Fastest Speeder Ever Admits 172mph Spin

Sky News Headline; says: 'A motorist has pleaded guilty to driving at 172mph on a rural A-road, making him the fastest speeder ever caught in Britain. im Brady, 33, was spotted racing along the A420 near Abingdon, Oxfordshire, during a random speed check in January.

He was behind the wheel of a £98,000 3.6-litre Porsche 911 Turbo.

In 2003, car dealer Jason McAllister was caught doing 156mph in his 3.2-litre BMW M3 in Scotland.

Brady, appearing at Oxford Crown Court, admitted one count of dangerous driving.

A spokeswoman for road safety charity Brake said: "The idea of someone driving at that speed is horrific. The chances that a person will be able to control a vehicle at that speed, if something unexpected happens, is slim. It is extremely selfish. Nobody has the right to put other people's lives at risk like that."

McAllister was jailed for five months.

That's nearly 280km/h here .... oops ... that would be a LIFE sentence if the cops caught him over here doing that speed. You get arrested for doing 30km/h over the 100 km/h (60mph) national limit. Imagine the revenue for doing only 80mph and getting arrested ..... dor!
