How To Use Colours

The best way to get the most benefit from colour is to meditate upon it. Clear your mind, take a few deep breathes from your belly and visualise the colour you wish to use.

Breath in the colour, feel it seep into your skin and deep inside you. Keep breathing deep and slow. Really become the colour. Imagine how that colour feels; realise then what effect that colour has on you. Let these sensations pervade your entire being for as long as possible; 15 minutes is ideal.

Please remember this is not a cure but here to help you with what you want to accomplish. If you feel you can not meditate properly do not forget practice makes perfect. Not everyone is born a natural meditator.

Practice listening to your breath, maybe put on some gentle music or nature sounds. Most of all find the colour which you are drawn to using, and stare at the colour, feel it and see it becoming part of you. This is your time to reap the benefits of it so take you time and enjoy it.
