House Quietly Orders Pentagon to Tell Congress If It Released Weaponized Ticks

[Natural News]: ome Americans have long been concerned that tick borne illnesses are the result of the U.S. government weaponizing insects, having been labeled “conspiracy theorists” for making such claims. But now, some members of the U.S. House are voicing their own concerns that the Pentagon may have in fact weaponized disease-carrying ticks and released them—either accidentally or purposefully.

Unbeknownst to many, the House voted last week to require the Pentagon inspector general to inform Congress of experiments involving disease-infected insects. The amendment was quietly adopted via voice vote on July 11 during the House debate on the fiscal 2020 defense authorization bill, according to Roll Call.

Republican Rep. Christopher Smith from New Jersey authored the amendment that orders the Pentagon inspector general to “conduct a review of whether the Department of Defense experimented with ticks and other insects regarding use as a biological weapon between the years of 1950 and 1975.”...read more>>>...
