Middle World, Parallel Non-Ordinary Version of Our World
The middle world is the spiritual dimension of our physical world and it is the world in which we live and breathe. The parallel non-ordinary version of our world. With all its beauty, trickery, strangeness as well as horror it is a world of controlled visionary experience. The world of ordinary reality. A world shadowed by other worlds, so that we may move from one dimension into another it constantly overlaps. It is the world where vibes, hunches, psychic phenomena, telepathy, thought forms, extra sensory perception, unexplainable things happen. Where disease as well as illness manifest themselves before moving into the physical body. Where psychic healers work and where psychic ‘darts’ are thrown. In a healing ritual, the shaman most often travels to the middle world to gather facts about people, animals and plants, finds lost items or determines who is responsible for crimes or actions which are significant to the condition of the person in need. The shaman seeks a cure before getting ill. When someone feels ill or dis-spirited they should seek a shaman for advice and to look at their energy field to make sure there is no intrusion or that an intrusion may be removed. Shamans see disease as a result of dis-ease as a result of an invasive force acting against health. As there is an infinite number of lower worlds, upper worlds and middle worlds, not to mention that time can operate differently there, journeying can be very tricky. You need to be very experienced before attempting the middle world, as it is a very difficult place to navigate ...read more>>>...

No. 45, Gathering Together / Bringing Together
"Letting oneself be drawn
Brings good fortune and remains blameless.
If one is sincere,
It furthers one to bring even a small offering."
"You may feel mysteriously drawn to certain people or endeavors, although this may not be what you had planned for yourself. Give in to this impulse." [Wing]
"At the time of Gathering Together, we should make no arbitrary choice of the way. There are secret forces at work, leading together those who belong together. We must yield to this attraction; then we make no mistakes." [Wilhelm]
Who are you being mysteriously drawn to? Don't dismiss this person as too fat, too old, too young, not in your league --- whatever. Is it an "endeavour" that is intriguing you? A job or business you'd like to try, but --- it doesn't pay enough, the commute would be too long, you'd never be able to raise the capital?

Themis - Goddess of Justice
Themis, in Greek mythology, was the personification of divine or natural law, order, and justice. Her name means justice. She was worshipped as a goddess in Athens. Themis was also credited with wisdom and foresight or prophecy (her son's name, Prometheus, means "foresight"), and with knowing secrets unknown even to Zeus. She was also known as a protector of the oppressed and a protector of hospitality. The "law and order" which Themis protected was in the sense of "natural" order or law, what was "proper" especially related to family or the community. Such customs were perceived as natural in origin, though would today be seen as cultural or social constructs. In Greek, "themis" referred to divine or natural law, while "nomoi" to laws created by people and communities...read more>>>...

Researchers To Present Exclusive, Disturbing Interviews With 9/11 Pentagon Witnesses in Toronto on Anniversary
On the tenth anniversary of 9/11, American researchers will appear live at The Royal cinema in Toronto to present exclusive interviews with eyewitnesses to the act of mass murder which took place at the Pentagon that day. Their documentary film, which has been translated into several languages and garnered more than 500,000 views online, makes the case that these detailed audio and video-recorded witness accounts prove “beyond a reasonable doubt that the violent event at the Pentagon was the result of a carefully planned and skillfully executed military deception,” not a surprise attack by kamikaze hijacker pilots as alleged. The film, National Security Alert, will be incorporated into a multimedia presentation along with other relevant evidence.
One of the presenters, Craig Ranke, is a co-founder of Citizen Investigation Team (CIT), a Southern-California based research team which has spent the past five years conducting an independent investigation into the 9/11 Pentagon event. Over the years Mr. Ranke has repeatedly flown across the United States to the scene of the crime in Arlington, Virginia to conduct research and interviews. He has worked in tandem with several other researchers from around his country; most notably Aldo Marquis, with whom he founded CIT in 2006. Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Awakening?
Over the last two thousand years, there have been literally dozens of proposed dates upon which the world was expected to end. Around 30 CE, Jesus is reported to have said “Judgement Day” would come within the lifetimes of his audience. This is the failed prophecy on which all the others were based. However, for hundreds of years before this, the Hebrew people had a tradition of prophecy. Prophets such as Ezekiel and Daniel had predicted that one day the dead would come out of their graves. This concept is preserved in Christianity and Islam, who also expect a Day of Judgement, also known as Yawm al-Ba’th, the day of Rising From the Grave...read more>>>...Buddhist Inspiration ...

Science and Religion
The corruption of science is one of the biggest problems our world has ever faced; it may, indeed, bring about the extinction of the human race. That prospect scares me and it should scare you. But more than being scared, my heart has been broken by the realization that the best hope of the human race - Truth, beautiful Truth - has been savaged and spoiled by the very guardians of the temple: scientists themselves under the influence of a ramified network of mutual pathological conspiracies that are divorced entirely from the body of normal humanity. I was pretty young when I first learned that science could make mistakes; I grew up next door to a child whose mother took Thalidomide during pregnancy. When I was 14, our family doctor prescribed "diet pills" for me: methamphetamines. They nearly destroyed my health forever. In later years, I learned from the news-magazine show, 20/20, that the recommended treatment my grandfather had received for high blood pressure, provided by the Veteran's Administration, was actually what killed him. These are just a few highlights of a lifetime of experiences with doctors and other medical professionals who actually got things wrong about 75% of the time, and the remaining 25% that they got right was non-critical. In all critical situations, had I listened to my doctor's advice for myself or my children, there would have been serious negative consequences. This is a disheartening perspective, certainly, but there it is: doctors are not trained to help you live a healthy life, they are trained by pharmaceutical company funded medical schools to support the drug economy. I once heard that in ancient China, medical practitioners were required to advertise over their doors how many of their patients had died. Obviously, they became highly motivated to find out what really worked because nobody would consult them if their advice and potions weren't beneficial. It would be nice if our civilization instituted a similar system. But, in a way, we do have such a system: social networks. The only problem is, a very large majority of people in our society will not believe 500 people who tell them that something really works because they have tried it in opposition to a single doctor who says "that's not recommended by the medical associations." This kind of person who follows the "constituted authorities" rather than empirical evidence is referred to by psychologist Bob Altemeyer as "The Authoritarian Follower" personality type. It is thanks to this type of person that even pure psychopaths in power can get away with the most egregious crimes in all fields of endeavor, from medicine to law, from industry to politics. The Authoritarian Follower believes that those in authority have the right to live by their own rules, and lying, cheating, stealing and murder in high places can thus be tolerated with a shrug of the shoulders. They will also willingly engage themselves in the same lying, cheating, stealing and murder if it is presented to them as necessary to protect their status quo. Corruption of Science. Putting those two words together in a conversation won't raise any eyebrows nowadays what with all the news reports of scientists in bed with big corporations cooking their data, Climategate, suppression of NASA scientists, not to mention the long history of BIG mistakes made by science that have led to horrible suffering for given segments of humanity. Everybody understands in a general way that scientists, like any group of people, have members who are less than ethical, or even downright rapacious. But I would like to suggest that the corruption of science is a deeper and wider problem than most people suspect; that it is a rot that pervades our entire Western culture and is, in fact, the root of all the evils to which we have fallen heir in the past several centuries. Further, I'd like to suggest that the Corruption of Science is due to the fact that it has been taken over by psychopathy with the support of the Authoritarian Follower personality type. In the last issue of The Dot Connector Magazine in my article "The Golden Age, Psychopathy and the Sixth Extinction," I cited some brain research that shows how the brains of the Authoritarian Follower personality type (as described by Bob Altemeyer) might operate and how this type is as well represented in the sciences as among religious people. I also theorized a bit about the origins of the conflict consisting in two different types of human beings: those possessing a certain spiritual potential (probably due to genetics, though the genetics were morphologically influenced by non-material factors) and thus capable of conceiving and operating within a spiritual ideological structure, and those who lack this capacity - also probably due to genetics - and thus forever constrained within a materialistic structure no matter how powerful and elegant the computing power of their physical brain....read more>>>...

Tolerance And The Human Spirit
What does the term 'tolerance' mean to you? To many people it seems that it is synonymous with phrases such as 'to put up with', often harking back to classroom scenarios of the teacher informing noisome students that he will not tolerate such behavior. Certainly it would often seem to be the case that the word 'tolerate' is associated with negativity, and that to tolerate something is to put up with a situation which may engender negative or unwelcome feelings. Yet often we are advised that toleration is a skill which is increasingly necessary in an increasingly diverse society. The word is that a society which is tolerant is more peaceful, and harmonious. Putting these two concepts together, on the one hand the common association of tolerance with something that might otherwise be discouraged, with the expectation that such behavior would give rise to a more integrated and understanding society, does raise some questions, and would not appear to be sitting at ease together. If the tolerant individual is one who puts up with the fact that other people are different, whether through skin color, race, creed, religious belief, moral belief or political persuasion, then is that individual one who can be said to be a catalyst for cultural diversity and acceptance? Certainly if we accept the commonly held stigmatism of tolerance as harboring negative thoughts and feelings, then it would suggest not. But let us consider the nature of society, and in particular, the society that the intolerant individual may prefer. Since toleration implies differences which can encourage resentment, suspicion and doubt as far as individual differences are concerned, perhaps the intolerant society would be one where everybody is the same? Prejudice has found more ways to manifest itself than one might imagine. Whether prejudice rises as a result of gender differences - and not merely the simple classification of male and female, or through skin color, hair color, religious beliefs, dietary beliefs, size, dress preferences or political beliefs, the one thing that is clear is that within any social group of almost any size, there will be opportunities for prejudice. This is simply due to the basic and most fundamental fact of being human - that we are all different. So if being human is to be different, unique, individual in our collective choices and heritage, then being human is also by definition, to be subject , at least potentially, to prejudice. Toleration is either the 'putting up with' differences, or perhaps it should be considered more as the acceptance of those differences. Taking this idea further, we could consider the radical idea that to be human must necessarily to be tolerant - since we have to accept that we are all different in one way or another, and that to deny this, or be repelled at the thought if the concept, is to refuse to accept the most fundamental aspect of our humanity. Difference...read more>>>....

The Tree of Life
There are many spiritual paths, but within them the quest for a deep spiritual connection is the same. Kabbalah, often referred to as Jewish mysticism, considers such esoteric ponderings of existence, life purpose, and much more. Although based on the ancient teachings of Judaism, Kabbalah is a field of study pursued not only by the Jewish, but by people of many different faiths. Such great minds as Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, Plato, Pythagoras, Newton, Shakespeare and Freud have all studied Kabbalah. Kabbalah is the Hebrew word which means "to receive." This is because it is believed while wisdom may be gained from study, spiritual understandings of our reality can only be "received." This implies that the recipient must be a fitting vessel and completely ready for receiving such special and holy ideas. Thus, traditionally, Kabbalah was not even taught to people until the age of 40, when they had completed their education in the Bible and practical Jewish law. Then, they were eligible to study the Zohar, also referred to as The Tree of Life, considered by some to be the Holy Grail. Yet, even though much of the wisdom of Kabbalah is meant for serious students of Judaism, there are many aspects of Kabbalah that are open and beneficial to all people. Many insights into life's ultimate purpose can be understood through the concepts of Kabbalah. You can learn invaluable things about yourself and the universe from studying the many different aspects of these mystical concepts through its philosophy and meditation. One of the principals of Kabbalah is that it is an elusive study, meaning many things are not explained but rather left for the student to comprehend on his or her own. Therefore, if you delve into Kabbalah, you need to be willing to contemplate the teachings deeply and personally in order to get closer to finding the truth.

Experts Release ET Invasion Scenarios
We've all heard of the ravaged rain forests and the plight of the polar bear. But as far as reasons for saving the planet go, the one offered by scientists Thursday is truly out of this world. A team of American researchers have produced a range of scenarios in which aliens could attack the earth, and curiously, one revolves around climate change. They speculate that extraterrestrial environmentalists could be so appalled by our planet-polluting ways that they view us as a threat to the intergalactic ecosystem and decide to destroy us. The thought-provoking scenario is one of many envisaged in a joint study by Penn State and the NASA Planetary Science Division, entitled " Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis ." It divides projected close encounters into "neutral," those that cause mankind "unintentional harm" and, more worryingly, those in which aliens do us "intentional harm."...read more>>>...
A Great Teacher
The journey of water as it flows upon the earth can be a mirror of our own paths through life. Water begins its residence on earth as it falls from the sky or melts from ice and streams down a mountain into a tributary or stream. In the same way, we come into the world and begin our lives on earth. Like a river that flows within the confines of its banks, we are born with certain defining characteristics that govern our identity. We are born in a specific time and place, within a specific family, and with certain gifts and challenges. Within these parameters, we move through life, encountering many twists, turns, and obstacles along the way just as a river flows. Water is a great teacher that shows us how to move through the world with grace, ease, determination, and humility. When a river breaks at a waterfall, it gains energy and moves on, as we encounter our own waterfalls, we may fall hard but we always keep moving on. Water can inspire us to not become rigid with fear or cling to what’s familiar. Water is brave and does not waste time clinging to its past, but flows onward without looking back. At the same time, when there is a hole to be filled, water does not run away from it in fear of the dark; instead, water humbly and bravely fills the empty space. In the same way, we can face the dark moments of our life rather than run away from them. Eventually, a river will empty into the sea. Water does not hold back from joining with a larger body, nor does it fear a loss of identity or control. It gracefully and humbly tumbles into the vastness by contributing its energy and merging without resistance. Each time we move beyond our individual egos to become part of something bigger, we can try our best to follow the lead of the river.

The Flow Of The Universe
The flow of the universe moves through everything. It's in the rocks that form, get pounded into dust, and are blown away. It is the blossoming of a flower born from a seed planted in the spring. The growth cycle that every human being goes through is part of this natural flow. The current that takes us down life's paths is this flow. When we move with it, rather than resisting, we are riding on the universal current that allows us to flow with life. Many people live their lives struggling against this current. They try to use force or resistance to will their lives into happening the way they think it should. Others move with this flow like a sailor using the wind, trusting that the universe is taking them exactly where they need to be at all times. This flow is accessible to everyone because it moves through and around us. We are always riding this flow. It's just a matter of whether we are willing to go with it or resist it. Choosing to go with the flow is often a matter of letting go of the notion that we need to be in control at all times. The flow is always taking you where you need to go. It's just a matter of deciding whether you plan on taking the ride or having it take you there with you dragging your feet. Learning to step into the flow can help you feel a connection to a force that is greater than you and is always there to support you. The decision to go with the flow can take courage because you are surrendering the notion that you need to do everything by yourself. Riding the flow of the universe can be effortless, exhilarating, and not like anything you ever expected. When you are open to being in this flow, you open yourself to possibilities that exist beyond the grasp of your control. As a child, you were naturally swept by the flow. Tears of sadness falling down your face could just as quickly turn to tears of laughter. Just the tiniest wave carrying you forward off the shores of the ocean could carry you into peals of delight. Our souls feel good when we go with the flow of the universe. All we have to do is make the choice to ride its currents.

Black Panther, Symbol of Astral Travel
Black Panther's Power Includes astral travel, guardian energy, symbol of the feminine, death and rebirth, understanding of death, reclaiming ones power, ability to know the dark, aggressiveness and power without solar influence, reclaiming Power. The Panther is a very ancient and powerful spirit guide. Their power is lunar (moon). In Egyptian rites a panther tail was worn around the neck or waist to help protect and strengthen the individual. Panther has been a symbol of the "Argos of a Thousand Eyes," who protected the heifer IO whom Zeus loved. After his death, the eyes were moved to the feathers of the peacock. The name panther is frequently linked with a certain species of leopard or jaguar and sometimes the cougar. Black panthers are smaller but more fierce than lions and tigers. They are also brilliant swimmers and agile climbers. Because they have the ability to sprint with great speed, they hold the teachings of quick decisive action. Panthers are not the best long distant runners though, so those with this power animal should take part in movement therapies that improve endurance, e.g. swimming, martial arts. As U.K. Releases UFO Files, Former UFO Project Chief Apologizes For 'Spin And Dirty Tricks'
As the British National Archives continues to release UFO-related documents, the former Ministry of Defense (MoD) UFO Project chief is openly admitting to being part of what he claims was a U.K. policy of ridiculing UFO reports and the people who reported them. The U.K. made public 34 previously-classified files, totaling about 9,000 pages of documents covering the years 1985 to 2007. For three of those years, 1991 to 1994, Nick Pope was in charge of the official MoD office. "What's abundantly clear from these files is that, while in public we were desperately pushing the line that this was of no defense interest," Pope told The Huffington Post. "We couldn't say 'There's something in our air space; pilots see them; they're tracked on radar; sometimes we scramble jets to chase these things, but we can't catch them.' This would be an admission that we'd lost control of our own air space, and such a position would be untenable."...read more>>>...
Consciousness, Resonance & the Paranormal: Synchronised Swimming in the Quantum Sea
In 1998, physicist Paul Steinhardt and his colleagues coined a term that would describe a mysterious field of what they believed to be dark energy, or a “fifth essence.” They called it “quintessence.” Based upon an earlier idea proposed by Fermilab physicist Chris Hill and colleague Josh Freeman, quintessence suggested that, like the cosmological constant of Einstein’s vision, this essence fills all of “empty” space with a form of matter-energy that is changeable in strength. Some parts of space might have a thicker quintessence, others a thin “layer,” creating a field of invisible essence that has no direction, like a vector field, only magnitude, like a scalar field. Described as kinetic energy by Tom Siegfried in Strange Matters, the strength of this field would be measured by how quickly it approaches the zero point. Because quintessence is believed to exert negative pressure, it is said to be a slow rolling scalar field, one that does not change too quickly over a period of time. Whether or not quintessence is the dark energy so eagerly sought by physicists will decide the fate of the universe itself, because of its relationship to expansion. The presence of a negative energy in space would possibly stop the expansion...read more>>>...

Justice (or Adjustment)
Justice (or Adjustment) is numbered eight in some decks and eleven in others. We see a female figure, holding the scales to represent the balance between good and evil, right and wrong within our lives. She also holds the sword which knights us or which claims retribution. Justice is the supreme Judge. Here we see the effects of Karma, the idea that everything we do today has either a positive or negative effect upon our future. Every dark thought or deed weighs against us, balanced out (hopefully) by every good deed and loving thought. We can be angels and we can be demons, it is our choice. We shape our futures by what we do and think now. If we stop blaming other people, or forces, if things go wrong then we take control of our own lives. Justice shows us that the natural cycles of the Universe will reflect back upon us exactly what we expect - so expect joy and happiness! (Angel Paths)

Buddhist Inspiration ...
Sometimes people mistakenly look on vows and pledges as if these were a type of punishment, but this is not at all the case. For example, just as we follow certain methods of eating and drinking to improve our health and certainly not to punish ourselves, so the rules the Shakymuni Buddha formulated are for controlling counter-productive ill-deeds and ultimately for overcoming afflictive emotions, because these are self-ruinous. Thus, to relieve oneself from suffering, one controls the motivations and deeds producing suffering for one's own sake. Realizing from his own experience that suffering stems from one's own afflictive emotions as well as actions contaminated with them, he sets forth styles of behavior to reduce the problem for our own profit, certainly not to give us a hard time. Hence, these rules are for the sake of controlling sources of harm---Yoga Tantra: Paths to Magical Feats

Govern Mental = Mind Control
Check any dictionary and you will find that "govern" means "control," and "ment" (or "mental") means "mind," therefore "government" (governmental) really means "Mind Control." So naturally operations like MK-Ultra and Monarch, Manchurian Candidates and Trauma Based Programming are par for the course. All governments around the world are really in the business of brain washing. The Mainstream Media, the Public Education system, False Flags, phoney "wars" like the "War on Drugs" and the "War on Terror," patriotic history textbooks, newspapers full of crime, violence, and intrigue are all in place to perpetuate the illusion that government is necessary...read more>>>...
Claiming Our Feelings
If you’ve ever found yourself repressing your anger and behaving in other ways to get your point across, you may be someone who is adept at engaging in passive-aggressive behavior. Although passive-aggressive behavior is recognized as a psychological disorder, it also describes the behavior that many people use to cope with confrontational situations. Such behavior has the outward appearance of being peaceful, yet it is really an attempt to express oneself in seemingly passive ways—usually without accepting responsibility for doing so. For example, someone who doesn’t want to attend an event with a partner might engage in behavior that causes them to be late or miss the event without ever admitting to their partner that they never wanted to go to the function at all. Procrastination, inefficiency, stubbornness, and sullenness are some of the many ways that anger can be expressed indirectly. It is important not to judge ourselves when we engage in passive-aggressive behavior. You may want to consider that you are not owning your feelings or your expression by indirectly expressing yourself. Perhaps you are judging your feelings and needs as wrong—which is why you are expressing yourself indirectly. You also may be worried that others will judge you for feeling the way that you do. Remember that anger and every other emotion are never good or bad. They can, however, become toxic of you don’t express them in healthy and proactive ways. When we express ourselves directly, we are more likely to be heard by the other person. It also becomes easier for us to ask for and get what we want. Once we learn to be honest with ourselves about our feelings, we can begin to directly express ourselves to others. By learning to express ourselves directly, we prevent misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and resentment from cropping up in our relationships. We also learn to communicate with others in healthy and productive ways. It is never too late to start working on ourselves and our behaviors, just take it one day at a time.

A Word on "Glastonbury"
The ancient Celtic name for the Tor was Ynys Witrin, 'Island of Glass.' Another Celtic name was Caer Wydyr, 'Fort of Glass,' which is also the third name for the Celtic Otherworld. Surrounded mostly by water, a defensive wall known as Ponter's Ball was erected to the East and protected Glastonbury from the mainland. A bridge, known as the Pomparles or as Perilous Bridge, was the only dry access point to the south. Pomparles is thought to be the place where Bedwyr, from the Arthurian legend, returned the sword Excalibur to the Lady Of The Lake after the Battle of Camlann.
In Celtic legends, Avalon was the Otherworld home of the underworld god, Afallach. Both the names Avalon and Afallach refer to apples, apples that once grew in Glastonbury. Being a Otherworld sacred site, Glastonbury would be the site where a Celtic king would be sent when near or at death. Such was the case of King Arthur when he was sent to Avalon after his final battle.
The word 'tor' means a hill or rocky peak. Atop the Tor stands a tower, the remains of a church. The tower's true purpose as either part of a church or of a fortification is not known but in the Middle Ages most of the structure, except the tower, was destroyed by an earthquake and landslide in 1275CE. For the Celtics, the Tor was believed to be the entrance to Annwfn, the Celtic Otherworld, and to the Palace of Gwynn ap Nudd, Afallach's brother and the main Otherworld Celtic god. Celtic legends claim the hill itself is/was hollow and that it was the entrance to the Celtic Underworld. Arthurian legends have both Merlin or King Arthur as possibly sleeping within the hollow hill. Later Christian legends have the second coming of Christ dwelling in the hollow as the 'sleeping lord' or even Joseph of Arimathea resting place where he guards the Holy Grail. Other folk tales claim the top of the Tor is a place of fairy visions and magic.
Glastonbury, held sacred long before Christianity, was settled by the Celts and the area was used for religious ceremonies and as a trade route/port. A long trailing terrace winds its way around the sides of the Tor. Though weathered and eroded over time, the trail, its true purpose unknown, has been associated with similiar devices or patterns from other cultures. Scholars believe it may have been built about the same time as the structures at Stonehenge and Avebury. No other structures from this period were found except for a pre-historic Earthwork construct known as Ponter's Ball. Ponter's Ball runs across the high ground about two miles East of Glastonbury. The running mound is thought to be a wall marking the boundary of the sacred Glastonbury precinct.
From both ancient and current times, the Tor has also been a sanctuary of Goddess worship. Goddess worship can be found in the Celtic and Arthurian legends; the Lady Vivien, a Celtic water goddess and also known as the Lady Of The Lake... read more>>>...

Twelve Triggers Driving Mankind Towards World Government
What I am about to describe in this article are not “predictions” of any kind. Rather, they are forecasts based on available data and common sense projections of where the Global Power Elite are trying to take the world, why they are doing so, and what they hope to achieve. The more they keep the general public in the dark, the higher their chances of success. Doing this kind of forecast is rather like understanding the weather. If on a hot summer day you look out your window and see dark clouds and lightning on the horizon, and suddenly a strong, damp ozone-filled gust blows your way, it’s basic common sense to say that you shouldn’t be forecasting “sunny and calm today,” but rather “drenching rain, thunder, lightning and hail.”... Quotes For The Day
Decide for today that you will refrain from judging others. See each person as a beautiful creation of God, no matter what your differences. Choose to see Oneness instead, and the eternal connectedness that the Love of God gives us. See everyone in Love. It will raise your vibration, even if only for one day; but once you have been there, you will want to go back to feel it again & again because it is your own freedom-- Sherri Lane
Can a change in solar activity increase the risk of radiation to air passengers?
Changes in the solar activity of the Sun could pose an increased risk of radiation to passengers on long-distance aircraft, experts have warned. Researchers announced the warning after studying the effects of radiation on aircraft crew and passengers during long-haul flights. Air passengers have been warned that they could face a greater risk of exposure when the Sun ends its current 'grand solar maximum' - a cycle of heightened solar activity. Experts from the University of Reading say the Sun has been in a grand solar maximum for longer than any such previous cycle in the past 9.3 millennia. When that period ends, however, the resulting changes to the near-Earth space will return our planet to conditions which current forms of engineering will be unfamiliar with...read more>>>...
Too Much Television May Shorten Your Life
Watching too much television could shorten your life, a study suggests. Research carried out in Australia, and published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, showed that every hour of TV watched after the age of 25 may shorten lifespan by 22 minutes. According to one of the report's authors, Dr Lennert Veerman, from the School of Population Health at the University of Queensland, it puts long hours spent in front of the box "in the same ballpark as smoking and obesity". "While smoking rates are declining, watching TV is not, which has implications at a population level," he said. Last year, another Australian study found an hour of TV a day led to an 8% increase in the risk of premature death...read more>>>...
Buddhist Inspiration ...
Every spiritual tradition has stressed that this human life is unique and has a potential that ordinarily we don’t even begin to imagine. If we miss the opportunity this life offers us for transforming ourselves, they say, it may well be an extremely long time before we have another.
Imagine a blind turtle roaming the depths of an ocean the size of the universe. Up above floats a wooden ring, tossed to and fro on the waves. Every hundred years, the turtle comes, once, to the surface. To be born a human being is said by Buddhists to be more difficult than for that turtle to surface accidentally with its head poking through the wooden ring.
And even among those who have a human birth, it is said, those who have the great good fortune to make a connection with the teachings are rare, and those who really take them to heart and embody them in their actions even rarer—as rare, in fact, “as stars in broad daylight.” --- Sogyal Rinpoche, from Glimpse of the Day

Symbols & Psyche: Exploring Gateways to Realms of Knowledge, Power & Understanding
In the diagram of the Tree of Life (Seen Left) – the traditional esoteric geometric representation of the mystic totality of existence – the Sun is the number six, the Sephira, or sphere, of Tiphareth, Beauty. Tiphareth stands in the balance, midway between the topmost sphere of Kether, the Crown – the Point, the first manifestation of the Infinite – and the bottom sphere of Malkuth, the Kingdom – the world of three-dimensional physical reality in which we live. Tiphareth occupies the central of the three pillars of the Tree of Life, the Middle Pillar, surrounded on either side by the Pillars of Mercy and Severity.
As the Sun is Tiphareth, the number six, its geometrical figure is the hexagram. The hexagram further exemplifies the nature of the Sun as intercessor or balance point between above and below, heaven and earth, God and man. The hexagram is formed by the union of the ascending male triangle of Fire, and the descending female triangle of Water. The number six, or hexad, was called “the Perfection of Parts” by Pythagoras. This reminds us that Tiphareth (Beauty) is the sphere of Harmony. And harmony is produced by the joining together of distinct, and, in some cases, discordant elements, to produce a unified and aesthetically pleasing whole. Pythagoras observed that the number six is the first mixture of odd and even, being the multiplication of two by three. The Pythagoreans designated odd numbers as male, and even numbers as female. Thus, we are reminded once again that the number six and the hexagram represent the union of male and female, the harmony upon which all creation relies.
The Sun’s metal is gold, the luminous and most beautiful of all, whose value has been an unchanging indicator of wealth and a medium of exchange for millennia. A visit to any fine Egyptian collection, in either a museum or the pages of a book, will show the prominence of gold as the chosen metal of pharaonic iconography and architecture. Similarly, gold was the metal chosen for most of the ritual implements in the Temple of Solomon. It was also used to cover the sacred Ark of the Covenant. Medieval and Renaissance Europe used gold liberally in churches, shrines, and palaces, as did the Aztec, Mayan, Indian, and Chinese royalty and priesthood. Gold is the ultimate symbol of the perfection reached by the alchemist – who removes in countless stages the myriad of impurities that make up lead, and allows for its transformation and refinement into the king of metals.
In the body, the Sun is the heart, symbolically the single most important organ. The heart is the central pumping station of the blood, the essence of life. All survival and health depend on its regular and consistent motion. Long regarded as the seat of courage, the heart was torn from the chest of enemies and eaten by ancient warriors, that they might increase their own strength by ingesting the essence of worthy opponents. Colloquially we speak of a person “with heart” to describe the motivation and self-discipline necessary to pursue a course of success in life. The heart denotes sincerity, the appreciation of the essence of the self in action. It is also the symbolic seat of love, the motivating force that sustains the world through generation.
Among the parts of the Soul in the Qabalah, the Sun is one of six of the ten Sephiroth that compose the intellect, known as the Ruach. Here again, the Sun acts as an intercessor between the higher levels of the soul (the Self, Life Force, and Intuition) and its lowest aspect (the Animal Soul of Nature). The Intellect weighs and analyses, decides on the appropriate response to stimulation from above and below. It acts as the mediator between “heaven” and “earth.”...read more>>>...

From The Ridiculous To The Sublime ...U.K. Police Charge Man For Organizing A Mass Water Gun Fight
In the social media crackdown following the London Riots, Police have charged a man a 20 year man with the crime of organizing a massive water gun fight. In the wake of the London riots that British government has called for a social media crackdown with companies like Facebook and Blackberry voluntarily handing over customer data to law enforcement officials in order to crack down on protestors who planned and participated in the riots. The crackdown has escalated to the involvement of British intelligence agencies to assist in the data mining and decrypting of message used in the planning of the events. Today we get our first reports of the police charging a man with a crime unassociated with the riots from the Guardian, which raises constitutional rights against illegal search and seizure. If that weren’t enough the crime being charged is for planning a mass water gun fight, according to the following report from the Guardian. If the police were forced to obtain a warrant for the data to search for crimes only related to the riots, the police would not be able to charge the man for the unrelated crime...read more>>>...
GMOs Don't Qualify As Food
Antibodies from women with a rare condition known as immune infertility are used in the creation of GMO food. There has been a concerted national effort by citizens to have the US government label GMOs. Opposing it are government intent not only to keep them unlabeled in the US but efforts at the international level by the US government to remove all labeling of GMOs through Codex. The problem is that Codex applies to food, and GMOs don't qualify. One long-standing project of the US Government has been to perfect a genetically-modified variety of corn, the diet staple in Mexico and many other Latin American countries. The corn has been field tested in tests financed by the US Department of Agriculture along with a small California bio-tech company named Epicyte. Announcing his success at a 2001 press conference, the president of Epicyte, Mitch Hein, pointing to his GMO corn plants, announced, "We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies."...read more>>>...
Corrupt Science: Cancer Research of 10 Years Useless: Fraudulent Studies, Says Mayo Clinic
Medical science is rampant with fraud. At the Mayo Clinic, ten years of research that appeared to be leading towards harnessing the immune system to fight cancer is worthless because of fraudulent studies and later research based on the fraudulent ones. Retraction of medical research papers is at an all-time high. Though error was cited at a 3 to 1 rate over fraud, one must seriously question whether simple error is the primary reason. After all, these studies are peer-reviewed. They are supposed to have passed rigorous examination. But, what's the reality? Of course, as Gaia Health readers have seen over and over, the reality is that flaws in much of medical research are blatant. Often, merely examining a study, instead of taking it at face value, demonstrates that the conclusions are not supported by the evidence. Nonetheless, those same studies are cited as evidence of efficacy of drugs and procedures. Even after papers have been retracted, the impression they've given doesn't disappear. Research based on those papers is already designed and in process...read more>>>...
