The top infectious disease expert made the admission during an April 13 appearance on MSNBC. “You use lockdowns to get people vaccinated so that when you open up, you won’t have a surge of infections. Fauci’s admission came in response to Mitchell’s questions about the “concerning” draconian COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai, China. “We see the lockdown in Shanghai and [the] State Department now ordering families out, all non-essential workers out of [there],” remarked the MSNBC host.
The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) lauded China for its exercise of totalitarian power under the guise of curbing COVID-19 cases. “The complete lockdown which was their approach [is the] strictest lockdown you’d never be able to implement in the United States.
