I loved the sight of the Red Rumped Parrots (Grass Parrots) freely feeding of the grasses; or perching in the trees around me; or washing themselves at the edge of the lake. They are quite distinctive Australian natives. This particular Red Rumped Parrot was pictured at Lake Tuggeranong Shoreline back in October last year.
