'On matters of the "abduction" of Madeleine and her anticipated safe return'
Firstly, the abduction itself:

9 of Weapons (reversed)
The Devil (reversed)
The 8 of crescents has the meaning of 'a turning point in either the personal life or business life of the querent. It may indicate that he or she is thinking of giving it all up and seeking an entirely new way of living. The card can herald a new and total about face in one's way of thinking and belief. A sudden conversion perhaps either in faith or in politics or some other sphere of life. It certainly means leaving behind one life style and pattern for something new.
The 9 of Weapons (reversed) indicates the need to look on the bright side as good will come out of the situation. Prayers will be answered and the sword of Damocles lifted from above the shoulders.
The Devil (reversed) can indicate the abuse of power, the need to compel others and an uncontrollable desire to get what you want at all cost. An event to force the hand of others is suggested here.

Secondly, insights into the anticipated safe return. Will this occur?
Maker of Weapons ... indicates it WAS incorporated in the original design of the 'abduction'. Find the maker and you comprehend the mystery. It is the maker who crafted the sword on the anvil prior to its tempering in the 'holy' flames. Here is the mystery behind it all. For behind the maker stands an apparition which is the ancient line which is the reason for it all. This has a link to ancestry and to sacred geometry and places of power. On the front of the anvil is inscribed the two initials 'TV" ... indicative perhaps of the falsehoods created in it all. Also, the anvil rests on the back of an anguished one ... someone who must carry the entire weight of it all on their shoulders. So then who is the Maker of the sword?
2 of Crescents ... a card of harmony. The image of the crescent matching its reflection on the ocean of emotions. The image of the crescent to be accepted by public opinion in the end ... but what does the crescent represent other than the symbol for the moon?
4 of Staves ... four branches lead from the edge of the image to the white rectangular centre which has a crown in its middle. The Lord of the Perfected Work. This represents good fortune and happiness. It is the indication there is no reason to doubt that Madeleine McCann will be returned safe and well. It suits those who 'abducted' her for her to be returned safely in the end.
