Kidnap Flat 'Sold For Half Price'

The owners put the two-bedroom apartment on the market for £75,000 last week. A British couple offered the asking price within days and they have already completed the deal, according to Portuguese newspapers. The Sun said the market rate for similar properties was £150,000. It quoted a source as saying: "You would think it would have been hard to sell it, but the buyers were obviously not concerned about its past."(Sky News)

Forgive me for saying this ... But do we really need to know news like this above? I know it keeps Madeleine in the news --- also in media awareness -- but this is news story out of something/anything for the sake of a story? Its like the reporters need to find anything/something associated with Madeleine in an attempt to 'sell their story'. Almost like a 'filler' in the gap between significant events.
