The Law of Patterns

Any habit or pattern, whether we call it good or bad, tends to reassert itself over time unless we break that pattern by doing something different. If it is good, we can reinforce the pattern with small self rewards. We have the power of spontaneous action, doing old things in new ways, changing and restructuring our lives and our behavior. Some of our change ability is dictated by the ways we learned when we were young. We learned to make sense of the world by observing patterns, and this has survival value. We can correct the patterns we see as dysfunctional, negative or destructive by doing something different that will have sufficient impact to interrupt the old pattern.

Wikileaks: Uk Police 'Developed' Evidence Against McCann's

BRITISH police helped "develop" evidence against Madeleine McCann's parents as they were investigated by Portuguese authorities looking into their daughter's disappearance, according to diplomatic cables published by WikiLeaks. Britain's ambassador to Portugal, Alexander Wykeham Ellis, reportedly made the claim to his American counterpart on September 21, 2007 - two weeks after Portuguese police named Gerry and Kate McCann as "arguidos", or formal suspects, in the case. In a cable to Washington, US Ambassador Al Hoffman wrote: "Madeleine McCann's disappearance in the south of Portugal in May 2007 has generated international media attention with controversy surrounding the Portuguese-led police investigation and the actions of Madeleine's parents. "Without delving into the details of the case, Ellis admitted that the British police had developed the current evidence against the McCann parents, and he stressed that authorities from both countries were working co-operatively. He commented that the media frenzy was to be expected and was acceptable as long as government officials keep their comments behind closed doors." The cable does not specify what evidence British police are alleged to have gathered, or whether UK investigators were involved in the decision to formally name the McCanns as suspects. They remained under official suspicion until July 2008 when Portuguese police shelved the investigation into Madeleine's disappearance and lifted the McCanns' status as arguidos. (The Sun)

The Misperception of Energy

Everything is energy". Indeed it is. That is a scientifically, physically and spiritually proven fact of this existence. If everyone simply acknowledged and stayed with that concept, then there would be fewer problems. However, we tend to modify simple concepts and make them into things that they are not and they end up being montrosities that we can't deal with, or go beyond.

"Money is energy". Again, spot on. If everything is energy, then indeed that would include money as well. Now here's where it gets sticky. "Big money equals big energy". Energy is energy is energy is energy.

It is what it is. You cannot make the energy bigger or smaller. You can add more of a type of energy to produce bigger results, and you can reduce a type of energy to get smaller results, but the base energy is the same. Always. Let me give you an example. If you take the energy of dynamite, its base energy is what it is. You cannot make its energy bigger. You can, however, create a bigger explosion by adding more of dynamites base energy together. Let's say that if one stick of TNT has a base energy of 10, by adding ten more sticks, you've increased the potential result of the explosion, but you still only have a base energy of 10. Just in this example, 10 times 10 base energy, which will definitely create a bigger bang, but you are not making the base energy bigger.

The same is true with money. If one dollar has a base energy of 1, then a million dollars still only has a base energy of 1 but now it's times 1,000,000. Here's what I'm saying. If you can create one dollar, it doesn't take any more "energy" to create a million dollars. It's the same energy. Exactly the same. We, on the other hand, assign this incredible, mostly inconceivable amount of energy to any large sum of money, especially a million or more, and by doing so, make it near impossible for us to manifest it.It's us, not the "supposed energy" of the thing that makes it hard for us to give it to ourselves. We are the ones saying "Wow, a million dollars. That's gotta be hard to create." What a load of non-sense.

In energy terms, it's no harder than creating a dollar, or heck, even a penny. It's all money energy, whether it's a penny found on the sidewalk or several million dollars won in a lottery. It's exactly the same. The ONLY difference is our perception of it. Change your money perception Today. Now. This very moment. Think, see and feel how easy it is to manifest a penny or a dollar into your life. I mean really experience it. We've all been given a penny or a dollar, even five dollars and more at some point in our lives. Now close your eyes and remember that time. Remember what it felt like; how you raised your abundance, even with single penny in your hand. Now shift that thinking, seeing, feeling and BELIEVING to a thousand dollars... a hundred thousand dollars... five hundred thousand dollars... a million dollars. You see? It's easy. Only we ever make it hard. Only we, not the energy, puts limitations on it. It is only ever our fear that keeps us from having what we want. Release that old programming. Green is a combination of the colours yellow and blue, each of which brings its own unique energy to the overall feeling of the colour green. Blue exudes calm and peace, while yellow radiates liveliness and high levels of energy. It also gives us the energy to contribute to the process of growth, to nurture ourselves appropriately, without becoming overly attached to our part in the process. Ten deaths raise fears of a new swine flu epidemic

Ten people have died after contracting the swine flu virus in the past six weeks. Health Protection Agency (HPA) officials have confirmed the H1N1 virus that caused last year’s global pandemic is circulating again this winter. The deaths have occurred across England and most of those affected, although not all, had underlying health problems before coming into contact with the virus. It is not known whether the victims died as a result of swine flu or because of complications related to their other conditions. Five of the ten adults had received the flu vaccine. The HPA said a number of severe cases of swine flu were emerging, particularly among adults under the age of 65, which follows a similar pattern to last year’s outbreak. (Daily Mail)

Woodhenge: Is this one of the greatest discoveries of archaeology...or a simple farmer's fence?

The discovery of a wooden version of Stonehenge – a few hundred yards from the famous monument – was hailed as one of the most important archaeological finds for decades.
But now experts are at loggerheads after claims that what was thought to be a Neolithic temple was a rather more humble affair – in fact the remains of a wooden fence. One leading expert on Stonehenge criticised the announcement of the ‘remarkable’ find in July as ‘hasty’ and warned it could become a ‘PR embarrassment’. The discovery of what appeared to be a previously unknown ‘henge’, or earthwork, by a team of archaeologists conducting a multi-million-pound study of Salisbury Plain was widely reported amid great excitement. The team said they had found evidence of a ring of 24 3ft-wide pits that could have supported timber posts up to 12ft tall, surrounded by an 80ft-wide ditch and bank. They explained that, just like Stonehenge, the entrances to the site were aligned so that on the summer solstice the sun’s rays would enter the centre of the ring. The security checks at Ben Gurion, Israel's main international airport near Tel Aviv, are intense. But they are surprisingly discreet. There are no groups of armed police patrolling through the concourses (though if necessary, of course, they will appear very rapidly). The new intrusive body scanners that reveal naked bodies beneath clothing - recently introduced in America amid passenger resentment - are not in use. Instead, Ben Gurion's critical line of defence consists of polite, highly trained agents, most of them women. Fluent in several languages, they will speak to every passenger while they wait to drop their luggage or check in. 'We operate on the principle that it's much more effective to detect the would-be terrorist than try to find his bomb,' says a senior Israeli official. 'The 9/11 hijackers killed 3,000 people without real weapons or explosives. To be safe, you have to be able to stop the person who has hostile intentions. That's how our system works.' In order to begin to develop empathic ability, it is essential to care how someone feels. When we have compassion, we attune to the needs and feelings of the person we want to help. When we resist the energies, need and feelings of another, it is pretty hard to really open your self to them enough to know what is going on. One for the best ways to develop compassion is to put your self in their shoes. What would it feel like to be them.. to have had their experiences, to live their lifestyle, etc. There is a practice of entrainment which can help you come into a simpatico with them. When you are working directly with a person, breathe with them.. at the same rate. imagine you can feel what they feel. It works the best if you can be in some form of physical contact with them, like holding their hand, or placing your hand on their heart chakra. Imagine your awareness sinks into their body. The 7 Rays - A General View

Cyclically, according to the plan of the Logos, the rays come into manifestation, producing through their influence the succession of civilizations and cultures which mark and measure the evolution of the races. The three major planetary centres, Shamballa, Hierarchy and Humanity, are, respectively, the exponents of the three major rays of aspect: Will, Love-Wisdom and Active Intelligence.

Every human being finds himself on one or other of these seven energies, and all of us are governed basically by five ray forces:

1. The ray of the soul, which remains the same for countless aeons;
2. The personality ray, which varies from life to life until all the qualities are developed;
3. The ray governing the mental body;
4. The ray tgoverning the astral-emotional equipment
5. The ray of the physical body, including the brain.

These all vary cyclically. Each ray works primarily through one centre (or chakra), and together they determine the physical structure and appearance, the astral-emotional nature, and the quality of the mental unit. They predispose us to certain attitudes of mind and certain strengths and weaknesses (the virtues and vices of the rays).

They give us our particular personality colour and general tone on the physical plane. For the greater part of our evolutionary experience on this earth the rays of the personality govern our expression, but when we are two-thirds of the way along the path, the soul ray begins to dominate and to be expressed. "Man, know thyself," said the ancient Greeks. "Man, know thy rays," says the esotericist.

A knowledge of one's rays provides one with an insight into one's strengths and limitations, one's line of least resistance in this life and also an understanding of the bridges and the barriers between oneself and others, erected by our individual ray structure. Those on similar rays tend to see things from the same point of view, to have the same approach to life, while those on disparate rays find it difficult to come to an understanding of each other's attitudes and meaning.
It will be obvious how this factor conditions the quality of married life. It affects, too, the success or failure of the meetings of leaders of nations, especially when it is realized that each nation is governed by two rays: the higher soul ray, expressing the highest (usually as yet unmanifested) ideals of the nation; and the lower personality ray, governing the people's selfish national desires.
To view history from an understanding of the rays governing the nations and races is to see it in a new light. It becomes obvious why certain nations are allies while others have little in common and are traditionally hostile to each other. It becomes fascinatingly clear why particular ideas, movements and religions flourish at one period and fall into decay at another; why some countries emerge for a time and become dominant influences in the world while others lie fallow, as it were, awaiting their time of awakening through the stimulus of an incoming ray.

A knowledge of the ray structure of some of the great individuals who have created our culture and civilization enables us to see how their rays made them what they were, conditioned their actions and qualities, and shaped their destinies. The science of psychology is in its infancy. It seeks to understand the workings of the human psyche, and in psychotherapy it works to alleviate the symptoms of stress and disorder. But until an understanding is reached of man as a soul in incarnation, governed by certain ray influences, much will remain obscure.

It is the soul which determines the rays (and therefore the influences and limiting factors) of the personality and its vehicles. The new psychology, today esoteric, will begin from that premise. (Spiritual.com)

Facebook users are being targeted by terrorist groups like Al Qaeda, according to a U.S. government report. Terror bosses are said to rely on the social network to swap information, recruit new members and spread radical propaganda. The study says users even share bomb recipes and lessons on how to use machine guns. The Facebook link was revealed in a Department of Homeland Security report issued last month called ‘Terrorist Use of Social Networking Sites: Facebook Case Study.’ Security analysts told Fox News – the US network that leaked the report – that terror groups have seized on the site as a way of radicalising people in the U.S. and other western countries it could never hope to reach any other way.
‘Every person who connects to the Internet with a computer needs to take this issue seriously,’ said Steve Graham, senior director for EC Council, an American cybersecurity certification membership organisation. ‘Reports like this show we are figuratively sitting next to terrorists. So are our friends, our kids and anyone else who types www,’ he added. The site offers a gateway to extremist online forums and as a media outlet for propaganda, says the study. Informational videos titled Tactical Shooting, and Getting To Know Your AK-47 are reportedly included on the Facebook page for an extremist Islamic group with more than 2,000 members.
Although Facebook is not the only site being used by extremists, the Homeland Security Department claims it has been singled out as being particularly effective. This is because it has more than 500 million users and is much harder to track than web discussion forums. What IS that? 'Forest ghoul' caught on camera in dead of night by a deer hunter

If you go down to the woods tonight... you probably won't believe your eyes. Because judging by footage from a hunting firm's website, this crouching phantom looks like Spider-Man has swung on to the set of the Blair Witch Project. A deer hunter in the U.S. posted a video said to feature the creature on the Wildgame Innovations website - and the piercing white eyes aren't the sort you would want to meet on a dark night. The hunter said he was lying in wait in the pitch black when a ghoulish spectre filled his sights. Its eyes glowing in the light of his torch, it leapt from the undergrowth and flashed a look at the camera before vanishing back into the bushes. The hunter, who has chosen to remain anonymous, was so frightened he said he broke the camera but retrieved the image from its undamaged memory chip. Whenever we feel that we are definitely right, so much so that we refuse to open up to anything or anybody else, right there we are wrong. It becomes wrong view. When suffering arises, where does it arise from? The cause is wrong view, the fruit of that being suffering. If it was right view it wouldn't cause suffering.

CIA implanted electrodes in brains of unsuspecting soldiers, suit alleges

A group of military veterans are suing to get the CIA to come clean about allegedly implanting remote control devices in their brains.
It's well known that the CIA began testing substances like LSD on soldiers beginning in the 1950s but less is known about allegations that the agency implanted electrodes in subjects.

A 2009 lawsuit (.pdf) claimed that the CIA intended to design and test septal electrodes that would enable them to control human behavior. The lawsuit said that because the government never disclosed the risks, the subjects were not able to give informed consent...read more...
