Something that had sentient A.I input at the start, or during the simulation. It is likely to be something much more than a computer 'model'.
It may well be the simulated reality we are now plunging headlong into. Whatever it was, clearly it is shaping the shit we are now in. Something is following the simulation to the letter; controlling the weather; directing agendas to lead to human genocide and worse.
The sentient A.I appears to be steering the human ship deliberately towards the iceberg; and the captain (The world elite) is unable to move it away from total destruction.
