Ex-Olympian: Transgenders born as biological men should not compete as “women” in sports

Natural News: A former Olympic athlete has bravely come forward to denounce the growing trend of biological men competing in women’s sports as “women,” arguing that this newfound practice is ultimately ruining women’s sports.

Sharron Davies, a competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in past Olympics, says she doesn’t have anything against people who decide to become “transgenders.” What she sees as problematic is trans people who decide to compete in sports against other non-trans people who don’t share their same biological sex.

In a recent tweet, Davies let her position be known loudly and clearly, revealing in so many words that there’s always going to be a “fundamental difference” in strength and ability between a biological male and a biological female – regardless of the “gender” by which a person chooses to identify.
