I was musing over the next selection for the Favourite's Collection Folder when I can across this little critter. It's a Juvenile Australian Magpie, and I can remember the encounter very well even to this day.
We'd almost completed our circuit of Stranger Pond when I spotted this rather sad looking juvenile standing; its parents were apparently nowhere in site. It permitted me to get almost to touching distance; but to prevent any stress to the juvenile, or its parents should they be close by; I chose to keep my distance and take a series of photographs, from which these four were chosen.
