On hearing about the Rune reading the No1 son had done for our neighbour Danny*, another neighbour in our cul-de-sac decided she would like him to read for her.
Now Diane* was a private person, said nothing to anyone about her life/situation etc. She lived opposite and had no children and had married her childhood sweetheart. They had been together about 20+ years.
No1 son sat down, Diane* sat with him, we watched (and grinned)....we didn't know what he was going to say, neither did Diane*!
She had no objections to Matt & I remaining in the lounge to listen, as she thought it was just fun, a game.
No1 son went on to predict that Diane* would be going on holiday soon (odd as they never really had holidays and never went abroad)...he continued that it wasn't somewhere very hot but somewhere that rained a lot!
Then the bombshell came.....
She would not be going with her husband John* but with her next door neighbour Martin*!!!
I didn't know where to put my face and neither did Diane*.
It turned out that she was seeing her neighbour who's wife had left him and she had booked a holiday to Scotland with him!!
We took the cards off him then...this boy, age 8 was becoming too accurate for his own good!!
