This wonderful Goldfinch photograph was taken on the shoreline of Lake Windermere in the English Lake District. I'd ventured to the lakes for a planned healthy hike up a favourite mountain, and had made a stop to capture some awesome photographs of the Langdale Pikes across the lake, when I'd spotted this little fellow sitting, awaiting my arrival.
