in 2019 under the banner of “clean energy for all Europeans.” The
package aims to boost renewable energy, improve energy efficiency and
reduce CO2 emissions while establishing a “robust governance system” for

Norway’s coalition government has collapsed
in a dramatic showdown over energy policy, marking a pivotal moment in
the Nordic nation’s relationship with the European Union. The
Euroskeptic Center Party, led by Finance Minister Trygve Slagsvold
Vedum, withdrew its support for Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store’s Labor
