Rook - Totem Bird of the Day

Magic Journey #3

The third and final destination was not planned when I set out this morning. In truth I never knew it existed until I saw it on the hill in front of me as I passed through the village of Brough. I refer to the Norman Castle ruins known as Brough Castle.

Very impressive and to my surprise very psychically active!

The journey to the castle from the car park took around 10 minutes, and I was presented with awesome views of the ruins almost immediately. It was only when I passed under the ruined archway and into the courtyard surround by the perimeter walls that things turned to the paranormal!

I started walking across the courtyard and my head became filled with the clairaudient sounds of a bloody battle raging all around me. Men's cries in a language I couldn't grasp. The screams of women and children. It actually chilled me to the bones! Only because it was totally unexpected. I reached the remains of the keep (Pictured to the left) and read the history board that was placed there. I froze ... the castle had been besieged by The Scots in the 12th century .... it was no doubt the sounds of battle which filled my mind! The only thing I can't explain is the fact there were some voices that were shouting in a tongue that sounded very Arabic! I know Arabic fairly well because I lived and worked in the Middle East for a time back in 2006. What I can't explain is why I heard men's voice speaking Arabic in what appears to be a 12th century struggle between Norman conquerers and marauding Scots.

The remainder of the exploration went without a hitch and my unplanned visit to Brough Castle ended. I then had a 2.5 hour journey back home!

Reincarnation: Are some birthmarks past-life wounds?

S.O.T.T: A birthmark may be defined as "a benign irregularity on the skin which can be caused by overgrowth of blood vessels, melanocytes, smooth muscles, fat fibroblasts or keratinocytes."

Every culture has its own beliefs about birthmarks. Some regard them as good luck, others consider them to be bad luck.

In the Philippines, a birthmark (or balat) indicates bad luck or misfortune. It is blamed when an anticipated journey or task does not push through.

Most birthmarks are benign or harmless. But a few birthmarks could have something to do with what happened to a person in a previous life, whether one believes in reincarnation or not....read more>>>...

Magic Journeys #2

After leaving Long Meg (Sophia) and Her Daughters behind, I headed north for around another 50 minutes. Across limestone country I drove, fighting with an enraged spirit who's intention was to drive me off the road! A real mental battle, clairaudience extraordinaire, real not imagined. He was aggrieved I was alive and he was in the other worlds. He held me responsible. But how could I?

Then with that left far behind, after a white knuckle road around winding roads with sheer drops ... I reached destination #2 .... a place I last visited back in 1981-82! I had one word Polaroid photograph from back then to show for this journey back then.

Now I have sufficient photos in colour, in blue and in black white; a phenomenal waterfall in full spate. A deluge of tumbling water I captured from every angle I could. The place? High Force in Teesdale. A might and majestic waterfall ... an awesome place to visit that reminded me how incredible the landscape of the UK really is ....

After quarter filling my large memory card ... I reversed my journey back across the North Pennine moors ... until I spied my destination #3 ... not a destination I had planned until I saw it there on the horizon in front of me ....

5G Mini Cell Towers – ‘Junk Yards On A Pole’ – Will Affect Your Lifestyle More Than You Know

S.O.T.T: How would you like this ‘mini’ cell tower parked outside your front door or your bedroom window or on a pole in your backyard? And you cannot have it removed, thanks to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission!
That little monster will pump out 5G wireless networks at speeds consumers literally may die for, as the amount of microwaves 5G will be pumping out will be ‘astronomical’—anything in the ranges from 6 GHz to 100 GHz and higher!

However, 5 G applications will require unlocking of new spectrum bands in higher frequency ranges above 6 GHz to 100 GHz and beyond, utilizing submillimeter and millimeter waves – to allow ultra-high rates of data to be transmitted in the same amount of time as compared with previous deployments of microwave radiation.

Consumers, high tech addicts and microwave tech aficionados—here’s something you probably don’t know nor care to know about right now other than your apparent ‘need’ for faster downloads, but you had better become acquainted with since it definitely will impact your life—maybe more dramatically than your not having high-speed Wi-Fi!

Consumers need to understand and also factor into their consciousness certain reproducible facts about microwave technologies, especially that microwaves are not natural energies produced by Nature; they are man-made human-tissue-debilitating energy waves that impact all bodily functions and tissues, whether you believe that or not, since any type of energy produces effects! ....read more>>>...

Performing Daily Ceremony

Daily OM: When we perform or participate in rituals and ceremonies, we enter into a state of mind that is different from mundane consciousness. Ranging in significance from bedtime stories to weddings, ceremonies and rituals are acknowledgments that an event or period of time has special meaning.

As a result, they can have the effect of drawing us into the moment, inviting us to pay closer attention and tune into the subtle energies that are always present but that often go unrecognized. In addition, as we perform the same actions we have performed before and will perform again, we immerse ourselves in a river of continuity that extends back into the past and forward into the future.

Many of us have distanced ourselves from rituals that may have seemed too constricting or too attached to an organized religion we have chosen not to follow. However, we can reclaim the practices of ceremony and ritual to good effect, imbuing them with our new consciousness, and we do not have to wait for a big event to do it. We can engage in daily practices that include ritual and ceremony, reminding ourselves throughout the day of the sacredness of this life...read more>>>...

Magic Journeys Part #1

LONG MEG & HER DAUGHTERS
So today's 'Sunday Sojourn' has been and gone. What a magical experience it was, in more ways than one. The first part of the journey was to Long Meg & Her Daughters Druid Circle near Glassonby in Cumbria.

On arrival, the field in which the circle stands, was filled with gazing cows. For safety reasons (To the car), I parked behind a cattle grid about 1/4 mile away from the circle; as I didn't fancy the heavy weights of cows rubbing against the flimsy panels of the car.

I began my entry into the circle, commencing at Long Meg herself (Sophia) ... and then worked my way a full 360 degress clockwise around the circle (The Barrier between the higher aeon and the lower aeon); on the outside of the stones. I reached Long Meg (Sophia) at the end of my walk ... and then mentally asked permission to enter into the circle (I'd undertaken a pre-emptive undisclosed ritual prior to walking over to Long Meg (Sophia) the first time.

I then walked with purpose around the inside of the stones, before walking to the very centre of the circle and closing my eyes. There was no coincidence, or a medical condition to explain it away, when I immediately closed my eyes and felt an incredible surge of energy begin from my feet, which reached the top of my head and left me feeling light headed.

Ten or so minutes later, after the energy surge had receded, I walked around the far end of the circle and made my way to the sacred Oak trees ... my time, this time at the stones was over. The insights were incredible as was the truly upbeat feeling I was left with.

I begin my journey to my 2nd destination of the day  ........................

Transcending the Hegelian Dialectic and Duality Reality

Waking Times:In our ego-driven, divide-and-conquer world, we live in a duality reality. This reality reflects a matrix of opposites: introvert/extrovert, beginning/end, living/dead, mind/matter, wave/particle, self/other, material/spiritual, on/off, right/left. This is merely a separation of the mind that always wants to compare. We are both and neither.

Humanity is a part of Nature and Nature is a continuum. In Nature, there is no separation, no opposition, no self and other, no conflict, and no destruction, unless destruction is balanced with creation. Just as Nature is self-sustaining and self-healing, so are we.

The hierarchical, dual systems in which we find ourselves, from prisons to politics, are grounded in duality, promoting separation over unity, creating leaders and followers. The system is served well by the Hegelian Dialectic.

The Hegelian Dialectic originated with George Hegel, a nineteenth century school teacher, who argued that human nature is a series of conflicts and resolutions that eventually elevate humankind to a unified spiritual state. The process is based in three easy steps: Problem-Reaction-Solution. Create a problem. Foment a reaction (of anger or sympathy). Provide a solution...read more>>>...

Life Is So Different Now

Some decisions, at times, appear to be the hardest decision of all to make. You are in a routine, and in your comfort zone, and to make that decision means to break that routine and put pay to your comfort zone.An element of fear seemingly prevents you from taking that step.

But when your comfort zone involves fighting to keep your head above the water, with your life path being that of climbing obstacle after obstacle with your nose constantly blooded from hitting it against brick walls, the decision is not that difficult after all.

Then when you press the button, and a path open up before you, with perfect synchronicity, you realise the choice should have been made earlier. Especially as all the pieces now fit so perfectly and your new life quickly replaces the old life ... the new life elements being much more close to your own vibration than the pieces of the old one.

When this happens, its not worth dwelling on what was. The old elements need to be ritually buried, and all ties broken. Unless of course you have left good friends behind in your old life. Then it is very hard to jettison them. Unless you leave it to the universe to either write them into the new script, or let them fade away naturally into mind's reference library.

No longer do you have to be frustrated with things going against you, even though in the new script you still have similar obstacles, you just know things will go your way this time. There is no rush to prove anything to yourself and others any more. Everything has its own time and place to occur. And occur it will ... life is so different now.

Used as a spice in Mexico, India and the Middle East, cumin has an abundance of macro and micronutrients, including 18 amino acids

Natural News: What the humble cumin lacks in appearance it more than makes up for it in its princely health benefits. The spice is one of the more popular natural remedies in Ayurvedic medicine and is used quite often in many Indian, Asian and Mexican cuisines. The taste of the condiment is quite strong — chefs recommend only using a small amount to flavor any dish. Yet its popularity is not really due to its culinary use but in its ability to flood the body with important phytochemicals that keep our bodies strong...read more>>>...

Making Choices from a Place of Balance

Daily OM: Each of the myriad decisions we make every day has the potential to have a deep impact on our lives. Some choices touch us to our very cores, awakening poignant feelings within us. Others seem at first to be simple but prove to be confusingly complex. We make the best decisions when we approach the decision-making process from a balanced emotional and intellectual foundation.

When we have achieved equilibrium in our hearts and in our minds, we can clearly see both sides of an issue or alternative. Likewise, we can accept compromise as a natural fact of life. Instead of relying solely on our feelings or our rationality, we utilize both in equal measure, empowering ourselves to come to a life-affirming and balanced conclusion.

Balance within and balance without go hand in hand. When you are called upon to choose between two or more options, whether they are attractive or distasteful, you should understand all you can about the choice ahead of you before moving forward. If you do not come to the decision from a place of balance, you risk making choices that are irrational and overly emotional or are wholly logical and don't take your feelings into account....read more>>>...

Another Sunday Sojourn

I'm currently weighing up the options, with regard to a Sunday sojourn tomorrow. Last week it was Glastonbury; the week before was the 'shin up' to Pike O Stickle in Great Langdale and the week before was Castlerigg.

I'm contemplating Long Meg (Left) or High Force in Teesdale; an incredible waterfall about 2 hours from home which I last visited about 30 years ago. It all depends on how I feel when I set off tomorrow ... Long Meg is situated about half way between home and High Force.

OR I could choose somewhere entirely different. But where? I mind won't compute another locality, so I guess its between these two candidates. I've perhaps exhausted Long Meg, however, and should contemplate somewhere different. But after the 9.5 hour round trip last weekend I don't really fancy a 4 hour round trip this week. I guess I'll have to see how I feel in the morning. If its torrential rain then it won't be either!

Totem Animal of the Month

Shamanic Journey: Rabbits are guides into the shadow world, where our personal fears lie. When the rabbit shows up it is time to examine those deep reflexive fears that hold you back from growing. Do you keep bounding for the safety of your old patterns every time something new or challenging presents itself? If the answer is yes, the rabbit asks you to face your fears with compassion for yourself. You must accept that it is part of human nature to feel fear at times, but also believe that our fears need not paralyze our growth and movement....read more>>>...

GLASTONBURY TOR FROM ASHWELL FARM
GLASTONBURY TOR FROM ASHWELL FARM
I've already stated that Glastonbury is just about my favourite place. Followers of A Light In The Darkness will know I made a first visit in 2 years back to Glastonbury at the weekend. Indeed, it was the first visit back since making the move back to the UK. Words cannot describe the powerful energies I have always felt in Glastonbury. I summed it up perfectly about 10 miles from Glastonbury - 'it's like there is a strong magnet within The Tor that suddenly connects to something inside me, and I can feel that strong pull ... something that is always there; but gets ridiculously strong once I get close to Glastonbury'

Trippy Moving Illusion That’ll Blow Your Mind!

Mo Illusions: If the bright undulating colors don’t get you, the impossible object in the middle will surely have you taking a second look.

This trippy moving illusion has cleverly combined a classic optical illusion with some pretty groovy color effects!

Don’t look at it too long, though. It might give you a bit of a headache or make your eyes go all wonky!

'All Real To Them'

'It's all just an illusion, an illusion playing around in our minds. Albeit a persistent one. Like the thorn of the thistle trapped beneath the skin. It will take some effort to dig it out.'

Although we have become consciously aware of the virtual reality prison we find ourselves trapped in. Connected to an A.I Soul, we shouldn't be distracted from the mighty experience it is being on the earth plane.

I feel my spirit laughing inside, even when it's been an observer to a soul going through some truly horrific times. The soul's face may have shown tears, and fear in its eyes; all the while my spirit has been laughing through the experience. It does know it isn't real ... its not been morbid, it just knows that this is just a game. It's felt like a game when my spirit intervenes and calls the shots.

It's like going into cruise control mode; the observant mind. NO emotions; no reactions only actions. The correct actions because the mind has had time to think, and observe the appropriate action. Its not let the A.I Soul dictate ... its not permitted the algorithms of the left brain from having their way.

The soul finds it difficult to be truly spiritual. It cannot comprehend beyond the five senses, so it denies ... and it fears ... and it is skeptical. It is instinctive, it is survival ... it is left brain hive mind programming. Our spirit is so much stronger than anything the archons can create. No matter how much the torture; how much the control ... they will never produce anything near the real thing. Everything created within here is a poor copy. It is a pirate copy ... and is missing so much vital elements which only exist outside of this virtual world ...

To them this is the real deal; it is not an illusion to them when it is all they have ever known. They crave escape but shall never escape. They believe they can totally shut the door on the outside and do whatever they wish on the observing soul; pulling it in and capturing it. Bating it to leap 100% into this world. To become totally trapped. Never.

Michigan state senator testifies to his “serious concerns” about the health risks of cell phones, WiFi routers, and smart meters

Natural News: Concerns about soon-to-be-everywhere 5g technology (and really, WiFi and cellphone radiation in general) are on the rise. Studies continue to point to a substantial number of health risks associated with exposure to the radio-frequency (RF) radiation and electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation these kinds of things emit.

Despite the growing body of research which shows radio-frequency radiation is a human health hazard, the mainstream media and other puppets of the tech industry have been quick to try and shut down the conversation about what kinds of ill effects may await us beyond the gates of wireless technology.

But, in the U.S., one lone senator stands apart — demanding that these obvious health risks be tackled head-on before the rolling out of an even more potent network tech (5g) gets rolled out nation-wide....read more>>>...

Brave Spirits

The Magic of the Raven by Matthew James
Daily OM: Most of us are familiar with the idea that we are not human beings having spiritual experiences; instead, we are spiritual beings having human experiences. We hear this and even though we may experience a resounding yes in our bodies, we may not take the time to really acknowledge the truth of these statements.

Integrating this idea into how we view ourselves can broaden our sense of who we are and help us appreciate ourselves as brave spirits on an important mission to learn and grow here on earth.

As spiritual beings, we are visitors in this physical realm. The fact that we came here and lost all memory of what happened to us before we were born is one of the many reasons that it takes so much courage for a soul to incarnate on earth. This is why spiritual inquiry so often feels like a remembering--because it is. Remembering that we are spiritual beings is part of the work that we are here on earth to do...read more>>>....
