| APOSTLE BIRD |
I've seen Apostle Birds on several occasions in NSW, Australia ... but never as a singular. They get their name from often being seen in groups of up to 12 birds. First time I spotted them was at Hermit's Cave near Griffith ... on the ground and above my head when I'd first arrived. They make quite a din ... their cries of communication between each other unmistakable. This particular image is added to my Favourite's Collection because it was taken within ten minutes of my first ever sightings of Apostle Birds
