There can be no doubt that a landing strip once existed in the Cedar Forest within the Cedar Mountains in Lebanon. Described in detail in the 'Epic Of Gilgamesh, there was only one such place in all of the ancient Near East. A place renowned for its unique cedars -- Lebanon has the Cedar as its national emblem.
Indeed, that vast platform is still there to this very day. Located in a place nowadays called Baalbek, the immense stone platform -- some five million square feet in area -- rests upon massive stone blocks which weigh hundreds of tons. Three stone blocks weighing more than a thousand tons each -- known as Trilithons -- were quarried in a valley miles away, where one of the colossal stones still sticks out of the ground; its quarrying not having been completed.
There is no modern equipment capable of lifting such a weight - yet someone (Nephilim the local lore says) quarried, lifted and embraced these stone blocks with great precision.
