Jowell backs 'terrific' 2012 Olympic logo

Tessa Jowell, the Culture Secretary, has backed the "terrific" Olympic logo and insisted it is here to stay, just as inspectors begin a three-day examination of London's plans for the 2012 Games. Miss Jowell admitted the much-maligned logo caused a storm when it was unveiled last week but said it was "adaptable" and could be used in a "variety of different contexts. One thing you can say for this logo is that it has got people talking. It has got people talking about the Olympics, it has got people talking about what they like and what they don't like," she told BBC Breakfast. (Telegraph headline) ...
