Odin: briefest of introductions

Odin is the shaman-god of magic, poetry, divination and inspiration. He is viewed as an important aspect of the One - Odin Allfather, active in the mental & physical worlds. Odin's shamanic experience to 'receive the runes' appears to be one of self crucifixion for the magical period of nine days and nights. The tormented flash if insight which enabled Odin to release the ful potential of the runes for human use was a rare moment in history where the two sides of the brain were linked by a unified response to a single sign.

So who truly was Odin? Merely a figure of Nordic mythology? Or a real person who's true persona is obscured by the chinese whispers of myth and legend. One thing is for sure ... the descriptions and attributes given to Odin match those of another legendary figure, Merlin, perfectly. My own conclusions are therefore that Odin was in truth 'A Merlin'. More than likely a real person. But a God? Mortal yes. Alien hybrid, likely. Annunaki? Possibly. Certainly someone of high alien lineage with powerful shapeshifting and divination abilities. The way he received the runes ... suggests to me the runes were 'provided' to him by visual facsimilies placed directly in his consciousness. A means for Odin to communicate with, and mediate, the intelligence force which was in contact with him ....
