There is a silent night sky
The moon hides behind thick black cloud
Autumnal cold raises s shiver and warm fur is pulled tight to cold skin
Fuming breath then cold lips as the air slowly freezes
Flash backs to the summer months which have sadly passed by
Returning back then to the task at hand ...
The treacherous crossing of the moving glacier
With added dangers lurking in all directions
... narrow crevasses ready to ensnare the unwary
Progress slow, hampered by the arctic light cold
A seeming wasted trail ... the logical brain complains
and activates the ego to assume control; calling a halt to the quest ...
But the mission continues
Amid the frenzy of one more snow fall
Instant freezing cold with the threat of frostbite
and still the traveller continues the desperate quest
Time and space is forgotten as the world becomes a white
Fear fades then as the ego vanishes and the true individual pervades
The adventure exhilarating; addictive and alluring; death is faced
and its threat endured; a reality so painless
it becomes transcended and the bubble on the illusion burst
The scene set dissolves and the real picture appears
The traveller the merlin... skilled in dream control
The journey now through scenes more acceptable
Easier under foot; the maze remains but it is more palatable
The destination, though, stays the same ...

This is the latest life a soul chose to wander through
A challenge like the glacier to overcome
Scenery with hidden pitfalls, like crevasses, to encounter from time to time
But the soul ... the wanderer ... has to realise
the scene before it is merely an illusion
With acquired dream, control, the scene can be changed at will

And for that soul who feels despondent, down and low
After the sweat and the toil of many a rugged climb
Faced with one more ... realise and change the scene
Apply the alchemy the soul knows it possesses
Refuse to accept the scene and change it ... demand it
Find the scene which is most pleasing
For nothing on the material plane is as it seems
Change the scene
Live the dream you can control
It`s down to you and no-one else
No entity will create the scene for you
You live the dream, they are your thoughts
Change the scene, think more acceptable thoughts, beginning now ...
