The thought of a very public, in the media, search with Madeleine coming out of it dead was extremely upsetting. Kate wasn't good. Wednesday was a bad day. When it seemed it may have some credibility - a body being found - it was very, very distressing
Sky News Correspondent Ian Woods has reported from Praia Da Luz for more than 3 weeks after Madeleine McCann was abducted. He has returned to the Algarve resort to find out if the investigation is making any progress, and discover how Gerry and Kate McCann are coping. The street which was once crowded with reporters and satellite trucks is deserted. The police officers who stood guard have gone. Of course there has been one constant factor over the past 6 weeks. Madeleine remains missing, and her parents are still here, waiting for news. So too are millions of people around the world. The extraordinary thing about this case is how people are still interested in the case, even when there have been so few developments worthy of report. Gerry McCann is encouraged that stories about Madeleine are still the most popular items on the Sky News website, and that many reporters are still in Luz to cover the ongoing inquiry. "I'm surprised that so many people are still here but I presume the media wouldn't be kept here if there wasn't a demand for information from people back home," he told me. "But we want to keep the interest focused on HOW it is going to help the search for Madeleine." On Friday it will be 50 days since she was abducted. And as usual, the McCanns have organised an event to attract publicity, Gerry McCann said: "On the 50th day we are going to release 50 balloons with Madeleine's image on them in 50 countries. We have already got around 50 countries involved through contacts and friends."
A meeting with the Pope and high profile visits to other countries have ensured that the Madeleine story has maintained momentum. But the only thing which really gets reporters excited is a potential breakthrough in the police investigation. Such moments have been rare, which explains the frenzied activity last week after an anonymous tip-off became public. The police and the media have received hundreds of false leads, and hardly any of them are worthy of reporting.
But when a Dutch newspaper received a map and a note indicating where Madeleine's body would be found, it seemed to have more credibility than most, because of its similarity to a previous case involving two murdered Belgian girls. The newspaper deployed its reporters to the Algarve, and published the story. Gerry McCann says it was "terrifying" when the news was broken to them during a routine meeting with Portuguese police officers. "The immediate reaction was 'Is there something to this?' and clearly that is extremely upsetting. The thought of a very public, in the media, search with Madeleine coming out of it dead was extremely upsetting. Kate wasn't good. Wednesday was a bad day. When it seemed it may have some credibility - a body being found - it was very, very distressing. I managed to cling on to thinking 'We need to find out first if this is credible'." "I haven't seen the letter, I don't know if it was a hoax. I don't know what the intention was of the person who sent it but they may have been trying to help. "I don't think that justifies it going on the front page of a respected national newspaper." (Sky News)
There are a number of interesting statements in the above new's story. My mind goes back to a 'dream sequence' I watched unfold recently ... the last scene in the sequence showed a small girl playing in a garden wearing a red/pink dress. She was dancing around with other children on a sunny day. The sequence began with paperwork refering to IVF treatment and all the subsequent blood tests and DNA reviews? It then progressed into scenery where a figure of some influence became aware of one case in particular and watched it unfold from the periphery. The child was born ... and the family observed. Progress reports & medical records of this particular child were reviewed on a regular basis by this unknown watcher. At some point contacts were made to knights in higher places than the watcher ... and from there is escalated to a child being arranged to be taken following the instructions of some higher place. I saw it depicted as a snow capped mountain. The sequence constantly instilled the lucid dream sense that this child was significant. Very significant.

The insights here confirm the especial attention I'd had on this new's story earlier today. Without 'prying' into the situation too much -- I've elected to use the word 'prying' because I sense very strongly there is more to the the events in the field than what has been reported by the media -- I discern another layer of the 'onion skin' unwrapping. A Freudian slip by Gerry McCann suggests perhaps a body which wasn't Maddy's was found in the field? Am I correct in noticing this?
It is clear the co-ordinates given in the 'hoax' letter led to a discovery. This is a little like the "Lesotho myth' ... I am unable to be dismissive of the whole thing. Indications are strong that a lost trail has now been recovered or rediscovered. Some revelations are now in the pipeline. Interest in the situation is threatening to open up once more with something there below the surface. I sense a list of names or perhaps insinuations are in the possession of someone. The Star card is the significator for Maddy ... the shining star. For this card to appear here; there is something to be studied or considered which may lead to her safe release. I still have no doubt she is safe. Maddy is still alive.
The red roses on the image of the star card which adorn the young girl's feet in the tarot image were never fully explored last time. I noted there seemed to be a rose garden around Maddy at one time. I suspect this epitomises the love which is around Maddy currently ... the respect and the caring nature of her 'captors'. It may also signify images which adorn the wall of a residence she is currently living in? Like paintings of roses perhaps? Interesting ... in the background of the image are snow-capped mountains similar to the dream sequence above.
The Hermit appears to be awaiting some decision ... being patiently waiting to lead person or persons unknown in a different direction ... in the shadow of the media network; but not in the direct spotlight of its web. A trail which may have gone cold seems now to be one considered ...
This links with the senseless accusations made by the Portuguese Police recently ... a finger pointed towards the McCanns and friends apparent destruction of vital evidence. This appears to be the first square on this trail. Another line of enquiry appears to be wandering over old ground.
