I haven't taken many photographs of the Grey Butcherbird, and there not many I consider suitable for inclusion in the Favourite's Collection folder ... so this photograph is one of the few. The Grey Butcherbird earns its title from being sighted with its prey hanging from the hook on the end of its beak. It is in the same family as the Currawong and the Australian Magpie as well as Wood Swallows.
This photograph was taken in Hall, ACT back in 2016.
