I Know I am physically alone
But my spirit shares company with a host
Their voices fill my mind; a constant electric buzz
Comforting me; compelling me; guiding me
A sound suddenly;
With mystery then in my eyes
I turn round quicky
And catch sight of one bouncing blue light ahead of me
Soundlessly I take to feet
and cross a threshold
Into trees I run; along a dusty trail; over rugged vale
Through fields; their colours a blur ... I run like the wind
Chasing this orb of blue
Its eldritch voice whispering in my mind
Soothing me; telling me to follow
Its laugh a humour I forgot existed
Forgotten melodies like acoustic strings within me
A life's memories returning
To within fields of light I have returned
Home!
A home land forgotten
A secret place kept hidden for safe protection
Ancient inhabitants of mother earth
Sworn guardians to another race
Hidden away; denied by new inhabitants
