Divination is the use of any one of several methods to obtain information which is not directly accessible to the conscious mind of the person asking the question. Whether you use tarot cards, or runes, or crystals, or a pendulum, or anything else, what you are actually doing is opening your end of a channel to higher wisdom. In truth, the actual" source of that wisdom irrelevant and immaterial; it could be one's own subconscious, or the collective unconscious, or a telepathic insight, or even will of the Universal Creator itself. It is still ‘additional’ information which is not has not been tainted by the limitations of the ego and its intellectual limitations.
So what is to be done then with the information obtained by divinatory means? The same things we do with any other information basically; add it to what we already know and develop a synthesis that can help in the decision-making process.
The art of divination is effectively trusting that everything and everyone is connected on a finite soul level; a level where you know more about situations and have insights relating to the greater all than you are generally consciously aware that you do know or do recognise. Self-trust is the foundation for inner knowing, and as you generate confirmations which reflect your trust, your inner knowing and accuracy increase. It is a perfect way to access inner knowledge .
