So much speculation in the media. So few trails which can be gleaned as being totally truthful. Careful steps to disguise all which the mystery is about. Somewhere out there is one little girl who is the innocent victim in all of this confusion. One little girl who should be with her family.

Insights to glean the most likely trail taken by The Shining Star in the last 6 months since her disappearance.

I will not accept she has come to any harm or has been in the company of pedophiles. The energies around her do not have that sense at all. An overwhelming sense of care is associated with those who hold her. Almost a reverence ... a fascination. An understanding seems to have been forged.

The last image to be included in the working was the Prime of Weapons ... it is the significator for Madeleine McCann. One of two ... the other being the Star. As the Star I glean the significator relates to her family perspective of her. The child and the offspring very much lighting up the lives of those in her family. But, as the Flaming Sword, I sense a feeling of 'the commodity' ... that worth which she represents which led to her being taken. Instinctively when creating the sigil, I knew the lines were not to touch the flaming sword. Very much symbolic of Madeleine to remain unharmed by her custodians, those who look after her and have her in a hiding place out of the way; out of circulation. Great steps have been taken to hide her locality and also to cloak her survival. There has been a definite intention to confuse the outside world ... a subterfuge necessary for the entire plot around this situation it appears.

To the left and the right of the Flaming Sword we see The Jester ... the fool perhaps. Not in the journeyman sense of the word as implicated by The Fool trump at the top left of the working; but as the literal fool. The risk taker. The one who is perhaps the cause or the effect of the situation. Something having been given by the Blond woman in the Giver of Spheres. The instruction ... or the reason for her taking. The event and the circumstances. It comes round to the representation of the sphere again. Is it as literal as a human egg and thus DNA ... or is it the actual instruction for Maddy to be taken.

Whatever it is ... Madeleine's survival has been the essential thing. Something key has been disregarded. The reason she has been taken is certainly not for a pedo ring. It is certainly not to end her life. That is sensed strongly. I have the feeling of borrowing once more ... a sense of observing her or the events that would unfold with her disappearance. The Flaming Sword is most certainly something of worth. In mythical tales there is a significance of the flaming sword and the bearer of such being at the gates of Eden. Taking this symbolism as a literal thing makes Madeleine even more of significant worth. Someone clearly knew her significance ... knew her circumstances ... and may well of known what her significance would be?

Hence the 7 of Spheres and the fool specifically choosing a certain sphere. The identical same sphere as the one instructed in the Giver of Spheres. Madeleine I feel was taken to order ... The Fool represents her 'spiritual' journey ... a significant journey. Something planned and executed by organisations represented by The Magician ... perhaps. Someone with medical knowledge and also significant influence to enable Madeleine to be taken and the enduring circumstances signified by the Hanged Man to take place.

The crystals in the casting appear to emulate a vibration of healing and a sense of compassion. No malice or violence is emphasised here. Also the sense it was always intended to have her returned. The 8 of Spheres and the 10 of Spheres indicates the confusion which is around it all ... attention on certain places to permit Madeleine to travel and slip through the net with all eyes on different places. It appears this is currently the case too ... the Ten of Spheres shows all the most recent 'sightings' ... a sense there is perhaps indeed ten in total. The way the end of the trail points to a crystal fallen on one of the potted spheres ... suggests that one is indeed Madeleine McCann. The potted nature of the spheres suggests the sightings are all contrived and all necessary for the storyline. The reaching influence to create this mystery is huge and the necessity with which Madeleine was taken is immense. I sense the need to research either the place where Maddy was born or where the IVF technique was undertaken. Some part of her medical history seems to be key to this. If anything is different or significant with Maddy this may be significant too. Her distinctive eye cannot be disregarded as part and parcel of these events. The way in which I constantly sense the involvement of Knights of medicine ... I wonder if Madeleine is in someway being monitored or observed?

The nine of Staves represents the barriers between Madeleine and her re-emergence. Really now the sequence at the base of the cards ... the SEVEN of Spheres down to the EIGHT of Spheres to the NINE of Staves and then the TEN of Spheres ... the unintentional laying out of the cards in this order ... there is that sequence again 7,8.9.10 .... 7 months, 8 months, 9 months and the maximum of 10 months ... it appears of significance again.

I grasp now the life which has temporarily been created for Madeleine in her absence from her family. Another family in which she lives ... normality as much is possible for her to live and breathe and thrive. I wonder how this family was chosen for her to be part of. A sense perhaps this insight suggests she has been taken to order ... chosen by someone influential to sell to a family for her to become another child to them .. it may suggest this indeed; but I sense in truth the family was chosen to be her surrogate family whilst she was away from her real family. There is nothing permanent about this arrangement it seems. They know she is to be returned after an agreed length of time.

The signs are around that messages are being passed from the perpetrators to the custodians to the outside world. Myth busting is taking place. The misery of 'the DNA and the body' speculation reaches out to those who are her custodians. They are powerless to make contact with the McCanns but they have sufficient influence it seems in order for 'signs' to appear that Maddy is alive. They may even have sufficient influence to be permitted to have her sighted in places for the news of those sightings to reach the outside world.

There is a sense of co-operation between perpetrators and custodians. The perpetrators having eyes and ears around the McCanns to gauge events and reactions ... and to know the movements of intelligence agencies who they know track the locality of the custodians. Thus it is the role of those somewhere close to influence the media agencies and the like to make sure that news reports and sightings are in locations in places far away from where she resides.

The spheres of influence are far and wide ... the implications great for those in echelons of power. What this situation represents is more deep rooted than perhaps can be ever comprehended. It is most certainly not a simple case of abduction ... those who perpetrated this pose a threat to higher echelons and their well established networks of trafficking and the like. There is a cover here to this mystery ... something of great significance going on behind the scenes.

Glamours

A glamour is a subjective event. Glamours don't actually change the physical appearance. Instead, they alter how you project yourself and the impressions you leave (or allow you not to leave none at all). With a glamour you can temporarily leave the impression that you are extremely attractive, taller, shorter, etc. Glamours are most effective upon strangers, and not everyone is susceptible to them.

Is it possible to change your eye colour with a spell? No. But with a glamour someone may remember you as having a different eye colour than you do. Again, it is a temporary thing.

Cernunnos

Cernunnos is the mysterious horned deity worshipped by Iron age Celts across Europe until the end of the first century. Very little is known about Cernunnos except his name and his image, which appears on numerous stonecarvings and other artifacts throughout Europe. He appears crowned with stag's antlers, is often seated in a meditative position, and is almost always depicted with images of wild animals.

His Celtic name is unknown, although he may be associated with Derg Corra, the early Celtic "Man in the Tree." Cernunnos is a Roman name meaning "horned one." He is often associated with Herne the hunter, a character of British folk myth, and the "Green man" of European architecture. Roman invaders associated Cernunnos with the god Mercury. He is later associated with "Herne the hunter," of European legend, and his appearance was eventually adapted as the Christian Devil's.

The image which appears above is from the "Gundestrup Cauldron," a ritual object of unknown use discovered in pieces in a peat bog in Denmark.

The Vibratory Formula

Throughout the various Western Traditions of magick there are a large body of rituals and ritual tools that are used to work the systems of magick. One of these tools is the Vibratory Formula. This formula, or tool that the practicing magician uses first came to the attention of the modern magician in the early 20th century with the various writings of people like Aleister Crowley and Israel Regardie.

It is through these people that a large group of the current systems used today were influenced. These groups consist of such a diverse grouping as to include the majority of the Ceremonial Magicians (Golden Dawn, Thelemic, neo-Egyptian, Kabbalistic, Ogdoadic, and Hermetic) and some of the Wiccans, particularly those in the Gardnerian, Alexandrian, and some of the other ecclectic Wiccan traditions.

Much of the use of Ceremonial Magic in the Wiccan systems is through the influence of both Crowley and Regardie, both whom were trained by the Golden Dawn or one of its later offshoot Orders.

There are few subjects that are more misunderstood in the Western Ceremonial systems of magick than that of the vibratory formula.

The power of the voice in conjunction with magick dates back to the earliest records on the subject and before. The most prominent place historically linked with the use of words in magick is, of course, ancient Egypt. It is here that we have many texts on the subject that have now been translated from hieroglyphics, and there was a system of magick specifically relating to the use of words. This system was called heka, which was derived from the god Hekau, the author of spells, incantations, and words of bewitchment.Egypt is considered the cradle of the Hermetic Tradition of the Western Mystery Tradition, and has influenced many other ancient traditions like the Kabbalah and some of the Greek Traditions, as well as, a number of the modern traditions.

In nearly every book on ceremonial magick, as well as in a couple of the primary works in Wicca, the vibratory formulae are mentioned. That's correct, formulae. There are really more that just one way to use this potent tool. There are at least three different way to use the art of vibrating the proper words of power. As a rule, the Vibratory Formula can be defined as follows:

A method by which divine names and words are intoned forcefully and with authority in a "vibration." Properly performed, the vibration should be felt throughout the entire body and imagined to be vibrated throughout the universe.

In vibrating the Divine Names, the Operator should first of all rise as high as possible towards the idea of the Divine White Brilliance in KETHER - keeping the mind raised to the plane of the loftiest aspiration. Unless this is done, it is dangerous to vibrate only with the astral forces, because the vibration attracts a certain force to the operator, and the nature of the force attracted rests largely on the condition of mind in which the operator is.

The ordinary mode of vibrating is as follows:

Take a deep and full inspiration and concentrate your consciousness in your heart, which answers to Tiphareth. (Having first, as already said, ascended to your Kether, you should endeavor to bring down the white Brilliance into your heart, prior to centering your consciousness there.)

Then formulate the letters of the Name required in your heart, in white, and feel them written there. Be sure to formulate the letters in brilliant white light, not merely in dull whiteness as the colour of the Apas Tattwa. Then, emitting the breath, slowly pronounce the Letters so that the sound vibrates within you, and imagine that the breath, while quitting the body, swells you so as to fill up space.

Pronounce the Name as if you were vibrating it through the whole Universe, and as if it did not stop until it reached the further limits.

All practical occult work which is of any use, tires the operator or withdraws some magnetism, therefore, if you wish to do anything that is at all important, you must be in perfect magnetic and nervous condition, or else you will do evil instead of good.

When you are using a Name and drawing a Sigil from the Rose, you must remember that the Sephirah to which the Rose and Cross are referred, is Tiphareth, whose position answers to the position of the heart, as if the Rose were therein. It is not always necessary to formulate before you in space the telematic angelic figure of the Name. As a general rule, pronounce the Name as many times as there are letters in it.

The name having been inhaled into the lungs by means of an inspiration, it should be silently and powerfully vibrated, the entire attention being concentrated upon this to the exclusion of all else. While in the lungs, the white light of the Kether ought to be felt descending upon the name, consecrating it to the service of the higher self. Then the name should be visualized, whilst the breath is retained, as descending from the lungs via the Middle Pillar to the feet.

Here it should be again vibrated very powerfully. When the entire Tree of Life within is pulsating sympathetically to this vibration, the name rises rapidly once more to the lungs where once more it is subjected to a silent vibration.

The exhalation of the breath accompanies an audible vibration of the name. It also accompanies a gesture to be made which consists of two movements. The first is the placing of the left foot about six to twelve inches forward. The second is the raising of both hands to the side of the head, on a level with the eyes, and then flinging them forward as though to project a force emanating from within. As the arms are flung forward, the exhalation and powerful vibration aloud of the name takes place. This gesture is called the Projecting Sign. (More ...)

Maddie DNA clue in airport bag ( ??)

A bag of clothes containing DNA linked to Madeleine McCann has been found dumped by a road in Portugal. The white carrier bag was discovered in a layby two weeks ago near Faro airport.

Maddie's parents Kate and Gerry McCann have learned the bag contained a blue fleece jacket and a pair of adult jeans with traces of DNA that contained "moderate" links to the missing four-year-old.

The bag, found by a passer-by, was sent to a UK lab in Birmingham for forensic tests. A leaked report showed experts concluded the clothes contained bodily fluid and traces of hair that could have come from Maddie.

Other items recovered from the bag included a white flannel, a green elastic band, a light green child's T-shirt with a green flower on the front and a pink and blue pencil case with a pink heart motif.

A source said: "The bag could be crucial. The DNA isn't an exact match to Maddie's, but it does link. It is the first clue found outside the apartment complex and could provide a trail."

The report—which was handed to detectives ten days concluded: "The blue fleece and jeans were found to contain traces of congealed skin and hair. They were found to contain DNA characteristics that could be attributed to Madeleine McCann. No traces of Maddie's DNA were found on any of the other items.

The fresh clues will give Kate and Gerry, both 39, renewed hope of finding their daughter alive six months after she disappeared. Last night a friend of the McCanns said: "It potentially suggests that someone has taken her then disposed of the clothing. They have done it near Faro which could imply they have gone in the direction of the airport. It backs up the idea she was abducted." (News of the World)

The three of weapons is the only reference, of the three insights, to Madeleine. No Star image ...but one of the three swords is the Flaming Sword. A placement of this sword through the heart in the imagery of the 3 of Weapons ... by one of the three ... aware perhaps that the bag would be discovered and the reaction of the watching 'eyes' that would follow. The 5 of Staves indicates the conflict this find could cause in relation to everything else at this time. The User of Staves indicates the continued efforts of the 'hand of the Unicorn' against the dark force which it fights. A sense this find may be used to force someone's hand. May be not what it seems. Certainly a move by one of 'the three' who I sense are behind the disappearance ... a false trail ... or one of the clues from them to indicate that Madeleine is certainly alive .... the find appears to have been deliberately placed where it was found in order for the resultant speculation this find would create.

What IS the secret of Silbury Hill?

The hill is actually a truncated grass covered pyramid about 120ft high and more than 600ft across, weighing an estimated half a million tonnes. Silbury, just south of Avebury, took more than 100 years to build and work began, according to the radiometric dating that has been carried out on bits of vegetation and other material recovered from its innards, about 4,400 years ago.

Over the centuries, various lunatics have riddled the ancient chalk construction with tunnels, mostly in an attempt to find treasure.

The latest was in 1968 and was at, quite extraordinarily, the behest of the BBC. They hacked into this unique national treasure with impunity to make a series of gimmicky history programmes. They even built a recording studio in there.

When Silbury started caving in on itself a few years ago, a plan was hatched to repair the damage by pouring in hundreds of tons of chalk paste to fill the voids. By the start of next year Silbury should be safe, its voids filled, making now about the last time anyone will be able to venture down the tunnels.

Modern genetic analysis reveals that after the ice-age glaciers receded from Britain about 8-10,000 years ago, these islands were repopulated by probably two waves of peoples - one from what is now Spain and Portugal, the other from the north and east, from what is now Denmark and Norway.

And it is from these peoples, who built Silbury and Stonehenge, that most British people today are descended.

But as to why our ancestors built these huge monuments, we can only guess. Stonehenge was certainly some sort of astronomical instrument - and the various standing stones not only of Wiltshire but further west in Cornwall and to the far south in Brittany, France, may similarly have served some sort of astronomical purpose.

But Silbury? The official line from Jim Leary and his colleagues is that it must have been inspired by "ritual". The trouble is, this is pretty much what archaeologists always say when faced with an object they don't understand: it must have something to do with religion.

"This is a big ceremonial mound," Leary insists. "It's not a big clock, it wasn't built for a bit of a laugh, or to give people something to do."

He points to the fact that there is none of the usual random detritus and debris associated with ancient secular building projects - no discarded meat bones, no ash from fires, bits of pottery and so on. "This suggests that the site was always treated with some reverence."

In addition, large, solid "sarsen" stones (boulders similar to those at Stonehenge) have been found embedded in the chalk; one theory is that these represent the souls of the dead.

Maybe the whole thing is a sort of "virtual mausoleum". That's the current theory. But there have been a whole host of rather more outlandish ideas concerning Silbury over the years.

A long-standing legend holds that the hill is the tomb of King Sil, a statue of whom (in gold) supposedly lurks in a secret chamber to this day. This mistaken belief that, like the Pyramids, Silbury Hill is full of treasure led to a series of attempts to dig into the mound, beginning when a team of Cornish miners were recruited by the Duke of Northumberland in 1776 to dig vertically into the hill from its summit.

In the 19th century, more tunnels were dug in the quest to find a hidden chamber. Then in 1968 a huge series of corridors and chambers were excavated as part of that BBC project, in what can only be described as an act of archaeological vandalism. No treasure was ever found, but that did not stop the speculation. In fact, a delightfully bonkers belief system has arisen in recent decades which attempts to link ancient sites like Silbury and the Pyramids in Egypt with alien visitations, and even structures on the surface of Mars. More UFOs are "seen" round here than anywhere else in Europe.

Barring a massive earthquake or a meteor strike, Silbury will probably be here for another 4,000 years and who knows what archaeologists then will make of the strange tunnels that were dug and then, only a few decades later, filled in. No doubt they will come up with as many theories to explain our actions as we do to explain what went on more than four millennia ago. And no doubt they will bear just as little relation to the truth. (Daily Mail)

William Gallas equalised in injury-time to salvage a draw and keep Arsenal on top of the Premier League after an absorbing clash with Manchester United. Gallas turned Wayne Rooney's half-hit effort into his own goal on the stroke of half time to give United the lead.

'Madeleine Is Out There Somewhere'

Sky News Headline: says: 'The parents of missing Madeleine McCann have been to church to say prayers six months after the four-year-old disappeared.

Kate and Gerry McCann, both 39, arrived at the St Mary and St John church near their home in Rothley, Leicestershire, to join friends and villagers in a vigil for Madeleine.

They held hands as they walked into the14th Century church just before 9.30pm - the time Madeleine vanished while the family was on holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal.

Prayers were said for her by Rothley vicar the Rev Rob Gladston - and scores of locals joined the McCanns in the church. Family friend Val Armstrong said: "They are so resolute in this. They are convinced that she is still alive and that is what we have to believe. I didn't think that we would still be here six months down the line. We pray every day and we'll continue to pray. Madeleine is just a little girl from our village as far as we are concerned."

A spokesman for the McCanns said the visit to the church was not part of any campaign to keep Madeleine's name in the public eye. He said: "They are here to say prayers and nothing else. For them this is just another day without Madeleine."

Earlier Kate McCann made a fresh appeal for information about Madeleine.

She said: "Six months is such a long time for a little girl to be separated from her family. We believe that our Madeleine is out there somewhere and retain hope that we can be reunited. Madeleine is a beautiful little person who deserves a loving and happy life."

Kate urged anyone with information to call a phone line manned by private detectives on 0034 902 300213.

The 12.45pm kick-off time between English football's two most exciting sides slots perfectly into mid-evening in the football-obsessed Far East, which should send the viewing figures spiralling.

Beyond Cause And Effect

Magic is synonymous with what Jung calls "synchronicity." Carl Jung, in his introduction to the Wilhelm/Baynes edition of the I Ching, Jung says that when we successfully consult this Chinese oracle (which we may consider an act of magic) we are experiencing the principle which he termed "synchronicity."

Synchronicity is defined by Jung as a meaningful coincidence of an external event with a psychic event, such as a dream, fantasy, or thought. These events coincide in time in a way that gives them meaning for the observer. That is, they seem like communications between a divine force and ourselves, and they confirm that there is a connection or interaction between our psyche and physical reality.

Jung gives a personal example of synchronicity in his memoirs, Memories, Dreams, Reflections. First, he describes a dream that leads up to the incident. In the dream, he was introduced, for the first time, to his inner mentor archetype, a wise old man that he called Philemon. Philemon took the form of a Hellenistic Gnostic who wore an ankle-length robe, had a long gray beard, and had the colorful wings of a kingfisher. The following quote describes an event that took place a few days after the dream, while Jung tried to capture Philemon's image in a painting:

We can see that the event described had a magical quality for Jung. It might seem that Philemon had sent the kingfisher to Jung to confirm his existence, but Jung feels that these occurrences are not part of a cause and effect relationship. Instead, he insists that they are acausal acts of pure creation.

He adds that when synchronicity happens an archetype - such as the internal mentor - is activated, but we should not think of the archetype as causing synchronicity.

Synchronicity is simply what happens when the archetype emerges into consciousness. With this, we are breaking with the previous definitions of magic. They all try to define magic as a cause and effect relationship instigated by the magician. This is typical of our culture, which is predisposed to view all events as cause and effect. However, here we are coming to a deeper and more profound view of reality. This is where magic lives and this is why it is connected to the quest for higher consciousness.

It seems that if we are going to understand fully what is meant here we must also define Jung's term "archetype." Archetype is a term that Jung borrowed from Plato. Plato was searching for what is real and constant in the world - he felt that these two terms should be interchangeable. As a result, he did not trust his five senses to give him accurate information about reality - the exact opposite viewpoint from modern empirical science. Instead, he reasoned that the sensual world was entirely composed of temporary, time-bound objects and that the forms or patterns that these objects posses are timeless and therefore real. These are the archetypes.

In other words, if we look at our house cat what we are seeing is a creature that will die and disappear in a brief instant when its life span is compared to all of eternity. Yet, this cat contains a form that we can distinguish from other animals and that we can see is consistent with others of its species. If allowed to reproduce, it will pass this form onto its offspring, and they, in turn, will pass it onto their offspring. This form is like an immortal or divine cat, because as long as there are cats, it will not die - this is what Plato calls the real cat or archetype. The real cat is the actual intelligence responsible for the direction of the individual cat's life. We tend to call the decisions that it makes for the individual cat instinct or intuition.

Humans are caught in the same illusions about themselves as they are about other animals. The part of themselves that identifies with this individual physical life is what Jung calls the ego. The ego thinks that it is in charge because it can manipulate the world to attain its desires, but it can not decide what to desire. This decision is made for it by the real self.

Plato said that number is the bases of form and the essence of the archetypes. This view is confirmed by modern scientists who have discovered that this archetypal form is communicated to each living creature through a numerical pattern of molecules, called DNA, which are contained in the center of each cell. It would seem that science has found an empirical location for the acualization of the archetypal self.

When Jung explored the unconscious mind, he discovered that at its deepest layer there emerged psychic patterns or personalities that were the same in all individuals and that can be found in religions and myths in all peoples throughout time. He called these the archetypes. At the deepest level of the unconscious, he, like the quantum physicist exploring matter, found that he lost sight of the archetypes as they merged into the vast sea of the collective unconscious. For this, he used the alchemical term "Unus Mundus".

When we use an oracle, such as the I Ching or the Tarot, we bring these unconscious archetypes into consciousness through the use of symbols. The archetypes, or we may call them the Gods, are a more immediate manifestation of the place where the patterns are being formed that will become our future physical reality. Therefore, this gives us the opportunity to intervene and create the future that we desire. This brings us back to the initial problem of defining magic.

When we perform magic, we use symbols to manipulate the inner world of the psyche, and thereby, change happens in the outer physical world. When we succeed in doing this, the changes seem miraculous - that is they seem to happen outside of the normal cause and effect relationships of the physical world or to intervene in them in some mysterious way. By using symbols to manipulate the psyche we are activating the archetypes - in fact in many magic rituals we deliberately contact them as gods, angels, or demons. Therefore, the magical event is the manifestation of an archetype, in other words, synchronicity.

I'd actually forgotten that it was exactly a year to the day that I first posted on A Light In The Darkness. Happy Birthday A Light In The Darkness!! And we did NOTHING to celebrate this significant event! No special tea (it was one of our homemade Lamb Curries ... we make our own because the curries here are CRAP) ... nothing out of the ordinary ..

Daily Merlin: 'The High Priestess' Once More ..

Daily Merlin Insight (Using Merlin Tarot)

Following on from last night's Daily Merlin insight, I'm focussing specifically on the Priestess image which was positioned above the Hermit in the image in order to perceive the identity of this personality ... and the likely circumstances surrounded this personality.

The first observation of note with this working is the King & Queen Of Fishes. A Husband and Wife team ... as I have always intuited when the king and queen of the same suit appear in a reading.

The second observation to be made is the Warrior of Birds and the 3 of Birds to the left and the right of the Priestess. Indications of conflict and inflicting suffering ... the conflict arrow is pointed at the Priestess in the working. It is as a result of something the Priestess has caused.

The third observation of note is the commencement of the line of crystals from the Judgement image, down past the Priestess and all the way down to a point between the Queen of Fishes and the King of Fishes ... thus the situation perhaps should be intuited that the pink stone at the bottom of the trail ... the stone of 'amour amour' perhaps represents something which the Priestess has which could split the Queen and the King. Maybe the Priestess has had a romantic liason with this King Of Fishes? At the top of the line, the first crystal is that of Hematite ... linked to 'blood' ... linked to lineage and DNA? The Judgement of a situation perhaps linked.

Interestingly the lines of crystals point towards two coastlines which intuition has recognised. What 'lies' between the line of crystals on the left and the line on the right is 'The Irish Sea' ... I intuit the pattern made to be the coastline of the UK mainland on the right and that of Ireland on the left. Somehow, the Warrior of Birds ... is directing a conflict at the Priestess who resides in the Uk ... the Warrior resides in Ireland (note: their positions in relation to the shorelines can only be approximated. I sense their localities clairvoyantly).

Thus the Priestess appears to have links and connections with something of significance as I have intuited several times before. Though influential herself there is also someone at a higher level who is aware of her 'infidelity' and perhaps can use it to mould her thinking to that of theirs? This is speculative only ... but if The Priestess is someone who lives and breathes in the world of media and steps occasionally into the realm of politics ... there is something here of significance indeed.

So the question is ... who is she? And how does she link with the Madeleine McCann case? Who too are the King & Queen of Fishes .... and how do they link with the case too?

The images of the 4 of Birds (truce) and 6 of Serpents (balance) indicate something being used to rectify the situation. The Priestess may not be directly involved ... though the card of Truce touches the Priestess card no crystals make their way between the two. She is aware of the two sides perhaps in the situation again as I've insighted before, she knows of the 'abductor' plus she has a connection with those central to the campaign. I intuit too that the KIng & Queen are perhaps close to the McCanns.

Now the fourth observation to note ... is the tiny fragment of Fools Gold to the left of the working .. touching on the Warrior of Birds ... someone somewhere in Ireland ... part of the deception and part of the illusion. The Priestess is firmly linked to someone big and influential who links also with the significance in Southern Ireland.

It seems the Priestess has family links or ties in Ireland. It may possibly be her heritage ... if not it is a link through marriage in her family. The Priestess has a knowledge of the occult and seems truly to be someone who has a compelling nature ... in order for her to be able to stand between the Queen & King of Fishes. Dangerous liaisons it seems ...

The KIng of Fishes bears the empty chalice ... his face is directly on the observers. He is in the public eye ... he appears determined to forget what took place in the past ... but the link with the Priestess seems to originate from the Queen of Fishes ... simply because the trail of crystals leads between the Priestess and the Queen of Fishes. Thus I glean that the Priestess has been a close associate of the Queen for some time. A green stone of trust lies above the Queen of Fishes's head ... trust Priestess ... the question is ... does the Queen of Fishes know of the liaison between the Priestess and the King Of Fishes.

The King & Queen of are the suit of water. Of emotion. They exist within a world of water at this time. Perhaps equating to the world of crescents .... the false world around the situation. The emotional tides of public opinion lie behind them .. they try to ignore them ... but behind them there is the Priestess ... a woman who at best cannot be trusted even if the Priestess seems to be loyal and friendly to them .... aware of the instigators of the suffering and the conflict ... victims of a conflict herself ... perhaps on the receiving end of the same connections who are behind the conflict that has caused the taking of Maddy McCann?

The interesting thing to watch out for in the coming weeks is the appearance of a significant woman in the Madeleine McCann mystery .... someone who has not been seen in the public eye for a while ... what then?

We're Closing In On Morocco Hideaway

Daily Express Headline; says: 'Detectives are closing in on the secret hideaway where they are convinced Madeleine McCann is being held. The Daily Express can reveal that the private investigators are concentrating their search on a remote region in the north of Morocco.

A highly placed source close to the team said last night: "We are confident we are near to finding Madeleine alive _ we're on our way to get her."

The agents are combing villages in the Rif Mountains for the four-year-old, who disappeared six months ago.The source told the Daily Express: "we have investigators on the ground scouring the countryside. They have been chasing up leads for the past five weeks.We are following up new sightings of a girl looking like Madeleine which have come in recently. We have been concentrating on one particular area but I cannot say where it is because I don’t want to damage the trust we have built up there. We are on our way to get Madeleine out alive.”

The latest lead follows two fresh sightings of a blonde girl by peasants. The new reports confirm earlier claims that she is living with a middle-class Arab family who may be holding her on the orders of others.

Majid Jazoili, 43, told the Daily Express: “Two people I know saw a picture I carry with me of Madeleine McCann. They told me they had seen her with a family who live in a tiny village in the Rif Mountains. There are three women with daughters who each have a family of their own. There is also a grandfather who lives with them in the same house and lots of children."

But the dossier, which has been seen by the Daily Express, remains painfully thin, despite at least 10 separate accounts from people claiming that they have seen Madeleine in recent weeks.

The scant information is held in a manilla folder, with the words Information de l’Affaire Madeleine McCann hand-written in French in black ink. The A4 folder holds about a dozen pieces of white paper, containing statements and observations typed in Arabic and stamped with an official police seal.

The deputy chief of police at Tetouan, Said Aloua, said: “We are in contact with Interpol and other police forces.”

The Shadow Self

Carl Jung defined the Shadow Self as "that which we think we are not." In the process of becoming All that Is, that which we think we are not must be embraced as an aspect of the Greater Self, and integrated.

You may believe that you are not like your neighbour who does this or that bad thing, but if those negative qualities you judge, were not also a part of you, then they would not trigger your emotions.

You may believe that you are a spiritual person who is not cruel or unjust, but that belief is a blockage that casts a shadow that can blind you to the cruelty within your ego that is hidden. The shadow shows the "Ugly Mirror of All that Is": you are what you judge yourself not to be. You are what you judge others to be.

We all have a shadow, and that shadow is a force that is both creative and destructive. We all have an inner demon who can be the violent eruption of represed anger that makes a crime of passion, or the companion to a passionate life that makes skydiving fun because it is scary.

If the Divine Beloved is the representative of God-dess Light within, the Shadow is the reflection of the dark wall of Karma that separates you from knowing yourself as Light. It is a reflection, a dark mirror of Karma. It can perhaps best be understood, in Shamanic terms, as the Portal Guardian.

The Portal Guardian is a creature of non-dual light, unconditional love manifest. It has no duality of its own, no emotions... it is pure light. However, in order to descend into duality-space where humans live, it must have shadow, and since it has no shades of gray within itself, it often first appears as a negative polarised image of darkest shadow. However, it truly has no darkness of its own, its is simply a reflection of your own fears, your Karma. It reflects your dark side.

It is the Shadow that teaches what is hidden on the dark side of the moon. The Shadow is the voice of your conscience, reminding you of what is unforgiven. It may show up, when you are making judgments of someone else, to remind you of how you are the same as what you judge. When you make judgments of another, you are projecting your own Shadows onto them. You are seeing a reflection of your own inner judgments, not the Divine Perfection within them.

The Portal guardian is the boundary between your conscious and unconscious mind. It is the protector who keeps you from being overwhelmed by all of your memories at once, by all of the archetypes and minds of the collective consciousness,

...and it is the Gatekeeper who decides what memories are allowed to surface into your consciousness. Some people have to learn to love the Gatekeeper unconditionally before we find access to the Twin soul of the Divine Beloved.

You know the old expressions, "the Devil made me do it"... this expression is a cop-out line for people who are unwilling to take responsibility for their actions, unwilling to admit to the hidden, inner fears and desires that motivate their actions. There is no big bad guy prince of evil. There is no supreme lord of all darkness. Nothing like that. Why would Unconditional love make a being whose only purpose is to make your life miserable?? That makes no sense... There is no Satan.

What there is, is an inner aspect of your own Divinity, whose job it is to reflect your fears and doubts back at you so you may forgive them. People make their own demons, when they refuse to see love in the nagging voices of conscience and worry. The voice of the inner critic who shows you the fearful beliefs that are the content of your Karma. There are only humans, being human, acting from fear instead of love... making their own demons.

Demon comes from the Latin "Daemon", which means "inner self". The Divine Beloved is Love. The Shadow is love, too... but it is unconditional love, tough love that spanks. Unconditional love as energy, not emotion. (Kundalini Teacher)

A Clear Current

The essence of all being is energy. Our physical and ethereal selves depend on the unrestricted flow of life energy that is the source of wholeness and wellness. Though the channels through which this energy flows are open systems and influenced by factors outside of our control, we ultimately choose what impact these will have in our lives. It is up to us to identify and clear blockages in the energy field to ensure that flow is maintained.

A healthy, grounded individual absorbs some portion of the energy emitted by other people and the environment, but this does not interrupt the continuous stream of balanced energy sustaining them. The same individual copes constructively with stress and upset, and they are not subject to the stagnation that frequently goes hand in hand with negativity. When we keep the energy in and around our bodies flowing harmoniously, we are naturally healthy, vibrant, and peaceful.

Life energy flows through us like a swift stream when there is nothing to obstruct it, but various forces such as trauma, downbeat vibrations, and disappointments act like stones that impede the current. If we allow these to pile up, our life energy is thrown off its course or blocked entirely, causing illness, restlessness, and a lack of vigor.

If, however, we take the time to clear these forces away, we rob them of the power to impact our lives. When we cultivate simple yet affirmative habits such as taking regular cleansing baths, practicing meditation and breathing exercises, smudging, and self-shielding, we protect ourselves from outside influences that might otherwise impede our energy flow. Likewise, we lessen the impact of inner influences when we clear our auras of unwanted attachments and divest ourselves of blocked emotions.

A strong and fluid energy field is the key that unlocks the doors of self-healing and peace of mind. Your awareness of the flow of energy sustaining you empowers you to take charge of your own well-being by taking steps to unblock, correct, and enhance that flow. Fear will likely be the culprit when you cannot identify the source of stagnation—you may simply be afraid to let go of what is obstructing the flow. Letting go can be challenging, but the exuberance you will feel when the flow is restored will be a welcome and blessed reward.

Sigil Symbolism

The above Sigil is inspired by two Daily Merlin Insights around 24th October 2007. The sense that two crystal castings were to be incorporated into one sigil design was felt very strongly. The addition of the two circles ... the Vesica Pisces ... was intuited as a necessary part of the design. It apparently adds the 'sacred site' or 'religious significance' to the likely locality of the Shining Star which is depicted by the sigil at the very centre of the design.

Many churches and sacred sites are based on the geometry of the Vesica Pisces symbol. The symbol represents the union of consciousness and unconsciousness and could perhaps act as a focus for the locating of the Shining Star by RV (remote viewing) means ....

Madeleine Plea Marks 6 Months

Daily Star Headline; says 'The mother of Madeleine McCann has made a fresh appeal for information about her daughter, on the six-month anniversary of the four-year-old's disappearance.

In a statement, Kate McCann said: "Six months is such a long time for a little girl to be separated from her family. We believe that our Madeleine is out there somewhere and retain hope that we can be reunited. Madeleine is a beautiful little person who deserves a loving and happy life. To ensure this, there is no doubt that the best place for her to to be is with her family. We know somebody somewhere can make this happen. That person has the ability and power to bring about so much joy as well as bring peace to themselves. If you have any information relating to Madeleine's disappearance or whereabouts please pass it on."

The McCanns will mark the six-month anniversary by taking part in an ecumenical prayer service at the Church of St Mary and St John in Rothley.

Special prayers will be said for Madeleine and other missing children between 9.30pm and 9.45pm - six months to the minute since her apparent abduction.

Power Animals: The Camel

The camel is powerful and strong. It is focused and determined. If this is your totem don't expect it to gently nudge you in the right direction. The camel will shove you into the darkness and demand that you use your inner resources to survive, grow and awaken..

Camels have double rows of protective eye lashes which shield their eyes from the wind blown desert. Haired ear openings and the ability to close the nostrils at will enable them to live in harsh conditions. This symbolises the ability to see, hear and smell clearly without being distracted by outside influences. The camel helps us awaken our clairvoyant and clairaudient abilities by showing us how to remain centered in any circumstance.

The camel is a unique creature that demands respect. Its long lanky legs, the humps on its back and its big protruding eyes give it an unusual appearance. The hump of a camel has one main purpose. It stores fat. This fat is drawn upon for sustenance when food is scarce. Camels can also manufacture water by oxidation of that fat. They flourish on the coarsest of sparse vegetation and have been known to survive without water for up to 17 days. Occasional fasting to eliminate toxins from the body would benefit those with this totem. Camels are masters at survival and hold the teaching of resourcefulness. They can show us how to make the most out of whatever resources we have.

Past life ties associated with the high courts of Egypt and Rome have a strong influence on those with this totem. In their present life they will not tolerate unjust acts of any kind. If they maintain a balanced consciousness and keep their tempers under control they can excel in any career that incorporates justice and equality.

Although docile when properly handled, the camel is prone to fits of rage if mistreated. They demand respect and will get it. Their powerful legs kick dangerously, they can also spit and bite. Symbolically these actions remind us to honour all forms of life and to treat everyone and everything fairly.

The golden orange color of the camel also has significance. A color of vitality it has long been associated with the emotional chakra of earth and her human inhabitants. It can transform, purify and heal emotional discord. The golden ray is believed to be the colour of transfiguration. Transfiguration of cellular structure is possible when this color is applied in personal healing rituals. Because the camel has clear sight and acute hearing it can be a powerful ally for those willing to go the distance to transmute all imperfections.

Question Me: 'Mara Gamiel'

'I noticed the web address for A Light In The Darkness incorporates the name Mara Gamiel ... I would be interested to know the significance of this name' (Ainsley Peters, Toronto, Canada)

I consider this a really good subject for a 'Question Me'. The answer to this question is really very simple. I did NOT intend to use the name Mara Gamiel. It is a permutation of Marah Gimel that somehow 'appeared' at the time I created the Blog exactly a year ago today.

It was only after I'd registered the Blog and come to use the web address that I realised the 'error'. I elected to leave it as it was sensing it was not a mistake but by design that the A Light In The Darkness acquired this web address!

Somehow the 'H' was omitted out of the Marah and the 'A' appeared plus the 'I' and the 'M' switched position. Very odd in truth. 'Divine intervention' perhaps. I researched both Mara and Gamiel at the time and decided the 'result' of this divine intervention was 'interesting':

Mara
In Buddhism there is a reference to Devaputra-mara, or Mara the son of a deva (god), that is, Mara as an objectively existent being rather than as a metaphor. Mara is described both as an entity having a literal existence, just as the various deities of the Vedic pantheon are shown existing around the Buddha, and also is described as a primarily psychological force - a metaphor for various processes of doubt and temptation that obstruct religious practice.

Gamiel
The Celestials are fictional characters in the Marvel Universe. Gamiel (the Manipulator) is a young Celestial who was assigned to watch over Earth. He was disgusted that Devron's Little Folk had beaten back his creations: the Killer Folk so he brought the Hulk from the future and sent him down upon the Little Folk and their champion: Devil Dinosaur. This is a humour story depicting Celestial youth (Wikipedia) ...

Thus I let the intervention ride ... basically because taking the literal meanings of the two names:

The first part of the name, MARA, appertains to 'an objective existence which represents the various processes of doubt and temptation which obstruct religious practice;

The second part, GAMIEL, is a totally fictional character which had the role of a 'watcher' who decided to become personally involved in the events which he was meant only to observe. He intervened with a 'creation' of his own.

Fine by me... an apt name I feel in truth for A Light In The Darkness which has the objective of 'providing alternative viewpoints to those which have been established with regard to matters of the Occult' plus the intention behind A Light In The Darkness was to provide an insight into personal involvement in the world of the Occult .... including insights into personal viewpoints and methodology ...

Incidentally, by way of a footnote, the intended name of Marah Gimel appertains to the title 'Camel of the Great Sea' .... it relates to a position (and insight) on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Marah relates to the Sphere of Binah which can often be called Marah or the Great Sea. The Camel is Gimel in Hebrew. The Path of Gimel wanders through The Abyss connecting to the lower portions of the Tree of Life to the Supernals at the top of the tree. The concept of A Light In The Darkness was to make the occult and the hidden ... known ... to create a compendium of all things Occult. But there you go ... a higher force quoshed that planned idea and came up with something entirely different but strangely similar ....
