The PJ DJ's Latest Scratched Record

POLICE last night relentlessly piled up the pressure on the mother of missing Madeleine McCann. The new officer in charge of the investigation put Kate McCann at the centre of two dramatic developments

He was granted permission by a judge to seize her diary and announced that she will be subjected to a minute-by-minute reconstruction of the night Madeleine disappeared. Mr Rebelo is said to have ordered the minute-by-minute reconstruction to test the accounts of part-time GP Kate and heart consultant Gerry, both 39, with statements made by the seven friends on holiday with them. Investigators hope to use the reconstruction to shed light on alleged contradictions in evidence given by different members of the party, who were dining at a nearby tapas restaurant when Madeleine, three, disappeared from the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz 168 days ago

It has been reported that police want to formally ask the couple and their friends to fly back to Portugal to play a role in the reconstruction. Investigators want Kate and Gerry to take part in or advise police on their movements as the event is staged. It may even be filmed and distributed to TV stations in an attempt to jog memories.

Police sources said that Kate’s diary will help their case by revealing her allegedly “volatile” state of mind when Madeleine disappeared. Again, they want to check for inconsistencies with information previously given to police and for clues about the personal relationship between the McCanns and other members of the party with them on the Algarve.

The source said: “Kate McCann’s life and background is being looked at under a magnifying glass. Her mental and physical health leading up to Madeleine’s disappearance could be key to the investigation. “We want to know if she was taking sedatives or any other kind of medication which may have affected her state of mind.”

The moves came as reports in Portugal said that Mr Rebelo and his hand-picked team have re-opened new lines of inquiry. But he will continue to build a case against Kate and Gerry, who are still being treated as chief suspects. Detectives believe Kate killed her daughter by accidentally giving her an overdose of sedatives. (Daily Express)

IMO - In My Opinion.
So. Here we have 'The Mudslinger's Waltz" part II being aired. Another scratched record (possibly scratched by all the salt which is being thrown onto it). Do you really think that an 'key' investigative evidence or information will be aired in this way? Come on, this is a major 'investigation' ... I doubt very much any case sensitive information will be divulged through media channels. This is just the sword being turned a little more ... the Sword of Damocles swinging over Gerry's head like I've been intuiting in recent insights ... more and more pressure ... ignore the media and read a good novel is my advice .... this DJ is playing the same record collection as the last one ....Speculative journalism on the biggest ongoing news story to guarantee sales ... because they know there is gullibility out there and people wanting to believe the worst. Stop and think what it must be like to be in Kate's shoes ... would you like it if it was you? Nope ... ok ... realise what the media is up to ... the same leopard with the same spots ... it is a scam.
