This circle formation was first sighted in the very early morning of August 25th 2008. The diameter of the overall formation is approximately 500 feet.
This field was being harvested as we were at the scene so time was limited for a very close inspection of the circle.
On the ground all the laid mature wheat crop within the formation was generally very neatly swept down to the ground. However, a significant amount of random damage to the formation was very apparent and was considered to be consistent with previous visitor activities. “Construction lines” and key points within the formation were also noted as being randomly crushed.
