Love and hate are equal emotions,
They give rise to equilibrium in mortal lives,
To have one there must be the other,
For that is the balance of life.
Thoughts of light and thoughts of dark,
That is the reality of life,
With one there must be the other,
That is the way it must now be.
To know of the light,
One must experience the dark,
That is the learning offered,
By this distorted moment in time.
And I say distorted,
For it is not the way it should be,
Mankind, all of us have been programmed,
Programmed to accept this charade.
It is not what we are,
Darkness descended,
And the light became cut in two,
Eternally the darkness conceives plans to gain the upper hand.
It responded to the signals,
The messages from the shadows,
Those fears within our mind,
Thus it arrived as our willing servant.
Now it is the master,
And we mankind are the slave,
We are it's prisoners in chains,
We are forced to submit to its perverse desires.
But its reign of control draws to a close,
The light has now the balance,
Mankind remember now who you are,
Together we shall cast out this unwanted entity.
