I first began sighting these Australian native birds around Stranger Pond. Then on several occasions at the Jerrabomberra Wetlands. This image was captured at Stranger Pond; it had become a bit of a routine to arrive at the same spot and see this same bird sitting there. I guess it had its favourite spot and didn't mind the paparazzi attention each morning!
