The TV star was arrested this week over the murder of a man found dead in his swimming pool six years ago. Today, police had just 12 hours to hold him. Tonight Barrymore's lawyer said his client "categorically denies the allegations that have been made". He refused to answer any further questions. It was not clear whether he had been released on bail. Mr Barrymore was reportedly on suicide watch in his police cell following his dramatic arrest yesterday.(Daily Mail)
