I acquired a piece of Halite in my mid-teens during a visit to the Salzberg Salt Mines in Bavaria, Germany. It has been in my crystal & mineral collection ever since. Ideal for the cleansing & re-energising of other crystals due to it being comprised mainly of rock salt. I find it also a good means of cleansing and clearing of energies after consultations and other energy workings. It appears to work on a very subtle energy level; best being combined with other crystals for best effect. Holding the Halite in one hand with Rose Quartz held in the other, appears to be the best combination for energy recovery work. It may also be applied to crystal healing in general; being good for absorbing negative energies. It is recommended to regularly clean Halite crystal in cold salty water in order to release the collected negative energies the crystal will have absorbed.
