In experiencing the Good Red Road, one learns the lessons of physical life. This road travels from south to north in the circle of the Medicine Wheel. After the graduation experience of death, one enters the Blue or Black Road, which is the world of the grandfathers and the grandmothers. In spirit, one continues to learn by counselling those remaining on the Good Red Road. The Blue Road of spirit runs from East to West.

Starchild: The search for its nuclear DNA

Since the first testing of the Starchild skull began scientifically, the ultimate goal has been to recover and sequence its nuclear DNA. Only then, by "reading" the DNA of both its parents, can there be any certainty been known relating to its genetic heritage. However, until now all attempts have been thwarted because the chemical "primers" used in DNA recovery could never "locate" the Starchild's nuclear DNA. In seven attempts, not one "pickup" was made. This is a strong indication (but not yet an inarguable proof) that the Starchild's nuclear DNA is not entirely human.

It is difficult to prove that the Starchild (SC) IS alien, but there is already significant evidence that it is NOT entirely human. No expert, no scientist, and no doctor has ever been able to prove that the SC is 100% human. View images (whole exclusive DNA photographs) which present compelling evidence that the SC may very well prove to be a human-alien hybrid, with a human mother and an alien father.

There are two types of DNA: mitochondrial (mtDNA) from the mother only, and the more difficult to recover nuclear DNA (nuDNA) from both mother and father. The images on the web site show the actual gel sheets used to test the mtDNA and nuDNA from the Starchild and the Adult Female (AF) found with it.

But to summarise the findings: Carbon 14 dating reveals that the remains of the Starchild and the Adult Female are both 900 years old +/- 40 years. Bone chemistry scans indicates they lived in the same general area of high desert where their bodies were allegedly found. After death, their remains lay together in the same mine tunnel, corroborated by identical mineral encrustation on the surface of the bones. It would logically follow that both skulls would have experienced the same level of natural DNA degradation, and DNA should have been equally easy to extract from both. The Adult Female's maternal and paternal DNA was easily recovered, yet only the Starchild's maternal DNA was recoverable using the human-only primers that seek out human DNA. The incredible--but logical--conclusion is that the Starchild paternal DNA is simply not responsive to HUMAN primers, meaning that the Starchild's father is not entirely human.

This is considered to be the most forensically accurate facial depiction of the Starchild to date. It is the product of many hours of research and labour by Rob Roy E. Menzies, a talented graphic artist and musician from Alaska.

Sixty to seventy years ago an American girl of Mexican heritage in her late teens (15 to 18) was taken by her parents to visit relatives living in a small rural village 100 miles southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico. The girl was forbidden to enter any of the area's numerous caves and mine tunnels, but like most teenagers, she went exploring.

At the back of a mine tunnel she found a complete human skeleton lying on the ground's surface. Beside it, sticking up out of the ground, was a malformed skeletal hand entwined in one of the human skeleton's upper arms. The girl proceeded to scrape the dirt off a shallow grave to reveal a buried skeleton smaller than the human one and also malformed. She did not specify the type or degree of any of the "malformations.”

The girl recovered both skulls and kept them for the remainder of her life. Upon her death they were passed to an American man, who maintained possession for five years before passing them to the American couple who now control them.

Kate and Gerry make Spain plea

Gerry and Kate McCann told a press conference in Madrid they believe that Maddie may be in Spain. Gerry said: “We know the Spanish love children. We think it is possible she was bought here.” He added: “We pray she is looked after and that whoever has her gives her up voluntarily and drops her at a church or a safe place.”Maddy's parents made an appeal live on Spanish TV yesterday for her safe return, pleading with her captor to leave her at a church.

The McCanns are in Madrid to publicise the disappearance and urged Spanish cops to launch an investigation. Next week they visit Berlin, Amsterdam and Morocco.

There is substantial links in Daily Merlin transcripts and castings to suggest -- to me -- that whoever has Maddy are devotedly religious and are aware of what is going on. Interesting is the bald headed man with sunglasses in the background in the image above. I anticipate this person will have been investigated by Law Enforcement ... surely ... he is after all staring right at the McCanns. I know too this photograph has been subjected to the scrutiny of psychic forums investigating the disappearance.

A Famous 'Red Herring'

The so-called bloodline created by the "Priory" does not exist. There is no descent from Jesus through the Merovingians or other families; in fact there is no genuine evidence of any bloodline descended from Christ.

In recent years, a great deal of information has been published in books like Holy Blood, Holy Grail alleging that the Holy Grail actually refers to a bloodline descended from Jesus. By this account Jesus and Mary Magdalene produced offspring, and their descendants gave rise to the Merovingian dynasty, which ruled France from 476 to 750 A.D. Well intentioned readers and even authors have been deceived by this story and have mistaken it for the revelation of a suppressed history. Unfortunately the only thing that has been suppressed is the truth.

The Grail is not a bloodline. This false story originated in reams of fraudulent documents created by an extreme right-wing French sect. The group responsible for these fictions, calling itself the "Priory of Sion" and claiming an ancient esoteric lineage, has kept its own authentic history carefully hidden. How it constructed its fraud has not been revealed. It is long past time for the light of truth to reveal the "Priory of Sion" and the fictional bloodline it has promoted for what they are really are -- a fraud. The background of this group reveals its actual motives and sources of information.

The real Priory of Sion was an authentic Catholic monastic order. A priory is a religious house or order. Sion or Zion is the ancient name for Jerusalem, where the order was headquartered at the monastery of Our Lady of Mt. Zion. It transferred its headquarters to St. Leonard d'Acre in Palestine and later to Sicily. In 1617 it ceased to exist and was absorbed into the Jesuit order.It was never a seething cabal of esoteric and political interests, never had any influence over the Templars or any esoteric orders, and does not exist today as a legitimate order, Catholic or otherwise. It has been appropriated like many authentic histories, esoteric traditions, and orders to create a false history.

The "Priory" constructed its fiction of the bloodline of Jesus by first creating the appearance of an authentic esoteric lineage for itself. It accomplished this by placing fabricated histories in libraries, by falsely associating itself with ancient esoteric groups, and by usurping the heritage of prewar esoteric groups. The group the "Priory" has plagiarized most from is the Order of the Rose-Croix of the Temple and the Grail, founded by Josephin Péladan in 1891.

The "Priory's" first objective is to position itself in the mind of an unknowing public as the supreme Western esoteric organization. It dreams of utilizing that constituency in a synarchy-like fashion to promote its hybrid agenda of right-wing politics and turn-of-the-century esoteric teachings. It does not represent the real teachings of any positive esoteric order. It is materialistic, obsessed with attaining influence, and has fabricated documents without regard for any ethical considerations. Its program is to manipulate people through lies in order to promote itself.

The Path of The Lightning Flash

Besides what has been discussed previously in ALITD, 'The Lightning Flash' has another significance in Cabalistic theory. 4 charged with terror plot at JFK airport

Very ominous.Will Chicago airport be the next target now the terrorism has seemingly turned its attention to US airports?

CNN Headline, says:
Four men have been charged with conspiring to blow up jet fuel supply tanks and pipelines at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Homeland Security sources said there is no current threat at the airport and the attack as planned was "not technically feasible."

The alleged plot did not target airplane flights, officials said.

A wiretap transcript given to CNN by the FBI indicates the plotters targeted the airport because of the popularity its namesake, John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963.

"Anytime you hit Kennedy, it is the most hurtful thing to the United States. To hit John F. Kennedy, wow ... they love JFK -- he's like the man," former JFK airport cargo worker Russell Defreitas said in a telephone conversation monitored by the FBI.

As incredible and unbelievable as it seems ... is Chicago Airport (or another USA Airport) going to be the next 9/11? Malta clashes with Council of Europe over 'gender inequality'

The Maltese government has clashed with the Council of Europe by shortlisting three male judges for European Court nominations even though the Council said one must be a woman.

Member states of the Council, a pan-European organisation that aims to protect human rights, nominate three people, one of whom is chosen to sit at the European Court.

Malta's present judge, a man, just turned 70 and will retire.

Last month a legal affairs committee of the Council of Europe proposed that one-gender short lists may be accepted in exceptional circumstances, but an Equal Opportunities Committee rejected the proposal.

Madeleine: 'Mystery DNA' found in her bedroom

'How to regain confidence in the more traditional of policing methods' Lesson 1. Predictable media ... to me anyway (who else?) What other evidence is known by Law Enforcement which is being withheld? The trail is 'hotter' than the glacier path they make out it is ... mark my words.

Police searching for Madeleine McCann have found DNA from a mystery "sixth" person was in the bedroom where she was abducted, it has been claimed.

The Portuguese police, Policia Judiciara, have handed the sample to the national forensic laboratories, the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal, according to local newspaper 24 Horas.

Neither does the DNA match that of the only named suspect in the case, property developer Robert Murat, the paper added. It does not match the DNA of Mr and Mrs McCann or their three children, the paper said. It quoted a source from the laboratory who said: "There is a new suspect, there is DNA which does not correspond to the family.

"It is an important step in the investigation but the truth is that the DNA collected does not have a name. In other words we cannot make any connection between the material collected and the suspects which we already have."

Police hunting for Madeleine McCann launched a 2am raid on the South London home of an innocent woman in her 70s. Officers acting on behalf of Portuguese police have targeted at least two properties in South London with similar addresses - both have the same house number and road name and are less than five miles apart.

News of the searches came after Portugal's Policia Judiciaria said they were following leads from psychics and clairvoyants. It is understood they are clutching to the hope that Madeleine's abductor might pose as someone with psychic powers so that he could free her, tell police of a vision identifying where she could be found - and avoid detection.

There was no sign at either address of Madeleine, who was taken from the holiday apartment of her parents Gerry and Kate in the Algarve on May 3.

British police would not confirm if some of these leads were being passed on and it is not known if the London searches were due to such a tip.

Perhaps its because some clairvoyant or psychic somewhere has revealed the trail and has moved in close to the truth ... too close for comfort perhaps?

Madeleine: Is Robert Murat suspect or scapegoat?

"They held me for all that time, but they didn't even take a DNA sample from me," he told me, incredulously. "Can you believe that? I would happily have provided a swab."

This guy is 'very suspicious' in my opinion. Using this photograph for psychometry, provides very odd and uncomfortable links indeed. Unsavoury and suspicious are the only words to describe the impressions I receive from it. Be interesting to discover who the male with black hair and the blonde woman are who he knows. Very suspicious circumstances surround this man ... is there something Law Enforcement or a Government Agency are not permitting to be revealed around this guy? He is certainly close to the McCanns; knows more about them than he lets on ... and has a very wide sphere of influence via the web network . His business dealings appear to be well hidden; the drag net which Law Enforcement are supposed to have used to investigate him barely scratch the surface. I feel I must call him 'the watcher' ...perhaps 'the juggler' because he is such a risk taker .....

Last Wednesday, while Gerry and Kate McCann were in Rome imploring the Pope to pray for the safe return of their four-year-old daughter, Madeleine, I spent a disquieting afternoon on the Algarve, drinking coffee with Robert Murat.

Eighteen days ago, this enigmatic, Portuguese-raised Englishman was arrested on suspicion of abducting Madeleine from a holiday apartment just 120 yards from the villa he shares with his widowed mother, Jenny.

Murat was released without charge after 19 hours of questioning. Yet today - a month after Madeleine's hauntingly pretty face first became etched in our collective nightmares - he remains the only formally identified police suspect.

Ordinarily, of course, an accused man retains his innocence until proven guilty. But this is no ordinary case. The McCanns' increasingly desperate publicity campaign (yesterday they were in Madrid) has made it the most high-profile child abduction in history.

t has also been suggested that he coldly volunteered to assist in the hunt for Madeleine to glean inside information, and remain one step ahead of the police investigation, just as Ian Huntley did after the Soham murders.

Weighed with various accrued morsels of suspicion against him - an unexplained 11.40pm phone call on the night of the abduction; a car hired hastily two days later - some close observers have concluded that Murat is, indeed, the monster who took Madeleine, and that it is only a matter of time before he is formally charged with her abduction.

Over the forthcoming days, they may yet be proved right, though given the performance of the Portuguese police, this seems unlikely. For the story Murat had to tell me raises profound and disturbing questions about the nature of the Madeleine investigation.

Assuming Murat is telling the truth, this is a jaw- dropping omission, and throws the entire forensic operation into question.

'Daughter of the Firmament, Dweller of The Waters'

The Path of Yzaddi comprises the relationship between the Spheres of the Pillar of Mercy and the subtle forces of Yesod. Path 28 symbolises the complex web of relationships which link together all living things including human beings. It includes what is known as Ecology. Chiron - The Wounded Healer

Upon his death he was placed in the heavens as The Archer, Sagittarius, as a reward for his wondrous work on Earth.

In mythology, Chiron (pronounced 'Ki ....ron') was a centaur who's father was Chronos (Saturn) and was conceived when his Father had a secret affair with Philyra, daughter of Oceanus. Chiron was born half man and half horse (symbolic only -MJ), which revealed to all, at the time, that his father had been unfaithful. His birth took place in a cave on Mt Pelion. The place he spent most of his life in later years. Within the cave, he devoted most of his life to healing, music, astrology and the Esoteric. Unlike the rest of the Centaurs who were restless, drunken and troublesome, Chiron was a very gentle soul. In time he became teacher to many of the great heroes of the time. To Archilles & Asclepious he taught healing and surgery, so they could tend to the fallen after battle. He taught Astrology to Hercules. Among the many others who visited Chiron on Mt Pelion to hear his great wisdom, were Jason, Acktaoon & Peleus.

He taught countless heroes not only to sharpen their wits, but also to clarify their minds through arts and philosophy. His teachings included the theory of the spirit rising through the habitual and animalistic mortal realm into the imaginative realms of the ethereal.

His Wife was the Naiad, Charicles. To Chiron she bore a powerful daughter, Thea. Who in later years became a feared Prophetess and visionary. Chiron was brother to Hades (Pluto) and Zeus (Jupiter).

Chiron became wounded when his close friend Hercules accidentally fired a poisoned arrow into his right ankle on a hunting trip. Though Chiron was a powerful healer, he was unable to heal himself. Because of his immortality, his mortal wound proved to be a constant sufferance to him. Thea prophesised his eventual death and release from this constant torture. To overcome the pain he had to forego his immortality, heal then his mortal wound as if he were a human being. His transformation from immortality to man was performed by Poseidon. Upon his death he was placed in the heavens as The Archer, Sagittarius, as a reward for his wondrous work on Earth.

Chiron is usually associated with the Tarot trump, The Hierophant. Because he was wounded he was able to heal others of their wounds because of the pain he carried himself. The principle being simple -- most human beings bear a sore spot. A pain they bear with them through their lives. Through empathy of others, Chiron was able to heal others of this pain because he bore and understood the pain himself. This is the principle of 'Empathetic Healing' ... a healer able to counsel and heal others who bear the same wound as they.

Chiron spent his life trying to find other's with the same injury as him so they might heal him of his burden.

The 4 Of Staves literally represents initiative, ambition, drive and desire. Staves are the suit of enterprise and risk-taking.

A Four in this suit is the teamwork card, often symbolized by two couples who have come together to create something profitable and enduring. Quite likely, they will bequeath a gift to the future -- a business etc. They represent the founding families of the future community that will grow around their inspiration. Teamwork is the key.

It takes time to build a grand vision; and other people of ambition and talent must be attracted to it for it to fulfill its potential. What we see here is the start-up group, the founding visionaries committing their energies to designing the blueprints and laying the groundwork. This partnership is the prototype for society or any grouping where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts

There still is hope in the world

Aware of presence; of sombre intelligences standing ... merely watching. A tightly knit band of once-humans. Leaning to see -- peering over the safety rail at the edge of some precipice. Below them is the sea. Behind them is the fading sun at the end of another weary day. I tiring day ... even for them.

No names filter. No indication of location. But I had my awareness led to the eddys and whirlpools of a fading wake. As a boat passes it by ... I ponder ... and wonder what it is these rather solemn elders are trying to say ...

They came but nobody died. There still is hope in this world ... but it is small comfort for the ones truly alone in this world; who are taken from everything they know and recognise. Thrown into an ever changing world ... a kaleidoscope of images too strange to understand. These elder voices do their best to help the lost understand -- sometimes they are heard -- but it offers little comfort between tears and sorrow.

Ahead now a landscape is appearing, my attention led to there ... a landmass approaching ... a narrows ... even in the twilight I can recognise this place though with human eyes I have never beheld. Aboard this vessel all sleep who are permitted to sleep. But others sit and listen and plan. For they know all is not well. It is not what it was and what it should be. Until perhaps a day or two before it all went well. Then there was a change and it all had to be adjusted -- without rehearsal they undertook their sketchy plan B ... and now they desperately attempt to keep to the schedule ... somehow they will.

The elders return. Their presence fills my mind. There is nothing this world can do now but wait. For surely silence will not prevail. Surely ... there is intention. There is purpose. There is something which approaches which will have to be known.

The Keeper of Crescents: a meeting - between 'king' and the 'mermaid goddess' at the temple atop the rock within the ocean? A holy place ... a place of significant meaning. Two black haired men are the perpetrators ... they carefully planned the surveillance by camera and by a network web --- within the centre of this web was 'the face of the moon'? With the king and the goddess; two other women will be present ... one with neptune's trident gripped tightly in her hand?

The perpetrators aware of the significance and of the growing awareness in this world. One man has hair black, straight free from beard or moustache. Around 35 - 40 in age. The other black, hair untidy; touching the neck line but not on the shoulders; with beard and moustache -- neither expect to be caught. Their role now over -- will merely watch with interest the meeting between the 'king', the 'goddess' and the other two. The 'king' is the keeper of the dream ... it is his down to his decision in the end.

Greys = The Gallu?

In the Enuma elish, the Babylonian version of the Creation Epic, it was Marduk who conceived the idea of 'creating a clever device to help the gods'. Revealing this idea to his father, Enki, Marduk said, 'I shall bring into existence a robot; it shall be charged with the service of the gods and thus they will be relived.' Enki, however, answered him by suggesting a different proposition, that of 'putting the mark of the gods onto a race which already existed.' (Adding their genetic imprint to a race of humans already on planet earth.)

It is explained that a race 'neither male nor female' were created for the purpose -- namely that of venturing into 'No Man's Land to rescue the goddess Inanna. The true nature of these creatures was 'eunuch'. Possessing organs of both sexes, they were of no real sex. They were androids or robots.

Holding a wand or weapon, these androids belonged to a class of emissaries known as Gallu - 'demons' . These Gallu were described as 'those who had no mother, who have no father; neither sister or brother; nor wife or child; they know not food; they know not water. They flutter in the skies over earth like wardens.

Have these androids of ancient lore returned in recent times?

This is a pertinent question, because of the way in which the occupants of UFO's have been described by witnesses who have encountered them to be of undetermined sex; a plastic skin; conical heads; oval eyes -- humanlike in shape but definitely not human; and behaving like androids. The description of these 'creatures' is very similar to ancient descriptions of the Gallu -- and is probably not by accident.

Covert Expectations

The trees may appear as trees but are not really trees

Suddenly I'm at a loss for energy. Momentum-less I stand on the winding road as the hitch-hiker with my thumb out trying to gain a lift; whereas before I was the marathon runner -- the wind in my hair; the sun in my face -- with a good rhythm. The progress was effortless, taking each twist and each turn in my stride. Gaining a second wind with ease. But today ... it went away. I was left feeling deflated. At a loss and disorientated; finding myself in a landscape I don't recognise. So today has been a struggle. Life has become taciturn, full of misgivings and little secrets in its shady corners. I'm ill at ease ... with a rucksack on my back now seemingly full of red herrings.

I gaze to the horizon and see only more of the same (again). Ahead of me a familiar shade stands waiting; also trying to hitch a ride ...

'Aaah despondency my good friend; what are your troubles today?' I ask, 'you seem as perturbed as I. Maybe we should hitch a ride together and share the burden. Maybe ... maybe not.' I note the sad face and decide against a kindred spirit. I am reminded enough by my own thoughts.

I choose instead to endure this perpetual monotony. No vehicle passes in which I could perchance an easy ride. Rain falls and dampens my spirits further. The manic day passes to eventual night and I gaze to the skies for any sight of the night wonders. For the stars ... for the guiding light which I seek.

Ahead over the distant mountains, beyond the line of darker shadow I know are the clouds, I see a hint of that precious light. It is flickering weakly, but at least its jewel still stands out in the firmament. It can still be perceived. Its heartbeat still beats that vibration. That magnet still pulls this questing heart.

I choose then to leave behind this sinuous trail, finding a break in the damp undergrowth. Breaking through I find the heart of a gloomy copse of trees. Within this grove I perceive a growing light. I am in awe of presence. A hint of communion perhaps. Maybe a rapture to break this sardonic spell. Maybe ...

I encounter there a circle of ancient stones; within a hollow dank and damp I stand. Touching bravely those ancient sarcens; pushing back the clammy moss ... gazing then at the shining countenances --- perceiving a vibration; the very heartbeat of this realm. I perceive the answers are there around me. Because the trees may appear as trees but are not really trees. They are only what I think them to be. I look closer ... and perceive the means to shatter the gloom ...

I retrace my tracks back to the road. I gaze back into the distance ... and gaze at the dot to dot lights within the firmament. Again, I find that guiding light ... and realise now my vision will never again be the same.

Who decides whether America will attack Iran?

Does "The Decider" decide on war? Has Congress given George Bush a green light to attack Iran?

Here are some of the thoughts that spring to mind.The answer to both questions is no, and here's why:The people who participated in the last election did so believing that the United States Constitution was still in force. We still believe that.We know that the Constitution, the supreme law of the United States, permits only Congress to declare war. Congress has not declared war on Iran.The acting president, George W. Bush, is bound by the Constitution to faithfully execute the laws of the nation, and he is bound by oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.Having settled those questions definitively, we might question whether the United States should even consider declaring war on Iran.The answer to that question is no, and here's why:Most important of all, Iran does not pose a clear and present danger to the United States. On the other hand, the United States has a long history of being a clear and present danger to many countries, almost always claiming falsely that its intentions were to promote peace.

But in the last 110 years, peace-loving Americans have fought Spain, Germany twice, Austria-Hungary, Japan, Italy, North Korea, North Vietnam, Iraq twice and Serbia. We have intervened militarily in the Philippines, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Lebanon, and Grenada. We bombed Libya.

There were many others, some still in progress.

The United States federal government armed other nations and encouraged them to attack others on our behalf. Our government promotes war for power and financial gain.The other important reason why the United States should not consider declaring war on Iran is that our government can no longer be trusted to tell the truth. At every opportunity, our government has lied to us and to the world. Everyone over the age of four has witnessed this. Everyone over the age of sixty can feel their stomachs tighten right now. Henceforth we are forced to conclude that everything that the US government tells us is false. Everything.

Another important reason why the United States should not consider declaring war on Iran is that our old media, what some call the mainstream media, cannot be trusted to inform the American public honestly. The American media are in partnership with the federal government, and the lies that are generated by the government are relayed faithfully by the media.

This leaves the American public largely misinformed and unequipped to command lawful representation in their Congress.

The last important reason why the United States should not consider declaring war on Iran is that the world--including a great many Americans--won't stand for it. If the Congress declares war on Iran, the United States federal government will be inviting extraordinary retaliation from every corner of the globe, beginning right at home.

"As the investigation continues, police in Portugal said they were trawling through hoards of emails and messages from clairvoyants who say they know where Madeleine whereabouts.

The Policia Judiciara (PJ) said they had two dossiers, 8cm thick, of apparent visions and sightings of the little girl. They are trying to find out if one of the messages could be from the kidnapper.

PJ spokesman Olegario Sousa said each clairvoyant claim was being taken seriously.

Asked if he thought they could be from Madeleine’s abductor, he said: “That is one of the reasons that we cannot discard anything. We must check them all in case it might be from the kidnapper.“

But the problem is the same, if there are indications which are enough to follow then we will go.

“If there isn’t, we cannot do anything.” Mr Sousa said some descriptions were as vague as dreams about a man in a house with trees and a road.

“Some of the information is about precise location or co-ordinates and that allows us to go to the place and we will check it. Just a few days ago we got one address near Lagos but it didn’t amount to anything.”Mr Sousa said he did not believe they had heard from Madeleine’s abductor:

“If it was a message from the kidnapper, it will offer enough clues to help us to go to the right place.”

The police spokesman said it was not unusual to investigate the claims of clairvoyants but added it was only one line of investigation.

“In this case the amount of information we have received is huge,” he said. “Any information that comes to us, if there is enough to follow, we will check.”

He said the visions - which are sent through every day - came from a mix of Portuguese and British sources. Psychics have also contacted several news organisations in the UK about Madeleine."

Blair hails Bush climate targets

Referring to next week's G8 summit in Germany the Prime Minister went on: "It sets the right framework for next week's meeting.

Prime Minister Tony Blair has hailed US President George Bush's announcement on climate change as "a huge step forward". The president committed America for the first time to setting targets to cut its own greenhouse gas emissions. And he called for a global warming summit later this year to seek a new international consensus. Mr Blair, speaking on a visit to South Africa, told Sky News: "This is what we have been working for all the way through because the important thing is we need a deal in which America as well as China and India - in which all these countries are involved for the first time - and a deal that's about cutting these dangerous emissions.
