areas as uninhabitable for humans. Properties in these areas
are uninsurable and prices are plummeting. Of course this would be the
result.
“Who is going to buy in a flood zone? Unless it’s a
developer who will raze it all to the ground and build a Smart Resilient
complex,” Mason said....<<<Read More>>>...
