 The Biden Administration is considering an Executive Order for digital IDs, picking up where Donald Trump’s left off during his time in the White House.

A recently leaked draft of an Executive Order shows the Biden Administration is considering expanding the required use of digital ID’s to fight fraud — a move that is being criticized by privacy advocates and civil liberties organizations. While Biden’s plans pertain to infrastructure for digital driver’s licenses, similar moves were made by former President Donald Trump under the guise of fighting illegal immigration.

Biden’s Executive Order was first reported on by NOTUS after the organization obtained a draft version. The draft viewed by NOTUS calls for federal and state governments to accelerate the adoption of so-called mobile driver’s licenses. “It is the policy of the executive branch to strongly encourage the use of digital identity documents,” the draft states.

Mobile driver’s licenses (mDL), or simply digital driver’s licenses are another form of digital identity rolling out across North America in 3 common forms. According to a guide to digital driver’s licenses, users will open the chosen app, scan the front and back of their physical driver’s license, and then verify their identity with a selfie (or similar biometric data). Once verified, the user can began using their digital ID app as they would a physical ID card.

Totalitarian Starmer leaves a hole where British values used to be

 THE conservative writer David Horowitz said that ‘inside every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out’. There is now such a progressive running our country. Having received the keys to power, the totalitarian in Sir Keir Starmer has come out.

We find ourselves, in essence, in a low-key civil war. Started by a red-green alliance of the socialist/Marxist left and fundamental Islamists and enthusiastically taken up by Starmer, it is being waged against both the traditionalists of Judeo-Christian based British culture and values and the white working-class ‘left behinds’. Traditionalists and patriots may still be in the majority, but the new left alliance and its woke fellow travellers hold the offices of power and the means to enforce whatever are its chosen policies through a politicised police force and compliant judiciary.

I live in a traditional working-class community in the predominantly working-class North East of England; historically a Labour Party stronghold – the saying goes that up here people would vote for a donkey if you pinned a red rosette on it. That all changed in 2016 with the Brexit referendum, and subsequently in the 2019 general election when the North East overwhelmingly voted for Boris Johnson, principally because of his promise to implement Brexit and stop mass immigration. The people were rebelling – and the pro-EU Establishment were not happy.

The Conservatives reneged on their promises and, betrayed by consecutive Tory governments and recognising that Labour is no longer the party of the working classes, many stayed at home in the July general election. Labour won with the support of the socialist woke and the Muslim vote. But more than four million gave their vote to Reform UK – the people were rebelling again – and the Establishment are even less happy.

Starmer is so annoyed by us commoners that he has indiscriminately smeared us as racists and thugs, fascists and Nazis, meting out his fast-tracked discipline through the courts. He is punishing those who have raised their heads above the parapet, and is trying to frighten the rest of us to duck back down into silence and obedience.

Among the blue- and white-collar working-class people of my area, resentment and discontent is rife. The most common comment is ‘this isn’t our country any more’: they feel disenfranchised from the political debate and excluded from shaping the future of their own country. Gradually, realisation has taken hold that the things they believed in, trusted and respected, have been peeled away from the society they thought they knew and were comfortable in, not least their own communities, broken by years of so called ‘liberal’ values. Now they have a hole where they thought would always be a comforting continuation of traditional British culture and heritage, pride in our history, the safety of Christian moral boundaries, and the victory of truth over lies. New study explores how food choices shape mental health

The study is the first to examine the relationship between diet quality and brain neurochemistry in humans. Thirty adults were divided into two groups based on whether they followed a high- or low-quality diet. Participants in both groups were similar in age, gender, education, income, and caloric and macronutrient intake.

The quality of the diet was defined by adherence to the Mediterranean diet. Participants reported how frequently they ate 130 different food items, their consumption frequency, and food intake habits. Screening questionnaires were administered to assess current depression, anxiety, and rumination levels. Whole brain MRI scans measured prefrontal cortex metabolite concentrations and gray matter volume.

The study found that participants in the low-quality diet group had lower levels of GABA, higher levels of glutamate, and reduced gray matter volume in the brain — markers commonly seen in depression and anxiety.  Some see God in the Machine. I can't help but see a Devil leering back at me. You might say that's a personal quirk, but it's every writer's duty to transfer neuroses to a captive audience. So stay with me here.

For the past three years, my tech coverage has been an elaboration on David Noble's incisive 1997 book The Religion of Technology. Anything I've contributed was a mere update to his core insight — that technology is religious — which Noble himself owed to centuries of previous thinkers. With careful attention to detail, though, he documented the historical evidence, weaving together an incredible story. My job is to add gloomy adjectives and smartass remarks.

This innate spiritual principle is so apparent, you'd think there's no reason to mention it at all, but it bears repeating. Technology emerged from religious culture, and so naturally, our ideas about technology are essentially religious. In the end, technology itself has become a source of religious authority and an object of religious devotion.

For a recent example, see the AI-generated image of Jesus superimposed on the Shroud of Turin. For many centuries, Catholics revered this sacred object according to their faith. Today, they look upon it through an inverted tech-gnostic lens.

Even atheists can't help but see the world with a religious aura. Left to their own devices, they desperately grasp for the divine. I believe it's due to an eternal longing within our souls. They'd probably say that's just how humans are wired.

Whatever. You say "toe-MAY-toe." I say "angels and demons."

No Going Back

 There are times when we feel that we are spinning our wheels in the mud in terms of our spiritual progress. This can be especially true following a period of major growth in which we feel as if we’ve gained a lot of ground. In fact, this is the way growth goes -- periods of intense forward movement give way to periods of what seems like stagnation. In those moments when we feel discouraged, it’s helpful to remember that we don’t ever really go backward. It may be that we are at a standstill because there is a new obstacle in our paths, or a new layer to get through, but the hard work we have done cannot be undone.

Every step on the path is meaningful, and even one that seems to take us backward is a forward step in the sense that it is what we must do to move to the next level. In addition, an intense growth spurt requires that we rest for a time in order to fully integrate the new energies that have been liberated by our hard work. When we feel we are not making progress, we can encourage ourselves to take a moment to rest. We can meditate more, feed ourselves well, and get extra sleep. Before we know it, we will be spurred on to work toward the next level of our development, and this rest will make sense then as something we needed in order to continue.

Once the sun rises, it doesn’t go backward but instead follows its path in one direction. It may appear to stand still for a moment in time, or to move more slowly at some point or another, but really it is steadily moving forward on its path. We are the same way, and once we have moved through something we can never really go back. We may be resting or revisiting issues that seem old, and it’s natural to feel stuck, but in truth we are always taking the next important step forward on our path. (Daily OM)

 Freedom of speech is dying. You can now be thrown in jail for posting something on social media that the government doesn’t like and the UK seems to be one of the worst countries in the West, a Norwegian author says.

Will I be arrested for this video the next time I go to the UK? he asks.

Bjorn Andreas Bull-Hansen, a Norwegian novelist and YouTuber, posted a short video on Sunday about UK authorities arresting people for social media posts. Bull-Hansen has been to England and Scotland many times. “I love England and Scotland,” he said. “And it saddens to me to see what’s been going on there, especially in England.”

“I honestly don’t know what it takes, I honestly don’t know what is allowed to say over there anymore. It’s a mess and we’re going to talk a little bit about it and the problems in the UK here in this video,” he said.

Researchers from the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) and Yonsei University in South Korea have engineered mice that have nanoparticle-activated “switches” inside their brains.

The technology has been dubbed “Nano-MIND” and combines genetics, nanoparticles, and magnetic fields. It allows researchers to remotely activate circuits of the brain.

To achieve this, ion channels were integrated into the target areas of brain cells. These ion channels could be turned on and off remotely, pulling at the nanoparticles of the brain cells when the magnetic field was active.

Significant differences in food intake were noted when the mice were in and outside of the magnetic field, suggesting that the desire to feed could be manipulated remotely.

It is hoped the groundbreaking technology could provide future treatments for disorders that affect emotions, social behaviours and appetite.

Jinwoo Cheon, senior author and director of the IBS Center for Nanomedicine, explained: “This is the world’s first technology to freely control specific brain regions using magnetic fields.”

They continued: “We expect it to be widely used in research to understand brain functions, sophisticated artificial neural networks, two-way brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies, and new treatments for neurological disorders.”...<<<Read More>>>....

A registered trade union for those in the profession of nursing in the U.K. has just issued new guidelines on situations where they can refuse to treat and withdraw care from patients and this includes clients who would oppose illegal migration because they deem them "racists."

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) indicated in the Aug. 6 updated guidelines that some situations may justify refusing treatment, withdrawing care or finding an alternative.

"In response to comments made by Health Secretary Wes Streeting, we've updated our guidance on when and how members can refuse to treat a patient in their care. We recognize that every patient interaction is unique and this will be the most difficult decision for RCN members," RCN said in a statement on its website.

According to RCN, the new set of rules is related to the ongoing racist attacks. It claimed that most of them have targeted nursing staff. The health secretary reportedly expressed commitment to dealing with the "racist abuse of all health workers" and decided that this is grounds for turning away patients.

"I am demanding the government ensures anybody targeting our members pays a very heavy price. Hearing that nurses going to work in Sunderland came under attack is unforgivable," Professor Nicola Ranger, RCN general secretary and chief executive said. "Migrant nursing staff are precious members of our communities, hardwired into the very DNA of our health and care services. Our international colleagues are welcome, valued and owed a debt of gratitude."

RCN said that "racism has no place in our society" and as an anti-racist organization, it will take a lead part in tackling this hatred.

In March 2014, scientists from Indiana University announced that they had conducted research to examine the operations of the fruit fly genome “in greater detail than ever before possible” and had identified “thousands of new genes, transcripts and proteins.”

Their results indicated that the fly’s genome is “far more complex than previously suspected and suggests that the same will be true of the genomes of other higher organisms.”

Of the approximately 1,500 new genes that were discovered, 536 of them were found within areas that were previously assumed to be gene-free zones. Furthermore, when the flies were subjected to stresses, small changes in expression level at thousands of genes occurred, and four newly modelled genes were expressed altogether differently.

Why is this important? Because it reveals how little we know about this planet and the organisms dwelling on it, yet also how much we think we know. This kind of hubris is found within all areas of human knowledge, but particularly when it comes to science.

WHO is influenced by big pharmaceutical companies, he told the Chamber, it lacks transparency in its dealings and there is conflict of interest with vaccine sales. WHO is a corrupt organisation and its director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has unchecked power.

In the recent past, both WHO and the Therapeutic Goods Administration have failed in their regulatory duties, serving political agendas rather than the public interest. The time of blind trust in the WHO’s narrative is over; it’s now the age of “prove it,” he said.

Regulatory agencies that are meant to protect the public fall under undue influence from the industries they regulate. The WHO is a corrupt organisation that is designed to funnel taxpayer money to its billionaire donors. Australian taxpayers gave $30 million to the WHO last year, likely as a show of loyalty.

Transparency is lacking. Major donors include GAVI, a vaccine alliance funded by corporations tied to predatory giants like BlackRock and Vanguard, who also own large shares in pharmaceutical companies.

The WHO’s monkeypox emergency, declared solely by its director-general, Tedros Ghebreyesus, highlights the unchecked power of the position. This decision created a market for four already-approved vaccines linked to companies backed by BlackRock and Vanguard, ensuring massive profits for their shareholders. A new monkeypox vaccine is expected soon, likely fast-tracked by compromised regulators like Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (“TGA”).

The WHO previously tried to raise alarm over monkeypox but found little public concern, so they rebranded it as “mpox” to push vaccine sales. Obligations

 We all encounter obligations in life, from spending time with family and friends to being present at important functions in the lives of the people who form our community. Many times, the obligations are actually fun and fulfilling, and we want to be there. At the same time, we all sometimes experience resistance to meeting these obligations, especially when they pile up all at once and we begin to feel exhausted, longing for a quiet evening at home. At times like these, we may want to say no but feel too guilty at the idea of not being there. Still, our primary obligation is to take care of ourselves, and if saying no to someone else is what we have to do, then we do not need to feel bad about it.

There is a skill to balancing our obligations, and it starts with simply becoming aware of our schedule. We may notice that three invitations have arisen in one weekend, and we know that we will pay energetically if we attempt to fulfill all three. At this point, we can take the time to weigh the repercussions of not going to each event, considering how we will feel if we miss it and how our absence might affect other people. Most of the time, it will be clear which obligation we can most easily let go and which one we simply can’t miss. Sometimes we have to miss something really important to us, and that can be painful for everyone concerned. At times like this, reaching out with a phone call, a thoughtful card, or a gift lets people know that you are there in spirit and that your absence is by no means a result of you not caring.

Meeting our obligations to others is an important part of being human and not one to take lightly. At the same time, we cannot meet every obligation without neglecting our primary duty to take care of ourselves. We can navigate this quandary by being conscious of what we choose to do and not do and by finding concrete ways to extend our caring when we are not able to be there in person. (Daily OM)

 The dangers of ultra-processed plant-based foods have been highlighted in a recent Lancet study, indicating that these products could increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality, offsetting the health benefits typically associated with a plant-based diet.

Government report links fluoride intake to lowered IQ in children

The United States government has once again found that consuming fluoride is really dangerous, especially for children.

A new report from the National Toxicology Program (NTP), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), reveals that exposure to fluoridated water at levels twice the recommended limit of 0.7 milligrams per liter (mg/l) of water is linked to lower IQ. Keep in mind that prior to 2015, the government-recommended fluoride level for drinking water was 1.5 mg/l.

For many decades – and still in some U.S. cities today that have not adjusted their fluoride levels to the new 0.7 mg/l standard – children across the U.S. have been forced to consume and bathe in water that was fluoridated at levels of 1.5 mg/l, which the NTP now admits causes brain damage and lowers IQ in children.

The new study, which includes data and analyses from previously published research, marks the first time that a U.S. federal agency has determined "with moderate confidence" that fluoride damages children's brains.

Noticing is different from simply seeing or hearing. If I say that I see a bowl of fruit on the table or I hear a dog barking down the street, it's possible that the fruit bowl has just been placed there, or the dog has woken up and is barking for the first time. But if I say that I notice the fruit bowl or the dog barking, the implication is that it was there already, but I have only just now taken note of it.

Many people in the Resistance point to the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act as the start of the crisis. But the Central Intelligence Agency (“CIA”) has been running the country at least since the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963.

Perhaps the crisis began when the US imported Nazi and Japanese bioweapons scientists after World War II?

Others pinpoint the start of the crisis to the creation of the Federal Reserve and the imposition of the federal income tax in 1913 that enabled the US to become a modern global empire.

I’ve argued before that covid is just the continuation of global conquest, colonisation, and empire that began in 1492.

Perhaps the problem began when we stopped being hunter-gatherers and first became farmers (to make beer, according to one leading theory)

Nearly 14,000 Britons seek government payments for COVID-19 vaccine injuries

Nearly 14,000 Britons have applied for government payouts due to the harm caused by Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) injections, according to the Daily Expose.

The United Kingdom's Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS), first established in 1979, is managed by the British Department for Health and Social Care. The VDPS offers a one-time payment of £120,000 ($157,080) to individuals who are severely disabled as a result of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19.

The scheme has processed around 16,000 applications since its establishment. But is worth noting that as per recent figures obtained by the Telegraph, almost 14,000 of these are related to the COVID-19 vaccines.

The surge in claims has led to a significant increase in administrative support, with VDPS staff numbers rising from four to 80 last year. Despite the increase, only 175 payments have been approved – amounting to less than two percent of all applications.  We live in strange, difficult and confusing times.

In some ways, largely material, we are richer than any of our ancestors.

In other ways, largely spiritual, we are infinitely poorer.

Most of us live in well-equipped homes that our great-grandparents would marvel at. We have access to (relatively) clean drinking water at the turn of a tap. We can obtain light to work by and heat to cook by at the flick of a switch. Our homes are stuffed with possessions. We have automatic ovens, washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers, food blenders, vacuum cleaners, television sets, DVD players, computers, mobile telephones and a whole host of other devices designed either to make our working hours easier or our leisure hours more enjoyable. If we want to travel anywhere, we can climb into our own motor cars or we can (sometimes) use public buses, trains or aeroplanes.

We have become so dependent upon these “things” that when they break down, we become aggressive and irritable. We can’t cope without them.

We are surrounded by the gaudy signs of our wealth and the physical consequences of human ambition and endeavour, but loneliness, unhappiness, anxiety and depression are now commoner than ever before in our history. There has never before been so much sadness, dissatisfaction and frustration as there is today. The demand for tranquillisers and sleeping tablets has risen steadily throughout the last few decades as our national and individual wealth has multiplied.

We have access to sophisticated communication systems and yet never before have we been so aware of our ignorance. We have more power over our environment than our ancestors ever dreamt of having and yet we are regularly reminded of our helplessness and our vulnerability. We are materially wealthy and yet spiritually deprived. We have conquered our planet and begun to conquer space and yet we are continually reminded of our woeful inability to live at peace with one another....<<<Read More>>>...
