LITTLE CORELLA (Birdirra)

The antics of the Little Corella are spectacular, and have to be seen to be believed. If you want to be entertained, then find a flock of Corella, sit down on a bench and watch the action. They are hilarious, extremely bold and also extremely noisy.

In this particular image, this Little Corella has successfully unfastened the glass cover to a street light so it can feed off the flies inside the light compartment! So they are destructive as well. It is included in my Favourite's Collection because it sums up the nature of the Little Corella perfectly. 

When Little Corella play, they become very noisy. They have conversations with each other, fly around and also show off. Little Corella show off by hanging themselves upside-down with their feet, beaks or both.
