The Blind Leap Of Folly

I smile ... I feel proud to be part of this inspiration
A tapestry I form and shape for eyes to read ...
Amazing, I have come this far ...
A stranger on a new shore; quicksilver thinking
The derision of the brave; definition of mystery,
that which is unknown brought out of the deep mental recesses somehow
The abyss I have teetered on for so long ...
Then ... I grew wings; I grew boldness and curiosity took the better of me
and I stood like the fool on the edge; the three fold death
I stepped into the mighty nothing; and recalled then who I was before
When I took the blind leap of folly and walked into this life
from that distant shoreline many call the other side
Into the abyss I plunged and plunged; falling I vibrated like a musical note
F minor or A flat I cannot say ... but I had sound around me
I shone with the note; an invention ... a solo bidding for encore,
Demanding the audience applaud my visual display; descending lights into the dark pit
Then ... it was then, I began to understand ...
