'It's Not Too Late To Give Her Back'

The mother of Madeleine McCann has pleaded with her daughter's abductors to return the missing four-year-old. Her latest appeal comes two months after the young girl was snatched from a holiday villa in Portugal. In an interview to mark the anniversary, Kate McCann said if she had any message for the kidnappers, it would be that "it is not too late to give her back". She and husband Gerry said every day without their daughter was still "incredibly difficult" and they feel incapable of returning to their jobs as doctors. The couple said they intend to remain in Portugal for the foreseeable future.

"We are committed to staying and we feel closer to Madeleine here," Mr McCann said. "Right now we are not capable as working as doctors. We still feel a lot can be done by ourselves. What we don't want is to look back in another three or four months and say we wish had done this."

This statement had to be said. Kate is feeling the strain I intuit. It appears to be going on longer than someone around them informed them it would. There is some delay in the background.

I sense a Simon or Symmonds around the McCanns. Perhaps in their same profession. There is the network of silence as we know. But it extends far and wide in the profession. He scratches his beard/chin and is puzzled what he reads or hears. He doesn't seem to understand. Who is this man?
