The year is 1986, a very significant period in my life is unfolding. A friend at the time hands me a box with a number of audio cassettes in it. The box represented the left overs of a house clearance as my friend was leaving the UK bound for the States. One of the audio cassettes was a home recording of a Peter Gabriel album. His latest album at the time. That I didn't know back then. I played this audio cassette over and over again. "Mercy Street' has always stuck out as a very inspiring song for me. The opening atmosphere of the song always takes me back to the late 80's and an unforgettable point in my life.
