Green laser beam similar to the archOk, we've got an unknown phenomenon going on here. There are storm clouds building as I write. But for the last twenty minutes we've been outside watching an arch of green laser light from east to west across the sky. The beam appears several metres wide ... there are no laser shows of any description in the local area. The beam is constant ... occasionally pulsing and omitting a very high frequency resonance which I detected as a high pitch whistle. The green arch is just hanging there. It cannot be hand held devices ... the one to the left of us (the westerly end of the arch) appears to originate not on the ground but in mid-air.
It is weird to tell you the truth. Behind the arch on either side are white clouds building and moving in slowly. There were a couple of times the arch was seen to move slightly ... then pulse . It disappeared but has since reappeared in the same position.
A Google search does not provide any information on any events which could explain this. Coincidental for sure.
