Wedge-tailed Eagle - The Persecuted King

The wedge-tailed eagle, or eaglehawk, is found throughout Australian and southern New Guinea, and the most common of large eagles worldwide. It is the largest bird of prey in Australia with a wingspan of 2-3 metres

The wedge-tailed eagle is the persecuted king, he is still shot by farmers, and even considered 'vermin', he is hunted, misrepresented and sometimes demonised. 

When eagle comes into your life, he warns you that you are being demonised or persecuted unfairly, or alternatively, there is a situation or person that you are refusing to understand or see in an open-minded way. Broaden your horizons, don't live in a narrow world, eagle will give you the true sight you need to see clearly, and the strength to be seen clearly by others.

The wedge-tailed eagle flies into our life and suggests that ignorance and intolerance has found its way into it. We are misunderstanding a situation, or we are being misunderstood. If we let go of our own prejudices, we are less likely to be judged in a negative manner. If we live our lives openly and with pride instead of insecurity, others will eventually come to respect this. At the end of the day though, persecution occurs whether we like it or not, and like wedge-tailed eagle you must continue on in your life despite any ignorance being directed your way. But if life is about experimenting, experiencing, and learning, then to be imperfect is a prerequisite. The heron is almost exclusively a solitary creature. It prefers to seclusion, privacy, and even favors hunting alone rather than with a group or mate. The only time the heron breaks its vow of sequester is during mating season. If the heron is your totem or guide, you can completely relate to this. Heron people prefer complete isolation...but are equally at ease in a crowd of peers.

The most outstanding feature about the heron, to me, is its environmental presence. The heron is at home in three elements: Water, Earth and Air. This speaks to me of diversity. Those with the heron as a guide or totem can relate to this. These people are either very skilled in a myriad of different elements, or they are branching out in various skills, and the heron is offering confidence in the process.

Comfort in multiple elements is also symbolic of easy transitions. If you find yourself in liminal spaces, that is, if you find yourself 'in-between' phases, places or people in your life, the heron can give guidance on how to easily move through those 'in-between' moments of your life.

Meaning of the heron deals with being comfortable in spaces that are neither here, nor there. It prefers hunting at twilight, which is a symbolic and magical time of 'in-between'. Myth: Insulin is needed for glucose uptake

Despite evidence to the contrary, there is a widespread misconception that cells cannot take up glucose without insulin. It is believed that these starving cells, by their inability to absorb glucose, cause hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). This brief review of the available scientific literature intends simply to show that 1) considerable glucose uptake occurs independently of insulin, 2) that hyperglycemia is not caused by cells unable to import glucose, 3) AND lastly THAT CELLS ARE NOT STARVING DURING HYPERGLYCEMIA.

Around 80% of glucose uptake is insulin independent. That’s quite a lot. If you’re inclined to reject this study based on its age, consider the glucose clamp technique they’ve used: developed in 1979, it is still the gold standard today. 5 this means that it has been known for more than 30 years that there is considerable glucose uptake without insulin. Why then do medical schools teach students that insulin is an absolute requirement for glucose uptake?

Some think that without insulin, glucose just piles up outside the cell, causing high blood sugar and leaving the cell lacking glucose. In fact, during hyperglycemia, there is more glucose inside the cell than during normoglycemia. Again, from the 2001 review:

Contrary to most textbooks and previous teaching, glucose uptake is therefore actually increased in uncontrolled diabetes and decreased by insulin administration! The explanation for this is that because, even in the face of insulin deficiency, there are plenty of glucose transporters in the cell membranes. The factor determining glucose uptake under these conditions is the concentration gradient across the cell membrane; this is highest in uncontrolled diabetes and falls as insulin lowers blood glucose concentration primarily (at physiological insulin concentrations) through reducing hepatic glucose production.

The 7th ray of the Violet Tribe

The Violet Tribe; people wonder what is this. What kind of concept is this? Let me tell you that all ones that are attracted to Shamballa are all 7th ray beings, are all predominantly working with 7th ray energies, and the colour of the 7th ray is Violet. Hence, the Violet tribe.

But there is more to it. Not only are these beings working with the Violet ray or the 7th ray, many are beings that have been involved with this planet since the very beginning, since the very creation of this planet. These beings are multi-dimensionally known, or esoterically known, as the people of the true Israel. And when we speak of the people of the true Israel and the energy of the true Israel, don’t confuse this with that place in the Middle East that really is Palestine. Israel was another illusion created to keep strife and struggle alive on the planet. The reasons why are not important in this moment, in this discussion.

There are many beings on earth that are known as the true Israel. This Israel is not physical or historical. It is the Israel of all levels of light. You could call it the true Israel, the Veritas Israel that the great teachers of the Kabbala have talked of for a long time here on earth. The true Israel is also known as the Children of Light.

They are not a people clinging to a tradition or a religion, but a group who work with the light emanations of the 7th Ray of Creation. With this light they continually change the form of creation in accordance with Divine Will. They are known as the Adam Kadmon race of light. Their work is to demonstrate higher spiritual truths to the people of the earth. They are the scattered seeds of the Adamic race of light who have been around for eons. These people have aided the formation of the new orders of evolution for those eons, in conjunction with the Great White Brotherhood [the ascended Masters and others].

Under the guidance of the Brotherhood of Light the true Israel brought the scriptures of light to the beings that lived at Qumran, Alexandria, Tibet, and the great salt lake. This true Israel is symbolised by the ten lost tribes of Israel.

This energy is known as the YOD Spectrum. This is the ten centres of radiation of the soul. This Yod spectrum is the lost code to connect us to the Father’s original plan or the Flower of Life, the Seed Blueprint of Creation. Most Native American tribes took note of the heron’s inquisitiveness, curiosity and determination. As such this set the heron as a symbol of wisdom in that this creature seemed to have good judgement skills.

Specifically, the Iroquois tribe held the blue heron as a very good omen, a very lucky sign. They recognized the heron as an expert fisher/hunter. As such, they believed that sighting a heron before a hunt was a sign that the hunt would be a good one.

Daily OM: In our noisy world, we often find ourselves longing for peace and searching to find it somewhere else. While it’s true that there are places we can visit where we can experience peace, such as sacred sites or buildings, we do not need to wait until we get to one of these places to feel at peace. Instead, we can learn to locate the seed of peace inside ourselves and cultivate it so that it grows into a reliable source of serenity that we can always access, no matter where we are.
